AAA Appliance Service Center

Very good service, even through price was not the cheapest, we considered it worth it. The technician was very professional and knew what he was doing. We also appreciated how they confirmed appointments with an email plus a phone call when en route. The diagnostics call was $124 for two appliances -- a Samsung refrigerator and a Samsung dishwasher. $89 for the first appliance + $35 for the second appliance since it was scheduled in the same trip. The refrigerator door hinge, grommet and spacer were scraping down and made the door hard to open. Parts were ordered and took about 3 days to arrive. Repair was scheduled for the following week. The hinge and grommet were replaced and door opens easily now. The dishwasher had a heating element problem, and the quote for the repair was more than the cost of a new dishwasher ($300 for parts alone + ~$200 for labor), so we decided to replace vs. repair.

Not well, no work performed. Overall poor service. Called for service after receiving their number from calling LG hotline in appliance manual. Initial call was courteous and took a week to schedule for someone to come out. I provided model number of appliance & synopsis of problem. I was given a window of time between 1-5 pm. Not the best but it was first appointment time I could get. I work afternoons, so I planned on being late to work for a few hours. I was told an $89 service charge was imminent to diagnose the problem & after that...whatever repair would be. 3pm rolled around, no call. A bit after 3 pm I was told the tech was 30 min away. A bit after 4, no tech & I receive a call that tech put wrong address in GPS & went to wrong address...40 min away. The tech finally shows up 1.5 hours past the last time of window...I had already called in to work & took off at that point. Tech in my house for all of 2 min & says "Oh, you didn't tell them it was a stackable. I need a 2nd man. Will be very expensive." Goes on to say he can't tell me what problem is because needs to remove dryer on top, but insists on collecting service fee. I paid it at the time because he basically says he can come out on Saturday or I can specify daytime appt. Tech says someone will call me the next day to arrange for service. 3pm rolls around next day, no call. I call myself...didn't even sound like a call was on the board of things to do. I ask for an appt and am told another week if I need a morning appt. I ask to be refunded $89 for service call as it cost me a day of pay & they seem inefficient and inept. I better see the refund is all I can say. How do businesses stay afloat this way? Probably because it's a large corporation that farms out the work with no accountability. I suspect because when I was asked to make out the check - I was told to make it out to Appliance Service Center....not AAA. So frustrating.

The service turned out fine. They charged us an additional $40 on top of the $89 Big Deal cost because we had another appliance that they looked at. They did not seem to be terribly experienced and their expertise was not impressive to me. They should make sure that they have people that know the product they are dealing with. We have a high-end appliance that we are trying to get fixed and he did not seemed to be familiar with the product and that was a little bit disconcerting, but it is what it is. It was an average service call. They were on-time.

Came in on Dec 15 to diagnose the problem(pump). Came back and showed/explained how it went bad and replaced it. Works great now.

It was fine. I had to wait for a while for the parts to come in but overall the coordination between the office and the technician was good.

FIRST: We are talking about a nearly 60 year old vintage Chambers built-in gas stove top and oven. It took us months to find someone who would even look at it much less fix the problems that had occurred. I called and explained that the work we needed done was out of the ordinary but the list of possible providers emailed to us by Angie's List didn't even mention these highly rated people. However after many phone calls ,thank goodness, we found them right there on the list. NEXT: If there was a double A I would give them that rating. They are totally professional. Colleen in the office was on top of everything. All of my questions were answered and the schedule was perfect. We were notified in advance what was happening, when to expect it and who to expect. There was even a picture of Jim the technician in the email before he came. When Jim came he knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. He even knew the exact kind of English made aluminum screw that had to be tracked down to re-attach the loose handle. And he knew where to locate one. WOW! He also knew what was causing the oven to malfunction and how to fix it. It took a couple of weeks to track down the parts needed but then he was back and in a couple of hours we were back in business. Last night we baked a cake to cake to celebrate and it came out perfect. To be honest it was pricey but it was mostly the parts that made it so. I have no complaint. I will recommend them to everyone. I will also be sending their name to the Chambers Lovers website. Thank you AAA and thank you Angie

The valve had been replaced once before so I was told this repair would be covered under warranty - I was very happy that there was no charge for the new part. I was even HAPPIER that I was not charged a trip charge for the replacement under warranty. The part itself had cracked, so it must have been faulty and I am so glad that AAA made it right. So, I would say it went great. Dave the technician who did this work is very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. I've had nothing but good experiences with AAA Appliance and Dave is a great asset to the company. Also, the office staff (Jennifer in this case) is wonderful - they call when the tech is on the way and are great with the scheduling. I also got an email confirming the appointment and providing me the details. Thanks to everyone for a great experience.

Tech was very friendly, but not knowledgeable about my admittedly obscure brand of washing machine. He misdiagnosed it, resulting in an expensive unnecessary parts replacement. Repair was completed by others.

Fixed the washing machine quickly and showed us that it was operating normally. A bit on the expensive side for the service. Didn't have the time for figure it out on my own so the service was worth it.

It was wonderful. The technician named Billy was kind, courteous and professional. Triple A will be the only appliance fix it company I will ever use again!!

The broiler in the oven at a 2-flat that I rent out was not working so I called AAA. The technician was just about on time and was fairly polite and professional. He completed the work in about 20 minutes. The pricing was exorbitant. I understand that most companies charge a service charge for the original call....this was $89. At $86 the parts seemed reasonable, but the labor charge of $196 was not. I think it is very high for a 20 minute job, plus on top of the $196 they still charged the original service fee. Most companies waive the service fee if the repair is completed. If I had more time and didn't need the repair done immediately I would have not used this company. I think there are better choices out there to repair large appliances.

Prompt, professional and yes, i will be calling them again.

Called on a Monday, technician came same-day, diagnosed the issue in less than 15 minutes. A new part had to be ordered. I received an email update and phone call when the part was in (only 3 days). Repair guy returned on Friday of the same week and fixed the issue again in probably less than 15 minutes. No long waits for visits and repair. Reasonably priced. Easy to work with and great communication from the company for updates on progress.

They examined the element, took temperatures and found that my oven was operating within normal parameters. Before they came, I had performed a manual thermometer calibration and had found that it was off my 20 degrees. Even though I made the adjustment myself, I wanted to get a second opinion from a professional. They were right not to recommend any unnecessary adjustments or repairs that would add a great sale to their business but it would add no value to me. I trust them!

They were very good. They were very efficient and did a real good job. I thought the price was very reasonable. The weather was so bad. But they were able to get out here right away and help me out. They gave me a timeframe. I had to stay home in order to meet them. They came within the timeframe. They were very professional and very helpful in suggesting ways to prevent it from happening again. So far it hasn't happened this year.

Horribly. The Service Provider changed the agreement that was in the Big Deal. I took time off work and they came and left without doing anything. They wanted me to pay more money for services that were in the already included in the agreement.

It went well. Dave was on time and they called ahead to let me know approximately when he would arrive. He was professional and courteous. I explained the problem and he went to work. Approximately, 20 minutes later he diagnosed the problem and it turned out the be a spring problem in the compressor. He checked the cooling sytem and said it was working very well. He gave me a price to change the compressor and I declined and he was not pushing me to have it fixed by his company. He gave me his thoughts about the problem and I appreciated his advice. Now I know what to look for in the future if I start having problems and what the cause would be.

The dishwasher stopped working and I tried to fix it myself. I couldn’t get it to work. I was looking for someone on Angie’s list to help me. I found this deal that was pretty good. I bought it on 1/7/14 and the same day I scheduled an appointment with them for next week. Yesterday I tried to turn on my dishwasher and it work just like it used to. So now I don’t need this deal. Nothing is wrong with the provider or Angie’s list it’s just good luck that it started again. They were very helpful describing the service and gave me to earliest convenient date for me.

They were prompt, easy and quick. They did what I expected. They came out within twenty four hours of being called.

This experience makes me never want to call an appliance repair service again. AAA says they are environmentally friendly, but the technician was going to refill my obviously leaking refrigerator and call it a day. He didn't have the right part and told me to go do this myself. Then he charged the service fee of $85. I am considering contesting this charge with my credit card company.

I have used them before for my dishwasher, and my range. I think they are very punctual, and they always come in on time. They always show up when they say they will show up, and they send a quote within 24 hours. They have this service where they email you the name and the picture of the repairman who will show up. When he shows up at your door, you know it is them. I have had the same repairman with them for years.

Out of the three companies I researched, AAA Appliance Service Center was the most expensive. I went with AAA because they were the first to return my call and schedule an appointment. They also allowed for one tech to look at multiple appliances. Other companies will send different techs. The service tech Arturo is very knowledgible, spent the time to explain and is a nice guy. He did fix my dishwasher and it is still working. The bad - I overpaid and the time between the innitial call and a working dishwasher was 10 days. This company is very professional and corporate. Expect some reply to this post, but there is no way around they are ~25% too high for labor and parts. The process to order parts takes way too long. Had I known it was going to be 10 days, I would have went with another company that has the abillity to buy parts locally.

Have used this company for several years - have always been very satisfied with their service they are punctual, professional, and very capable.
