Ken's Landscaping & Supply

The project got off to a good start, but it was the end of the season. We contracted for work into the spring for a sprinkler system. As spring came, this is where our issues started to reside. There was a struggle to get in touch with Ken and get the project started. Once started it would be random on when he would show up or what work would be done. Getting the sprinkler system installed was a huge headache. In talking with other companies or landscaping companies, they have all commented on things like the lines weren't buried deep enough (this was pointed out to Ken, but "fixed" when no one was around), there is a leaky head, poor pressure in some spots and generally no plan whatsoever on when he will be back to fix this. So essentially a 2 day project max has stretched over 4 months with zero communication on a plan to fix. I am essentially out my deposit (he cashes checks quickly), but will have to rebuy the system and tear up my yard again next year. Essentially I would say expect zero communication, a crew that will make mistakes and be just generally frustrated with the process.

Initially looked good but the hardscapes are coming apart, its obvious that two different lots were used and I had two plants that died immediately and he said that he would replace them but that was 6 times over two years. After the products grew out the design was aweful and not what was promised. after the check cleared Ken disappeared. I got his number from someone who has had hardscape work done that failed and had to hire another company to fix due to lack of response. buyer beware with this company. The only thing Ken is good at is cashing checks.

Excellent! He was running late but called me 15 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment.. Very professional and hard working. All other vendors would only deliver to the driveway but Ken placed all the topsoil in my garden boxes. I so appreciated that! Very efficiently raked all the dirt and left everything in excellent condition.

everything went smooth. good staff, good work.

He was honest and approachable. He was a good person.

He has done a great job. The quality of his work is great and the price is reasonable for what they do. He is my preferred contractor for things that he is qualified to do.
