They are responsive, take questions seriously, and are really great on trouble shooting over the phone. They took safety very seriously during the Covid time we were in. All the people who work there are great as well. I would highly recommend them.

They have always come within 24 hours of call, fixed the problem, been courteous and informative.

They are a little higher in price. They could've done it cheaper. Everything was fine, except they left a dirty spot on the carpet that I had to clean. The roto-rooting machine was dirty and it was a tough place to get into. I would still use them again.

On a Saturday morning, we found a leak at the shut off in the basement . We called our previous plumber, whose ad mentions 24 hour service, and did not receive a call back until Monday morning. Later Saturday morning we called Kerrigan. They called back within the hour. Peter convinced us that we didn't need emergency service and that it would be cheaper to wait until Monday. Jeff came to us on Monday. He was very professional and also very careful with the 100 year old valve. He explained everything he was doing as he did it. We were very relieved that the fix didn't require the city to shut off our water supply. If he had not been able to adjust the valve, that would have been our only option. I hope we can get Jeff for our future plumbing needs.

I renewed my Angie's List membership just to give this review. We first had our appointment on 6/23. The plumber came in and looked at our valve. He said he had to knock a hole in the wall to get to the valve. Ok, fine. After about an hour and half, he determined he could not fix it and left the hole in the wall, uncovered, and said we had to call someone to get a quote. We have young kids, so we covered it with some paper, but still not ideal. Got a bill for $300, which is fair and what I agreed to do. We did that. We had someone come out and give us a quote the next week and he said that he would email us with the quote in the next day or so. We waited a week. Nothing... I called after 2 weeks and asked where the quote was and I "think" I talked to the owner. He said he'd get us a quote within the next day or so. Nothing... called after 3 weeks of not getting a response. Checked to make sure I had the right email address - yes, they did. Called again in the next few days and the secretary told me that they were checking on some parts. I finally got fed up and had someone else replace the faucet. It is now 8/12 and I still have not heard back from them. Not a peep. It seems like they are uninterested in my business, but what I'm most annoyed about is that they charged me $300 to put a hole in my wall with no resolution. I would have understood if maybe the quote was too high and I had decided to go with another company, but they did a lousy job of following up, damaging my house and billing me for it.

The plumber was very efficient. He arrived within the given time frame and was very professional as he worked in very tight quarters. Explained that he basically needed to replace most of the toilet parts. When he was finished he showed me all the old, worn parts. The toilet works perfectly and does not leak.

F J Kerrigan Plumbing Company performed services for us. We used them for 14 years when we lived there in a house, we recently moved. For over 14 years, they have worked for us many times. We started using them as they were based in the same town that we were and we got recommendations for them. They were fair for the pricing. They were fantastic for the quality of the work. Their responsiveness was really good, they would come on weekends if there was an emergency and were very responsive.

Their work was great. Their work was very good. We had a little bit issue of the cost of it but it was special circumstance. We called on a weekday and their emergency phone was out of order because of the storm. The work was perfect and excellent. They did the work on Saturday. They didn't know when they were out of order because of the storm. I hope they charged us on weekday rates and not of Saturday rates which was triple but anyway their work was fine. They're totally professional.

They haven't been over in awhile but they have taken care of various problems. I think I've used them four times and I find them very prompt to respond. They're very cooperative. They show up when they say they are going to. They give solid estimates and the work holds up. I think they are a little bit, they aren't low cost. I got them through a personal referral and that's a person that doesn't like to throw money away and either do I. I think they give good value for the service.

It went very well. They are always very reliable. I have used them on and off for 20 years. They are always very dependable. The price was very reasonable. The workers were very professional, very nice and very good.

They were very good. I use them all the time. Their price was comparative to other plumbers in the neighborhood. They were very clean. They were fast. I called them and they came out the next day.

They were wonderful. I last used their services in March. It may have cost maybe 80 bucks. They gave me a solution. They told me a product that I could use that I didn't need to call them back. I would absolutely use them again.

We've had them for years. They're great. They're extremely thorough. They work at a problem until they fixed it. They're nice people to have around. I'd give them an A. I would use them again if I need them. The only thing is that they're not the least expensive company but you get what you pay for.

Everything is fine; we have used Kerrigan for years -- probably starting with the fact that one of my brothers went to school with one of the Kerrigan boys. Through them, we started using Kerrigan, and have ever since. They are just fine and also work at the insurance company where I work. I think they also work at O'Hare Airport. They are just fine and are very responsive, friendly and have helped us with outdoor pipe needs when tree roots have grown into a pipe They have helped us indoor numerous times. They replaced a lot of the lead pipes in the basement with copper pipes. Working outside they even caught a gas leak that we had. They have always done great. They are not cheap, that's for sure.

They did a great job. The work was very good. They were very knowledgeable. They knew what they were doing. I was watching to see what was going on and stuff. They spent time to make sure I understood what was going on without impacting their work and their schedule. The work they did, how they did it and how professional they were were reflective of how they were charging to. I liked the way they were handling it and I trust how they were doing it. I would not hesitate to go back to them, no matter what their price was.

Very well. Pete did his usual great job and allowed my cat to assist. He is friendly andvery competent. 3eI have used Kerrigan many times and really like them. This last time though, for some reason, they lost my appointment. They were to have come on Tuesday between noon and 3. At. 4 pm i called and they had no record of the appointment. They said they would be out the next day. So the next morning i called to make sure they hadn't lost this second appointment......andsure enough i was NOT on the schedule. Even so, they did send pete out that day, So i don't know what's up with their scheduling. Maybe it is new people in the office. No idea. The plumbers are great though. And i think their prices are fair. 3eMy advice.....if they tell you they are coming on a certain day, be sure to call that morning and make sure they really are going to be there before you waste a morning or afternoon.

They did fine. I've known them for years. We're very pleased with them. I've used them for 25 years or so. They're a very good company. I think they're extremely honest.

I like Kerrigan but this time they came twice for a relatively simple job working in washers in a basement. The first time they didn't put the handle right so that it would go down and it would hit against the sink so it wouldn't turn off completely and so about a week later, I called them back because it wasn't working. They made it a separate call. They didn't give me a break in the initial cost that they had. A simple job like that and it cost me $600. It's crazy. I like the guy that comes, I like talking to him, but they're definitely overpriced. I'm in an area where there are very few decent plumbers so I would use them but if I had an alternative, I would use them.
