Aguilar did this job with a crowbar, sledgehammer and his knowledge of carpentry. Started at the roof and worked down until the shed was gone. We put the scrap into a dumpster. Aguilar returned and finished the work by digging up the vertical posts (concrete embedded). Nice job, no surprises.

Raymundo Aguilar is a craftsman and takes great pride in his work. Due to the large grain of the wood on the interior doors, they were difficult to stain. Mr. Aguilar was not satisfied with his initial results so, on his own time, he stripped and re-stained them. I respect his pride in his work and will plan on using him again for a number of projects. I found him on Angie's List and chose him because of the recommendations of other users.

Raymundo did an outstanding job. He is very precise and pays attention to detail. He is eager to do the job right.

Raymundo did an outstanding job. I don't think there is anything he cannot do. He is a very good carpenter. I have been looking for someone like him to do carpentry work for years. He works very hard and is someone you can rely on. I had a good feeling about him from the beginning and my intuition was right. He can be trusted and goes above and beyond. Over the summer I have had a number of people working in my house and Raymundo was the most impressive of them all. I plan to have him continue working on several other projects. When you meet someone like him, you want to see him be successful in business. He knows a little English. To help the communication go better I used a translation service (that is free) over the Internet to help me write notes to him and he seemed to understand them. Also, he has lovely teen age children who speak English and helped us with the communication.

Overall I was pretty happy with Raymundo. He was very polite and courteous. During the time he worked on the contracted work he did a couple of small things for no extra charge - he fixed a loose handrail and fixed 2 areas where the walls had been damaged during my removal of the baseboards. After seeing the amount of work he did, I was very happy with the price. There were a couple of minor draw backs. Raymundo's English is not great and we had a couple of miscommunications. He also got line chalk all over our new carpet - it took us 3 hours to get it all out. Additionally he drilled a hole in the wrong place while installing the storm door leaving a small hole in the aluminum - he did promise to come back to fix it and pay for the screen that was damaged. Most of Raymundos's work was very good. There were a couple of mitre joints I thought may have been a bit off. In the end I would hire Raymundo again.

Raymundo was very professional and polite. He listened to what we wanted and was willing to make changes if necessary. The bookshelves are very sturdy and look like they were built with the house. I've received many compliments from friends and neighbors about the bookshelves and how great they look in the room. Raymundo was so pleasant to have around, he was quiet and he always kept his work space neat and made sure to clean up everyday before he left for the night. We will definitely hire him again for more future work in our house!

Ray was prompt and performed the work required in a professional manner. Could not get an exact match for stain but got as close as possible.

I CALLED AND EXPLAINED THE WORK THAT I NEEDED DONE. THE MAN SAID HE WOULD CHECK HIS SCHEDULE, AND CALL ME WHEN HE COULD COME OUT AND GIVE AN ESTIMATE. NEVER CALLED!! CERTAINLY WOULD NOT CALL THEM AGAIN.

THIS IS THE SECOND JOB FOR WHICH I'VE HIRED RAMUNDO. HE IS THE BEST SMALL JOB CONTRACTOR THAT I'VE EVER HAD WORK FOR ME. HE'S POLITE, HONEST, AND VERY TALENTED WITH CARPENTRY AND WOODWORK. THOUGH THE JOB TOOK LONGER THAN HE PREDICTED, HE CHARGED THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATED AMOUNT. HE CLEANED UP DUST AND DEBRIS EVERY DAY. HE ALSO DOES JOBS THAT REQUIRE PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL. HIS ENGLISH IS SERVICEABLE, BUT NOT EXCELLENT.

I HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR RAYMUNDO. HE WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE OUR ANTIQUE TRIM (2 DIFFERENT STYLES, AND NOTHING LIKE THEM IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ANYMORE). HE MILLED NEW PIECES USING A ROUTER AND A TABLE SAW, AND ALSO BY HAND PLANING. EVERY DAY HE SHOWED UP ON TIME. AT NIGHT HE SWEPT, VACUUMED, AND ORGANIZED HIS TOOLS AND PUT THEM OUT OF THE WAY. WHEN FINISHED, THE COMPLETED PROJECT LOOKED EXACTLY AS WE HAD HOPED IT WOULD. THE NEW WALL OPENING, WITH ITS COMPLICATED AND ORNATE TRIM, IS PERFECTLY MATCHED IN COLOR AND STYLE WITH OUR LIVING AND DINING ROOMS.
