Description of Work: My clothes dryer was making squealing noises. I thought bearings were wearing out and it would not be worth fixing. Took a chance on an Angie's list coupon for a diagnosis. Set up a time for a tech visit who arrived exactly when scheduled. He found a small worn part, ordered a replacement and returned four days later and had the machine up and running. He even cleaned the vent. It has been running smoothly ever since. | | |

Description of Work: I called them to fix the broiler on my Bosch range. The tech that came out was not very professional and he seemed to be in a bad mood. Ricardo I believe is his name but it's been a while so I could be wrong. Anyway, he wasn't very pleasant and he quoted me over $500 to fix a gas valve. That's half the price of the range. I ended up using another company and only cost $267. I may have paid the $500 if the tech would've been more professional.

Description of Work: The provider was scheduled to repair a microwave. We were told the repairman would arrive anytime between 1pm - 5pm. We were notified that it would be closer to 5pm mid-day. At 4pm we were told he was enroute. It's currently 5:40pm, and we are still waiting. We called the office number and were sent to an after hours answering service. No one has called back, so we are assuming the repairman will be a no show. Not a great way to win a new customer!

American Home Shield has us in their system under our parent company A James Enterprises and there is another company called AAA Appliance. I am sorry for the confusion, but we have not serviced your home since 2013 through your American Home Shield warranty. In 2013, our technician assisted you with your Samsung Dishwasher. If you are still with American Home Shield, you can request service companies in their network that you have been satisfied with previously. Description of Work: I've called this company more than once because they are prompt and professional. We've had them out to look at our aging washer and drier more than once, fixing them so we don't yet have to purchase a new set. They've cleaned the drier, fixed the control buttons, fixed the washer "brakes" so that it properly stops the drum when necessary. They've also fixed our dish washer. Each time we were given options and suggestions for how to proceed, and the pricing for each. The last time we had the drier looked at, he told us it needs a new motor, but he didn't recommend it because it's expensive. He warned us that it will eventually just quit working but we are ok with that because we know we need a new one. But it's nice to hear honest opinions from AAA and not just a hard sell to purchase a new motor. Overall, an easy to work with company, and all the repairs we've had done we've never had any trouble with afterwards.

Description of Work: My clothes dryer stopped working due to a broken switch. The manufacturer of the unit advised me to simply buy a new unit. Rich, of AAA Appliance, came out to the house, as scheduled and on time. He was extremely efficient and fixed the problem in under one-half an hour - saving me the expense and fuss of buying a new dryer unit. (Thanks, Rich)I would hire again without hesitation.
