After about 15 years of not doing anything to our lawn (worried about chemicals and kids/pets), we had a sad looking, hard-packed, weed-filled lawn. We decided to try Weedman and have been very happy. For a change, our lawn is the healthy looking one, and it makes the ones on either side look not so good! Weedman visited 6-8 times over the season. Each time, the technician (Chris) rang the doorbell first to tell me what he'd be doing that day, and to see if I had any questions or concerns about the lawn. Chris did the work efficiently, and then left a packet for me on the door, indicating in writing what was done and what I needed to do (e.g., stay off until dry... or water within the week), as well as any extra things noticed or done (they often do spot weed treatments even if it's a fertilizer visit). And here's the best part -- they clean up at the end! They go around the property with a leaf blower and blow any of the granules back into the lawn, so your driveway/patio/sidewalks are clear, and you don't feel like you're walking the stuff into your house unnecessarily. One last comment -- I also very much appreciate that they're not continuously "up-selling" us for additional treatments. There's information provided in our packet, but I don't get pushed to do anything.

They are very good. They will call the night before they come. They are good to explain what they are planning to do to make my lawn look better.

After interviewing different lawn services, I chose to hire Weed Man based on his professional background and quick response to my call for an estimate. He worked with me on his price and returned with the week to treat my lawn. It's the first time I have grubs in my lawn and I feel confident that Weed Man will eradicate them and stop their feasting on my greens.

When I called them, they came out the next day to take care of my lawn. Everyone we've had contact with, has been great.

They did a great job. Lawn looks great. They even took a leaf blower to blow the dry fertiliser pellets back onto the lawn.

They had come to our neighborhood and so we decided to get an estimate. We decided to get the work done ourselves this year as it was over priced and they weren’t bad. A lot of people use them in our neighborhood but we just chose not to do it. The interaction with them went fine. I liked them and I would have gone with them if I had not chosen to do it myself. I would have definitely used them. They were very responsive.

The gentleman who called me back was not very knowledgeable and kept harping that his company was on Angie's List. Because I actually belong to Angie's List, I told him that anyone can be on the List and that his company only had one report. I asked to speak to the owner. Brandon was very pleasant and agreed to come out and inspect my lawn. He seemed knowledgeable about lawns but I eventually decided on another company mainly because of price. As an example, his quote for grub control was twice the price that everyone else was asking.

They were very knowledgeable. Their prices were competitive. They take a very detailed approach.

We've been working with Weed Man for several years and are very happy with their services. The technicians are very friendly Brandon, the owner of the company, is very knowledgeable about lawns and everything related.

Okay-we will not be using again. While the service was decent, I was always calling or emailing them about still having weeds. I know that a friend that used Weedman that had the exact same issue. I don't know if this is because they want to limit toxic chemicalls used--if so, I wish they would have told me in advance that this was the case. As the season continued, I became frustrated by the fact that they would come out and leave estimates for other services but would not notice the continued weeds and address that issue (which was already paid for) while there. When I called about the weeds after one such visit, they said someone was just at our place and they would have noticed that (they didn't). The reports they left never mentioned the weeds, just the other services they wanted to sell me. I had to be persistent to get them to agree to come back that time. With the exception of the time noted above, they were friendly and helpful in communications and were willing to come back out to spray again and did so quickly--it just didn't seem work that well. They were good about providing more flags when I asked-- (initially only 2-3 on front lawn by mailbox-none in back)-- our pets often went out back and we didn't know when Weedman would come so having the flags out back helped us protect our pets.

I always need to call them back for the weeds. Their prices are comparable to other lawn care services.
