Patrick and his team were great. They were on time, professional and did a great job. They also removed a fence separating garage spots and an old radiator and piping on the walls and ceiling to open up the garage space. They re-used one of the door operators to work with the new door, installed an on/off switch, since there wasn’t any, and programmed all the remotes and the outside access panel to work. A great company to work with.

I was referred to Aubrey Garages by a neighbor who had recently had a new garage door installed by them. I called and the owner was at my home the very same day and was very professional, he spent a while going over different door samples and options with me and took his time explaining them all. I picked out a basic door and they were back the very next day to install the new door. It looks great and they even took the time going over helpful maintenance tips with me and completed the job quickly, I would recommend them to anyone in need of a new garage door or any garage work.

They were responsive and good.

They poured the steps for the garage in a different place than they put the door. They put two steps, which fell apart within a year, and they have not responded. I talked to the office three times in two years and now the warranty is not valid. They have never called me and never came out. They said they couldn't find the record and now it is just passed the warranty. The garage is falling apart and it was a $8,000 garage that is going to have to be redone. Every year he tells me he will be right out and the last time he said he couldn't find the file. I thought the original pricing was fine. The garage is still standing but the steps are unusable. I would not use them in the future.

I contacted Hill's to come out and service a broken garage door at an investment/rental property. Called on a Friday and scheduled a service appointment for the following Wednesday morning in order to evaluate and hopefully solve the problem. Told the person on the phone that I did not live at the service address and specifically gave them my cell number so that they could contact me in case the technician was running late or needed to reschedule. The day of the appointment I waited at the rental property for 35 minutes before contacting Hill's to find out why no one had arrived. Called the vendor's phone number three times before someone picked up the phone. The person I spoke with was unapologetic and told me that the technician was on the other end of the city picking up a part for another customer. When I told the vendor that an appointment had been made for this morning and that the technician was already 35 minutes late the response from the vendor was "What do you want me to do about it?". In the end Hill's did me a favor by not showing up. That type of response from a vendor, unprofessional and rude, is probably indicative of the quality of their work.

On September 13, 2007 we met with Patrick Coley about removing an old garage and building a new one. He took a $5000.00 deposit at that time and cashed it the next day. He was late submitting plans, which didn't get approved until November. At that time he said it was too late to start building. He said he would return our deposit minus $500 for his efforts to submit plans. It is now a year later and after many phone calls to and assurances from Patrick Coley, we haven't received any money from Hill's Garage Mart.

They gave the lowest bid of all the estimates that I got. I thought that they kept their word. They are very conscientious. I never even saw them take a bathroom break; they just kept working on working. They were just great.

ESTIMATOR DID NOT SHOW FOR APPOINTMENT, NOR DID HILL'S CALL TO EXPLAIN WHY. SO I CALLED AND LEARNED THAT OUR GUY HAD BEEN REROUTED TO AN EMERGENCY. THAT SOUNDED FAIR, SO I SET UP ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. SAME RESULT: NO SHOW, NO CALL. I CALLED THE OFFICE FOR AN EXPLANATION. HILL'S SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT THE ESTIMATOR AND CALL RIGHT BACK. THEY DIDN'T. I CALLED BACK AGAIN AND LEFT A MESSAGE REGISTERING MY DISAPPOINTMENT. NO RESPONSE.

IT WORKS NOW! HOWEVER, THEY ARRIVED THREE HOURS LATE. THEY WERE GOING TO LEAVE WITHOUT POSITIONING THE DOOR TO OPEN AND CLOSE PROPERLY. HOWEVER, THEY DID ADJUST IT WHEN I ASKED THEM TO AND BEFORE THEY WERE PAID. THEY ALSO REPLACED THE DOWNSPOUT ON THE GARAGE.

THEIR BID WAS COMPETITIVE. THE GENTLEMEN WHO INSTALLED THE NEW DOOR TOOK WERE PROMPT, FRIENDLY, AND TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN ABOUT THE PROBLEMS WE WERE HAVING WITH THE OLD DOOR. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEIR JOB, AND EVEN TRIED TO CLEAN DEBRIS ANOTHER CONTRACTOR HAD LEFT BEFORE WE STOPPED THEM.

THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK, AND WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE TO HANDLE UNEXPECTED SITUATIONS AND DELIVER A JOB WELL DONE. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. PROTECTED OUR FOUNDATION PLANTINGS AND CLEANED UP BEAUTIFULLY AFTER EACH VISIT THROUGHOUT THE JOB. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
