We just purchased our home a few months ago and the sump system was completely new to me. Dave from Lucke Plumbing didn't mind me hanging around while he diagnosed the problem. He showed me how everything on the system works, and explained how old the pump was and why it had to be replaced. He had a replacement pump in the truck and installed it quickly and professionally. When the job was done I had him look at the water shut-off valve leading to my outside faucets. They were leaking terribly when turned on. Instead of telling me they had to be replaced, Dave simply tightened them at no charge. I highly recommend this company.

We were getting ready to leave for a short vacation when we realized that our kitchen sink drain was clogged from its use the night before for a large family dinner. I called several plumbers and none could come out until the afternoon. We thought we would have to delay leaving on vacation but then Lucke came through. They sent a plumber out. He was prompt and courteous. He made sure that he did not get any area under the sink wet or dirty. He was able to clear the drain quickly and all of us were able to leave quickly.

Thet responded quickly and installed sump pump.

2 days after I moved into my new home, and on a Sunday night, the hot water heater started leaking from the relief valve. I called Wilmette Lucke plumbing's answering service and Bob called me back right away. After asking some very pertinent questions, he headed my way. He called while en route so I would know about what time to expect him. Once here, he found and repaired the problem very quickly,and, to make full use of the time I had paid for, fixed another issue. I will very likely use WL plumbing again and soon.

They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards.

They responded right away. Their service is excellent. Their price structure is within reason. They do what's necessary. The job turned out wonderful. Their office staff is very good.

We don’t remember what their price was. Everything was fine with the quality of their service, so we were happy. We will use them again in the future if we need to, but hopefully we don’t have to.

We called Wilmette Lucke Plumbing, as they had an excellent rating on Angie's list and they are nearby, to repair toilets which were not flushing properly and give advice regarding installation of a Toyo Washlet. They got back to us promptly and their plumber Mike came to our house the same afternoon to perform the service and give us the requested advice. He did the job promptly and professionally and was able to answer a number of questions. We will have them back to handle the installation of the washlets and to quote on some other jobs we have in mind. They definitely delivered prompt service and did a great job. They deserve the high rating on Angie's list.

I like them. Both the plumber and the person in the office were prompt, courteous, and professional.

The work was done fine. They came right away when we called them. They are very knowledgeable and their price was very fair.

I called one day, and asked that the work be performed the next day within a specific small window of time. Junior, from Lucke showed up promptly at the beginning of the window, and performed the work promptly. He answered all my questions without fail.

They didn't accept credit cards, which is one of the reasons we aren't using them anymore. They showed up on time. They were neat and friendly. They were actually very creative with the plumbing lines because we had a very tiny wall to go through, and there were a lot of studs. They did fine on that part. I don't have any complaints. They did everything they were supposed to do on time.

They did a good job. They ran into some issues but they were pleasant to deal with.

I have used them before. I thought that they were very good. The guys who come out look big and rough, but they are very polite. They do good work because of which I used them repeatedly. I would recommend them to others.

Dave arrived mid-afternoon, within an hour of my call, directly from another he had been on. He worked very efficiently. Although, I'm sure he was looking forward to the end of his work day, he willingly took on and completed the two other small projects that I sprung on him. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing work.

They are well priced and do a good job. I don't have any complaints about them.

They said they would send me an estimate in the mail. I asked If I could get one on the spot and he said no. They never sent me the estimate. It has been over two months now and I have called them back two times since then asking when they will send us the estimate and I just get the same answer, 'they will have someone call me back'...and no one has called back or sent the estimate. I guess they really do not want our business. We are a 6 unit condo building that needs constant maintenance and work done and this might have been an opportunity for this company to gain a new customer. I guess they don't need the work...but it is rude not to return calls or even explain why they would not provide an estimate when they said they would.

We have a tall thin house, and have never been able to get heat in the radiator in the attic. As an extra when I mentioned this, he got it running. Also, there is a switch on the boiler that is in bad shape, which he informed me was okay for now, that it would hold out until spring. He clearly has an attitude of wanting to save the customer time and expense which I very much appreciate!

I choose Wilmette Plumbing because they were the first company to answer my call with a live person. The work they did was good and he priced me a quote over the phone. However, when I called back the next to inquiry about purchasing and installing a backup sump pump, they lacked the knowledge. The price was for his labor and parts. This was also the only part of an insurance claim not covered.

For me, they were very prompt and very efficient. They knew what they were doing and I felt very confident they did a good job. They will come back for some other little jobs that I have. I would recommend them.

I understand them being busy, but it would be nice if they would have at least called to acknowledge that they received our call. Right now, I feel I have to give them a falling grade. I really don't think that we will be using them.
