Dawn is amazing! She is a joy to work with and was spot on in making color recommendations that both compliment our new home and align with our personal taste. She also provided recommendations on a kitchen table, chairs, sofa, and bar stools. She was great and sending pictures of items that were extremely affordable and well within our budget. If you are even considering getting some help call Dawn. She is fantastic and extremely affordable for the services you get.

Not ever having the experience of working with an interior decorator, I was a little nervous about what to expect. Dawn was very patient and listened carefully as I took her on a tour of my home. She was very interested in what I wanted to keep and what I was willing to replace. Because I had so many things that I wanted to do, Dawn suggested prioritizing my wish list. The new color palette that she suggested will create a nice cohesive look from room to room. She has given me back the confidence to go out shopping again! Her professionalism and expertise are commendable! I can't wait to have her back again!

We are looking to give our house a little facelift and decided that new paint was the way to go. After spending hours staring at paint chips and getting nowhere, I decide to search Angie's list and that's when I came across Eye to Eye. Dawn was very pleasant over the phone and I got the feeling that I would enjoy working with her. She arrived on time and we got to work. She was honest but not rude or pushy. She was thorough with her selection process (we have 1 challenging room) and very thoughtful of our needs. I was very pleased with our meeting and am excited about the colors she chose. I would definitely give her a call again if I need advice and I would recommend her to others.

We know from past experiences that getting help with design and decorating is a very smart and money saving option. Asking Dawn for her assistance was another great decision. We needed advice on numerous levels.. Dawn emailed a style survey to us to help her understand our decorating style and color preferences. She asked for both of our preferences so she could find common ground in style and colors. From there she made recommendations and we made decisions on our flooring, counters and backsplashes, lighting fixtures and wall colors. Then she helped us decide what items to bring from our previous residences that would work with the new design in a smaller home. When the basic work was finished she pulled the design together by placing furniture and giving us ideas of inexpensive accessories (lamps, area rugs, decorative pillows) and where to buy them. She selected artwork from our existing collection and suggested placement. We are thrilled with our new home.

I had recently purchased a new (and my first) home late last fall. When I initially moved in, I had painted a few rooms (i.e. bedroom, living room) and left the rest of the home "to be continued". However, when I decided to return to this project this spring and choose colors to complete the rest of my home's interior, I found myself completely overwhelmed by the myriad of color choices out there. While I was able to visualize and verbalize what I wanted (or so I thought), the hundreds of color options made the task seemingly impossible. At this point, as I found myself surrounded by a sea of color swatches, I decided to use good ole "Google" to find interior paint consultants in my area - the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I wanted to find someone who could not only put my ideas and words into corresponding colors, but also wanted to find someone who could create a nice flow of colors throughout my home. Although I wanted color throughout my house, I also wanted it to all work and compliment one another. Luckily for me, I came across "Eye to Eye Interiors" based out of Downers Grove, IL. The owner/design consultant, Dawn, replied promptly to my initial e-mail inquiring about her services and if they were a match for my needs. After talking via e-mail and on the phone a couple of times, we scheduled an in-home consultation. Dawn spent approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours at my home and the end result was incredible. Through our conversations and a small "quiz" that I completed prior to her consult, I really think Dawn had an idea of what I was looking for in terms of colors. She had said that I seemed to want a warm, earthy kind of feel and, as we started looking at colors, I could tell that she was on the right path. We worked from room to room and always considered how one color worked with the others already chosen. The color palette that we had ultimately decided upon was perfect! Dawn was everything I had hoped to find when I initially decided to look for professional assistance in choosing interior paint colors. She was nice, thoughtful, polite, professional, and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Dawn to anyone who needs such help as I did a few months back.
