About us

Bauer Auction offers full auction & appraisal services. We have a Weekly Consignment Auction every Tuesday at our building in Mattoon, IL. We have a monthly Antique & Collectible auction the 2nd Sunday of Every month (except May on Mother's day, then we move it to the 3rd Sunday). We also have a traveling auction service that can auction full estates, businesses, real estate and large equipment on site.

Services we offer

On-site Auctions - Basically after we receive a phone call from you expressing your interest in having an auction we set up a time to meet with you. Don or Hank Bauer will meet with you to look over your estate, answer any questions you might have and give you an idea of what all goes into having your own auction. We will assist you in setting up the auction or depending on what you decide we are readily available to set up the entire auction. We also advise you on how & where best to advertise.
