After two calls to the office, a salesperson came out to assess the work and develop an estimate for our computer networking needs and our AV needs. He sketched out solution for our computer networking and said he would work on the AV estimate. I reviewed his approach with the systems consultant whom I have used for years. My computer consultant pointed out that the solution did nothing to addressmy AV needs and if I am running cable for AV, I might as well run cable for computers. After no response for two weeks, I called and was promised an estimate within 48 hours. Another week went by,. I called again and spoke with the salesperson. He came to our house an hour later as we live only a few blocks from their office. He spent hour at our house. It has now been a month and I have never heard from him again. The solution we need is more of a wiring exercise and he seemed to loose interest when we said we had plenty of flat screen TVs and were not huge audiophiles seeking equipment. I understand if our job is not in their sweet spot. Had they been up front with me about their capabilities and quickly told me that this is not the work in which they specialize, I would have given them a higher rating.
Description of Work: I was seeking an AV and computer networking solution for my home. The provider visited my home twice for estimating purposes but never followed up and provided me with an estimate. Needless to say, no work was performed.

In total, I think that I had to call and leave messages four times to get one phone call response. When I called for the fifth time to set up my install date, got the voicemail again and had to leave a message, and still didn't get a call back, I moved on. There are too many other good companies out there who do want my business and who will call you back and get the job done.
Description of Work: They do not return phone calls. Left a few messages for the guy I was dealing with (not the owner) to come install my tv and hook up my speaker system. He had already been to my house once and given me an estimate. After days of waiting for a call back, he said he could get the job done the following week. Then a week came and went and I never heard back from him. I called the company. They never answer the phone and you have to leave a message on their voice mail every time. I asked them to call me back to schedule an install date for me, and still never got a call back. At that point I was done with them. Poor customer service.

Patrick was very generous with his time (relative to the size of the sale( in discussing my needs and recommending the appropriate set. The delivery was prompt and well done. I am delighted with the set. The company has a great customer service attitude.
Description of Work: Helped select a new flat screen TV and installed the TV. The company really knows the details about TVs and I would strongly recommend them.

Please read above; they are to busy to do the installations, but not too busy to sell TV's and leave customers hanging. Bob Loquercio
Description of Work: I purchased 2 large sized flat screen Panasonic TV's 4 months ago. I paid for the TV's in advance and the big picture installers were booked solid for weeks in advance (I was told). The owner of the company sub contracted two installers that came to my house and incorrectly set up the TV's during the installation. I had to use another company to return weeks later to make the necessary adjustments. When I informed the owner of the company weeks later he offered to send "Mark" his chief installer to complete the job and to quote other installation work I wanted done. Mark schedule an appointment 2 weeks in advance as he explained he was very busy. Mark called me the day before he was scheduled to come to my house and explained he couldn't make it because he had a big job that required his attention. When I explained to Mark my time was valuable as well and I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced again, he replied don't call us back we don't want to work with you.

BECAUSE OF THIS APPROACH, WE HAVE GROWN TO SERVE OVER A THOUSAND HAPPY OWNERS OF HIGH-END AUDIO-VIDEO SYSTEMS ON THE NORTH SHORE OF CHICAGO. AS WITH ALL OUR CLIENTS, WE HAVE TRIED TO GO THE EXTRA MILE WITH THE MEMBER, TO ACCOMMODATE HIS NEEDS AND SCHEDULE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY, INCLUDING THE IMMEDIATE OFFER TO CORRECT ANY DEFICIENCIES HE PERCEIVED IN THE INSTALLATION OF THE TWO TELEVISIONS HE PURCHASED FROM US. HIS REPORT TO ANGIE'S LIST WAS OUR FIRST INDICATION THAT HE WAS UNHAPPY WITH OUR FOLLOW-UP. WHEN HE ASKED US FOR AN ESTIMATE TO DO ADDITIONAL WORK FOR HIM, WE SCHEDULED A SYSTEM DESIGNER TO VISIT HIS HOME. WHEN THE DESIGNER CALLED TO RESCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT, THE MEMBER BECAME SO ANGRY AND ABUSIVE THAT A FUTURE RELATIONSHIP SEEMED IMPOSSIBLE. WE REGRET HAVING TO TELL THE MEMBER THAT WE WOULD NOT BE INTERESTED IN FUTURE PROJECTS WITH HIM, BUT WE ALSO WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT WE NEVER, NEVER LEAVE ANYONE HANGING: WE STAND BEHIND THE TELEVISIONS WE SOLD TO THE MEMBER, AND CONTINUE TO OFFER HIM THE SPEEDY CORRECTION OF ANY PROBLEMS HE HAS WITH THEIR INSTALLATION.

VERY NICE, VERY HELPFUL, PROMPT, CLEAN, AND COURTEOUS. THEY CAME BACK A FEW TIMES TO RESET THE SYSTEM WHEN WE MESSED IT UP. PRICES ARE COMPARABLE TO BIG BOX STORES BUT YOU GET GREAT SERVICE! INSTEAD OF IDIOTS.
