We needed a snow servie. We called Vega based on Angieslist reviews and their proximity to our house, in case we had a bad snowfall and needed a quick plow. The quote was $35, which we thought was a bit much, but were willing to try. We called them a few times to negotiate the contract. Janelle was polite when we talked, though it usually was a day after we left a message. We faxed the contract over, but received no confirmation. Since we had no confirmation, I wasn't sure if we had service and I started to shovel when the plow arrived. Angel Vega, the owner, was part of the crew. They were quick and polite, but they pushed the snow across the street on to my neighbors curb. This upset my neighbor, and she told them not to do that. I also did, since I didn't want an issue with my neighbor. I also called the business number and told them not to push the snow across. We went on a trip and when we came back, we had received a warning from the village for improper snow removal. I also noticed that the runner for the gutter downspout was crushed. It was not run over, but seemed like something heavy (like a plow) had been dropped upon it. I called Vega to discuss the two issues. I received a call back two days later. Janelle was courteous, but did not apologize. She also did not offer to replace the downspout runner. I told her that I can not have my neighbor mad at me or the cops writing me up, so please call me back with the plan for snow removal. On call back, she said they didn't push the snow anywhere it shouldn't have been, and that they didn't damage my gutter, and did I want to cancel. Though we didn't witness the gutter crushed by them, nor did we see the violation for plowing on to the street, there is no other good explanation for the gutter (as i said, it did not look run over but crushed by other means, consistent with a plow dropped on it for the scrape) and see no reason for the cops to write a warning violation for any reason other than improper plowing. She did allow me to subtract the cost for gutter runner replacement. We did cancel the service. Janelle did agree to allow me to subtract the downspout from the final bill.

We were not very pleased with Vega's Landscaping. They stopped coming in the end of September instead of going through the season when we had all the leaves falling down. Partially, because I did not use them for my fall clean up and spring-clean up. I used someone else. However, they were responsive. Their pricing was great. I might use them but my husband doesn't want me to use them in the future.

They told me they don't service my area, so I didn't use their services.

They were not in, I left a message, but they never returned my call.

We've used them for years. My husband started doing our own cutting but we still use them for fall clean up and spring clean up and things like that. They do a great job. We've had very good experiences with them. They are very efficient and they come with a complete crew. They're in and out of here in a relatively short period of time. They do a very thorough job. Whenever we've called and asked for their work, even during the busy time they generally show up within three to five days. During that time they are the busiest but all and all a very good experience we've always had with them. The price is always lower than we think. So they've always been very reasonably priced for the service that we get. They are very reasonable. Everything was perfect. Sometimes there's nobody in the office but they do get back to us. It usually takes a couple of days. We will use their services again in the future.

They really cleaned up the whole place. They did a fantastic job. I pay $35 a week. They are very good. They come on time every week.

They do a great job. They blow away all the clippings. I've never had a problem with them. I would definitely recommend them to others.

They showed up promptly, and did a good job, including getting the piled up snow off the end of the driveway. They are also careful where they put the snow, unlike my across the street neighbor's service, who push all their snow into a huge berm in front of my house.

Their work was fine. They are timely. It was definitely a positive experience there. They came out and gave me a bid and it was as stated. I will use their services again in the future.

thought I would update. this is the second year of the brick patio and I have weeks growing up between the bricks! it would appear that nothing was laid down under the bricks from weeds growing up threw them. wouldn't let this company bring in my paper!

I sent a letter to them from work but I haven't heard back from them. I don't know if the letter got lost in the mail or whatever reason they haven't got back to me. They had positive reviews on Angie's List. They gave me a flyer which initially made me aware of the company what they were offering the flyer was what I wanted to be done on my yard. I have to follow up with them as to what's going on because they have not got back to me.

We use their service regularly. We have a monthly contract with them to do the landscaping. I would recommend them to anybody. They are great. They are dependable and they are always here. The lawn looks great. They are professional. Their price is extremely competitive.

We really like them. They are nice and nice to work with. I can't say enough about them. They are wonderful. We requested that they shovel around our house and they were very nice about it and were here to do the work on the next day. They cleared out 2 feet of snow for us. They go on our grass with the plow but don't pull the grass up. They clear out of the way of the driveway and garage. We have had other companies run into things and they have not. They are willing to move our cars for us. They are very nice people.

Good company. Reliable. Very quick. Only issue that I had was getting an estimate from them for removing a tree trunk from the property. Other than that I think they are good. Will use them again next year.

They did a good job and I am hiring them back again. I was out of the country between February and May but they did a great job and were on time for their appointments. They are very reliable and get the work done quickly and efficiently.

job done in two parts due to poor workmanship. first year brick patio laid was wonderful but the three sets of stairs which were concrete were awful. he agreed to return to fix the following spring (2010) started calling him in April to come out - never returned phone calls, was rude on the phone - a struggle. finally in JULY we got him to come out. the cement stairs had started breaking up so we decided to do them in brick. the brick work on the stairs was done by a different person and a young lady. the new brick layer doing the stairs took a long time and seemed very inexperienced. He also didn't speak english. I don't know what the young woman with him was supposed to do. the job is really bad. we also had cement splashed on all three sets of doors because the previous fall they didn't mix the concrete in a container and bring in, but mixed in in the location of the old patio and didn't cover anything to protect it. Additionally, the landing on the stairs outside the laundryroom door was poured so high what the door wouldn't open. There were lots of mistakes made in the laying of the bricks on the stairs visually- patching in focal points - things out of alignment, etc. no care was taken to protect the beautiful patio from the drippage created by all the cutting of the bricks for the stairs so the patio now had all this drippage on it. additionally, the bricks that were cut all had drip marks on them too. Mr Vega assured us that when they were all done they would power wash everything and it would be fine, we went out of town the weekend they were to finish up. When we arrived home, they had been there and had power washed the house and it was clean. they also attempted to power wash the steps and drip marks on the patio. the power washing removed a $650 special protective coating so now the beautiful paio that we did have is unprotected.The drippage marks on the steps are still there. we also now have all these white spots that we have been told is due to the solution for the power washing that wasn't properly cleaned off. Additionally, the power washing also removed the sand that was used to fill the gaps between the tops of the bricks and the landings so now I have these 1/2 inch gaps. My husband called him and asked him to come by to discuss where we go from here and it was startling how unprofessional he was. He started yellling and said "he had already spent more time than he had planned and he wasn't doing any more". My husband said that if he didn't finish the job he wouldnot pay him. Then he accused us of never wanting to pay in the first place and that he would sue us and stalked off the property. The original job was 8400 and we held back 400 because all three sets of stairs were so bad and we wanted to make sure he would come back. when the repair work on the stairs wasn't going well, Mr. Vega suggested that we finish them off with brick. My husband asked what would it take to finish the entire job including last year and he said $850. this was a verbal quote, he didn't give us anything in writing. The final bill he presented us with was $1350. I sent him a check for $500 for the bricks. but if he didn't over charge me last summer for the special sealant of $650 I am going to have to find someone else to do that, I have to find someone to fill the holes in the bricks so that is all we are going to pay. I have never dealt with anyone who was so consistantly rude highly emotional and disrespectful, and hard to get a hold of.

They charge each time they come out, which is different from what I have had in past years when I had a yearly contract with someone. I have paid one bill and it was almost as much as I normally spent for the yearly contract with another company. I was paying $298 for the season and I have spent that for one time. I didn't figure the money right when I added it up. They do a very nice job; their work is very good. I am very pleased with their work. I am sure there is a lot more snow coming so it will add up. It is my own fault because I didn't realize it would work out this way. The price sounded reasonable at first because it was $35 each time they come, but when they are coming twice in one day and it is $70 it adds up and if they come a few times a week then it adds up to a contract price. It isn't their fault because they really aren't charging a lot. The quality is very good. Their professionalism is very good. I will continue to use them this winter but I don't know about next winter, I may go back to a contract with a different company.

They charge $30 a visit just for mowing. The price increases when it comes to removing leaves and plowing the snow. My experience of dealing with them has been very good. I used them for the first time, three months ago. Since then, they have been very good. They have done some extensive landscaping for me, with which I am very pleased. Aside from some glitches here and there of just fitting into my way of doing things, they have done a very good job. They have been very responsive to my needs. Everytime they were delayed by weather, they have always come quickly after.

We have had this service for over ten years and it has been an excellent experience. I highly recommend this company.

Un-believable!!! I contracted with them on 3/23/09 for aerating and dethacthing my lawn. They came on 3/27/09. I heard what was a lawn mower and at 7:45am found it was Vegas Landscaping. In 35 minutes they were done and they did a great job. I cannot understand why I am the only one reporting on this company. Their lawn mowing service is the greatest, they are always on time and when I contracted for more services, they did a super job. I am a very seasoned senior citizen and have NEVER found a company as good as this one. This winter I hired them for snow removal and the snow was hardly on the ground before they came. The last time they came I looked out at 7am after a 6" inch snowfall and found they were already here and the snow was gone. They are a great company and would recommend them to anyone.

They are quick, efficient and do a good job. They will come out and do special work quickly if need be.

Great! better than expected. They did so well that I contracted for annual lawn maintenance. They were on time and were economical. I would definitely recommend them. They did everything on the dates they specified. I contacted 2 other lawn companies twice and neither one of them called back, even after they sent out advertisements. Vega's Landscaping sent out a menu for services and all you had to do was specify what you needed to have done, no salesmen just a request. Easy and on target.
