Excel Plumbing

They were a little expensive because I think they charged me another 200 dollars. I had already done most of the work for him. It was a pipe stuck in the wall that I couldn't get to, so I'd already cut up a hole and made it very simple. I explained to him all the things I did so he did not have to do them. They were really great. I would think about using them again. He did the job. He was there right when he said he would be. He was very professional.

Had a leakage and needed a quick fix. I called Excel Plumbing because of $50 for $100 drainage work. It ended up with an additional $750 paid for rooting and a laundry pump installation (I was told that it was not working. This is not related to the leakage). Also they gave me an estimate of $250 for installing a faucet. What kind of job insurance they have!? The invoice claimed "cleared obstruction in main sewer line". It only took ONE week for the leakage coming back and caused $5000 wast water damage to the house. Worse than that, I was told the drain was "broken" and needed to be dug out from ground to repair, which would cost 6k to 9k! I am glad I trusted my guts and got a second opinion. Another Pluming said it was roots in pipe and did hydro pressure cleaning, which costed less than $700! I am not sure if the technician knew what he was doing.

This was a big deal purchase. I was not super-pleased with him. He was fine, but the price was horrendous for what he actually did. They came out pretty quick -- day or two -- after I bought the deal. Their responsiveness was fine. The deal was like $`150 for reviewing the complete plumbing system and providing feedback. But the guy just came in, did his stuff and wandered off again. He cleaned up after himself.

Well, I have had another excellent experience with EXCEL Plumbing. John came here and evaluated the reasons why I had a bad clog in my kitchen sink. He worked so hard. He brought the plumbing up to code and the plumbing under my sink looks like somebody who knew what they were doing installed it!!! It was not an easy job. The pipe was so clogged. But John was wonderful. I highly recommend EXCEL Plumbing. I don't know how much it cost because my daughter took care of this for me. But she said the price was very fair. This is the second time I have used them and they really have a great crew of plumbers who know what they are doing. They are no non-sense, hardworking people who I have had complete respect for. Thank you for having such a great time of plumbers. I felt so cared for and what a great job they have done for me. I have to do things in stages because I can't afford to spend thousands of dollars, at least not all at once. I never felt bad about that. We took on what needed to be done. There is still a little more to do but wow, nothing unnecessary was done. Which really helps because I want to take care of those necessary things first. I just love this company. I won't even be looking for anyone else anymore.

Excel is a very professional service with skilled plumbers and great customer service. I will definitely use them in the future!

It went okay. They had to come back another day to complete the job. They seemed high and expensive. They quoted me for a water softener. It came with the house so I had the guy who installed it come out. He just replaced the seals and said it was still good to go.

I called Excel Plumbing in September 2015 to replace the Back up Sump-pump as it failed. They sent one , they came and saw, and suggested to replace everything as the cost is not much difference between Just replacing the Back-up verses, replacing everything including new Primary and Back-up. I said, thats fine and we scheduled it. For installation in two weeks, some one else came, and he suggested to leave the old Primary as it is, as it is working now, he said, "instead, I will install the new Primary, right next to the old one, and install the back-up, so that you will have two primary and one back-up, so total three, which would be much better". I said, that sounds good, go ahead. But did not know that he was just trying to make less work for him and at the end I found out he did a pretty bad job, left the work area so bad and did not c*** properly the sump pump well and he took way way longer. I was not at all happy at the end, but I left it there. But in 4 weeks, to my surprise, the Sump-pump failed. I called Excel ,and explained I was not happy with the first guy who came to install, they sent a different plumber this time and saw the job last person did, and he himself said, yes, he did not do a good job, and I will replace the whole Sump Pump again. I was happy to know that and I said go ahead. So, he replaced Primary and Back-up sump-pump and left. But in 8 weeks, one day, I went downstairs and found out water everywhere. I was really really shocked to know that all three ( Old Primary, New Primary and New Back-up System) failed and water rushing into my Basement. I called Excel and I was trying to see what happened and try to fiddle with the pump. Then new Primary came back as something was struck and it was not working, and when I touched it, new primary came up and it pumped water. By the time Excel guy came, all the water was pumped up and he diagnosed that 1. Old Primary Failed 2. New Primary was struck and did not start 3. new Back-up Fuse gone thats why all three failed and your basement got flooded. He found some fuse and replaced it and charged me $200. I gave him $200. He did not do anything else, did not remove the failed old primary pump. So, in Next 4 weeks, I again called Excel and explained the situation and they sent some one else this time ( 4th new guy) He said, and agreed that the first guy who came to install my Sump-pump should have removed the old Primary as it is in very bad shape and rusty and taking up lot of space, he said, he can remove it and re-pipe it but it costs me $$$ about $250. I said, I can not pay a single dime, as I already paid more than $1400 so far. But he does not want to fix it even though it was Excel who supposed to take care of this mess even caused Water damage in my basement. So, Excel supposed to install new Sump-Pump and Back-up, instead, my old Primary is still in Pit and they had to install two times the new sump-pump and my basement was flooded like h***. So, please dont ever call Excel Plumbing. I hate to write this review on any business, but I am so frustrated with the work they have done and at the end, it is still not fixed. Sorry, please, I do not recommend Excel Plumbing.

Mark has been very helpful in giving me the details. with his help I am able to call Kohler and resolve the issue. Once I get the new faucet, he will come back to finish the job. This is the type of service I expect from a service provider and Excel didn't let me down and Mark was very instrumental in that regard.

The plumber returned twice and the job went as expected.

ge The provider tried to encourage me to buy a new garbage disposal but i insisted on fixing the current one first. The price listed on Angie's list was $50 for $100 worth of plumbing. I paid the $50 to Angie's list but the provider still charged me another $50. I think it was false advertising.

This was not a pleasant experience. Their worker had gotten some equipment stuck while rodding our sewer. When we had asked someone to come the next work day to try to retrieve and use a locator see where it was stuck, they sent what appeared to be a salesman basically saying our only option was to dig and what a "nightmare this must be for us." When we asked why they wouldn't use a locator, he stated that cameras were expensive and they couldn't use anything in our line. We felt like we had no other options so we agreed to the dig. When the excavators came out, they looked in our catch basin and were able to retrieve the worker's equipment without having to dig. It took maybe 10 minutes. We were not upset because their equipment was stuck as the original worker seemed to do his best to fix the problem. We were furious that they were ready to blindly dig up our yard which would have cost thousands and that would not have fixed the problem at hand. We called another company (after getting our deposit refunded), and they were able to clear a line, use the locator and camera and figure out where the actual blockage is. They will be doing our sewer work from now on. This was all handled so poorly. While the workers were all nice, we still can't believe we were so close to spending over $3000 on a job that was useless.

The guy was very nice and he did a great job. He was here in the Summer, like in May or June. I think it was like $80, I'm not sure. I would tell others first of all anybody that comes over say that they are certified by Angie's List, they should have an ID to certify that they are certified by you guys. Well it's not leaking anymore so that's good. The price was reasonable. I bought the faucet. Apparently the quality is good because it's working. This is the second time I have used them.

First off, Mark got here on time which is always a good thing. I told him the several issues occurring under the sink and he got right to work. I was on my computer doing work but every so often he would call me over to explain why the leaks were happening. I really liked that, obviously I do not understand it fully but I now have a better understanding. My brother in law put together all the pipes with the wrong kind of sealer that is not used for plumbing. Also when he inserted another pipe he did not put them in the right way so they are off balance. So Mark came and fixed all the leaking for the deal we got on Angie's List. The other issue that we will have to resolve is whoever did the piping in our place originally used pipes and methods that are no longer allowed. So we will have to get that fixed. We will 100% be using Excel Plumbing again. This was a good wake up call that if you have a plumbing issue just call a plumber it will be done correctly the first time. Instead we went the cheap and wrong route and had leaking issues and in the end will cost us more. Thanks again Mark!!

I purchased a kitchen faucet and Byronn of Excel Plumbing did the installation. He was prompt, on time, courteous and professional. The job was done to my satisfaction and I felt comfortable knowing that Excel backs all work performed. Making the appointment was easy and the people I spoke with at Excel took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns.

The representative, Mark, arrived exactly on time and performed the required service efficiently and completely. I could not be more pleased.

did evaluation of problem. honest diagnosis. replaced part and left. unfortunately, it wasn't the right size and he ended up having to come back. the second time was the charm and it was fixed!

It was fine. I have no problems with it. I don't think the coupon applied for this so there was miscommunication there. I asked to look at the receipt but he specifically said the coupon does not apply to the service that they charged because I brought that up. I paid more than what was specified on Angie's List. I was expecting that I would be able to use it but I was surprised that it was not applicable to the service, and the person arrived and performed the service anyway so I just had to pay. I was disappointed because I expected the coupon to be applied. The job was done and the problem was resolved. They were responsive.

Damian was on time, courteous and friendly. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and left the area where he worked very clean. He checked the hot water heater and sump pump gratis. I'm highly satisfied with both the service and the price.
