Description of Work: Two persons from Joern Concrete showed up at the scheduled time. They were friendly and professional and looked at the areas I was considering having work done on. Measuring was done and they explained what they would do and that an estimate would be sent. I received the estimate in about 10 days and the price was probably about average. As one of the areas I was looking to fix was the garage floor, I also had a structural engineer person come by as the garage seemed to be shifting a bit. He did not recommend replacing the garage floor, but suggested I might need a new garage if the ground continues to move under it. This has given me more to think about and winter is coming so my project is probably on hold until next spring. I would definitely consider Joern Concrete at that time, if not for the garage then for the other areas they measured as well.

+ 0 moreThey offered to get the permits from the Village which was extremely helpful. After getting the permits, they called to tell me they would come on 6/23 which they did. They dug everything out and set the boards. That evening there was a heavy rainfall. They called the next morning to tell me they wouldn't come back until the 25th to lay the rebar and lay the Chert-free concrete which they did. They kept me informed as to when I could walk on it and when I could drive on it. They came back several days later to remove the boards but left the tape across the driveway so no one could drive on it. They were very careful about the lawn and replaced the small pieces of grass which were removed to put the boards in. A very satisfactory and pleasant experience.
Description of Work: Put in new double driveway and apron. Also a step.
