Steve, the owner of the company asked for photos of the ceramic floor tile to be cleaned and we emailed him the photos. Upon seeing our photos, he told us that his cleaning process might damage the old floor tiles, so by mutual agreement we did not go through with the job. His communication to us was professional, timely, and helpful. We will not hire him in the future, because we have vintage tile in our home and his steam cleaning process is not appropriate, according to him. If it were the right process for our situation, we would hire him. If he offered vintage tile repair, we would call him.

They cleaned the mattresses, but did nothing more (i.e. there was no "home allergy audit"). Once finished with the mattresses, which as far as I know they did as agreed, it seemed that they were about to leave. I asked about the "home allergy audit" and was told a few tips about what to do and not do. For example, the person told me that carpets are worse for allergies. This "audit" lasted about 1 minute with no inspection of anything in the house. Normally I complain about "service" when it is not as advertised, but it seemed to me in this case that the guy in our house had no clue about "allergy audits" nor that he was expected to do one. I did not call the company or Angie's List, which normally I would do. I am not sure why I did not in this case, but my account here is exactly what happened.

The serviceman was punctual and professional. He did an excellent job of getting out some stains that I didn't think could be removed. I thought we would have to replace the carpet, but am I glad we didn't have to! I was especially happy with how fast the carpeting dried.

I purchase a deal through Angie's List for the services that Action Cleaning System's provided. Steve, the owner and his son came right on time. They were very professional and did a fantastic job! Our kitchen floor, which had not had the grout cleaned since it was laid 12+ years ago, looked like new again. We definitely recommend this company and will be telling others about their great service.

Action Cleaning has a complete and informative website. It answered all my questions and when I contacted them the owner answered the phone and immediately made arrangements for my service. They arrived on time, and were incredibly helpful moving items that I had not moved myself beforehand. They were through and professional and very respectful of my home while performing the service. This is the first company that I have hired in a long time that actually wanted to provide a service with the quality and pride that I feel has long been forgotten. Action Cleaning gets an A+

The grout was cleaned to like new condition. Excellent Job.

We had purchased a coupon a year ago for just carpet cleaning of 3 rooms. For reasons beyond our control we weren't able to use the coupon until this year. Steve (the owner) was very friendly and asssured us that was not a problem. We added the basement, stairs and furniture cleaning during one of my emails to him. We are very pleased with the work that was done. The carpeting and furniture looks great. The basement carpeting is amazing. Thats where the grandkids play so it was very dirty. We definately will have them back.

Do get a couple of estimates, but I relied on Angie's list to make my choice.

I had just gone through a remodel at my home and they cleaned up the bedroom carpet so it was soft to walk on again. They did a really nice job.

Scott was here at exactly 9 AM, measured all rooms, then explained exactly what he would do and qouted the price. Price was a bit higher than what I was planning on but lower than the last time I had all carpets professionally cleaned - and the other guys did a crappy job. He first spray treated all areas of the carpet, then fired up the magic machine in the back of the truck and went to work. Only took him about 90 minutes from start to finish and it seemed like it should have taken longer to do a good job. He explained that the difference is the pre-treating so you don't have to go over an area 3 or 4 times. The carpets look great and a week later I received a handwritten thank you card in the mail from Steve (owner) thanking me for my business and included was a couple of discount referral coupons - and a Starbucks gift card. Great personal touch from the owner of a small business who understands how to build business. The President of the United States doesn't understand it, but Steve does. HIGHLY recommended

I had used Action Cleaning Systems on two previous occasions: once to clean the tile and grout in the kitchen, and once to clean my living room carpet. I had found this company on Angie's List. On the basis of a promotional offer which was sent to me by Action Cleaning, I made an appointment with Steve, the owner, to have my stairs and home office carpet cleaned. On the day of the appointment: 45 minutes before the scheduled arrival time (9AM) I received a call from Steve asking if I had received his message yesterday. I told him no we had not. (Someone had been home all day the previous day, so I question whether this call was ever really made to us.) Steve informed me that there had been a change and my appointment would be delayed: until later in the afternoon. There was no apology for any inconvenience this might cause, or additional explanation of why the adjustment was over six hours from the original appointment. I agreed with the change, as I had moved furniture for this cleaning to occur and I could adjust my work schedule for the day, but stated that I needed to leave by 4PM. At 1:15 I received a call from the carpet cleaner, telling me that they had just arrived at the client prior to me. It would be another two hours before they could anticipate coming to clean my carpets. I explained that this was not acceptable, as I needed to leave by 4PM. I called Steve, the owner, to express my disappoint with the way my appointment was being handled. Steve informed me that they had become busy. I cancelled the appointment for Monday, 8/6 and said I would like to reschedule either Thursday or Friday of that week. Steve said he would get back to me. About a half hour after this conversation with Steve (2PM) my husband unexpectedly returned home from work. I called Steve to tell him that we would be able to keep the appointment after all. Steve now informed me that the crew had finished the job before mine, were now en route back to the office and they would not be able to make any appointments with me for at least two weeks. I expressed my dissatisfaction in the manner in which this entire situation was handled, and told them I was not interested in making another appointment with Action Cleaning Systems.

The people here are very nice, mostly professional and punctual. However what they did (some combination pressure/steam cleaning) did absolutely nothing to my tile floor. Admittedly the tile is old (1955) but it looked no different after the process than before and I was left with a number of wet spots on my hardwood floor where the workman put his bucket of cleaning solution down. so they were nice people but I don't believe their process is superior in any way to cleaning the floor yourself with whatever cleaners you usually use.

This company deserves 5 stars for services performed, professional manner and cordial interaction with customers. They care that you are happy with the services performed.

I received a Groupon as a housewarming gift to get our carpets cleaned from these guys. When I first called to set up the appt, the guy who answered the phone told me he was out on a job and asked me to email him my info. I did so, and via email we got a day set up for them to come. The day before, he called to ask if we could reschedule so that they could group appointments together, which annoyed me a bit, but when I explained that I had taken the day off work already to be there for them, he assured me that they would make it work, and they did. One guy came and did the whole job by himself, but he was very quick and professional. I walked him through the area to be cleaned, where he pointed out stains in the carpet that would not be removable before he started - he spotted things I had never even noticed myself right off the bat. He quickly took a few measurements and gave me a quote to include the stairs (which I already knew would be extra), as well as for an additional treatment on the whole area. He didn't hard sell me on the extra treatment, which I appreciated. He did the work quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly, and the company followed up with me afterwards, which I thought was nice.

We had a very short window to have our carpets cleaned after our tenant moved out. Steve, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate our timing - meeting me at the house at 8 am on a Sunday to personally clean the carpet and tile himself. I truly appreciated his hard work and willingness to help out on short notice. Not to mention that everything looked great once he was done! He was reliable, professional, and did a great job. I will use Action for our cleaning in the future.

Do use his service. Steve was a pleasure to work with. I bought 2 coupons from Angie's List and put them together - I only had to add $14.00 to the coupons. Call first to make sure Steve is there to greet you and Steve will call you when cleaning is completed. I was also told that he will pick up and deliver for an addition fee. Great Deal!

It was a good experience. They showed up when they said they would.

They got right to work. I explained to them I had a dryer service come out. They were prompt and showed up on time. Two guys went up in the attic and checked out the situation. They were successful in clearing out the clog that was causing the dryer to not work properly. The clog was found on the ground level near the actual. It transformed into a wonderful dryer that works a lot quicker.

They were very friendly and didn't try to oversale. They were reasonable and the guy was very nice. I purchased a $99.00 coupon from Angie's List for the work.

My grout looks like new! My pictures may not look dramatic to someone else since I am a clean person and I would not let my grout get nasty in the first place, but I am very happy with the before and after. Before my grout was cleaned, it was a darker color in the middle of the room as opposed to the edges of the room, especially in high traffic areas like the food prep area of the kitchen and in front of the sinks in the master bathroom. I believe this is the first time the grout has been cleaned in ten years (second owner of 10-yr old house). The technician arrived within the 15 minute window I was given and completed the job in the timeframe given. He was very careful to wear booties in the house and remove them each time he had to go out to the truck. The cleaning was priced per square foot as had been discussed with the owner over the phone when the appointment was made, and the square footage measurement the technician calculated matched my own measurement. Once the cleaning was done, I did have to ask about what the next steps were, and was told to not wash the floor for three days to allow the sealant to sink in and dry, and that I should only use soapy water, vinegar solution, or steam mop to clean it. This was important to find out, as my cleaning crew is normally scheduled to clean the next day and most likely uses some kind of chemical floor cleaner, which the technician told me over time removes the grout sealant. I was a little disappointed that the grout within inches of the toilet not quite as clean; when I asked the technician he said he scrubbed it with a rag since the equipment cannot get that close to edges and that was the best he could do. I gave a ?B? for professionalism because when I was checking the work I saw that a lot of white solution had dried on the hardwood floor that bordered the tile in three places, going back as far as a foot and a half from the tile. I was concerned that this solution might have damaged the finish of the hardwood floor. I asked the technician to wipe it down with a damp towel and to towel dry it before he left, which he did. When I checked it later, there was still some grit left on the floor, but I was able to remove it by wiping it down with a damp towel again and cleaning it with Bona. Additionally, I was a bit surprised that it was just one technician who came out to the house and he told me that it is only one person who goes out to the house for cleanings; before the appointment I had discussed the possibility of them taking a couple area rugs back to clean, but one is under a very heavy wooden bed and I didn?t feel comfortable with only one person moving the bed to get the rug.

I used them before and liked their work. They had one worker come and he did a great job. He cleaned up everything!
