I had quotes from other places at both the high and low end so I needed more info. Boom's quote came in at a very reasonable cost. It wasn't an emergency, and they booked me in 2 weeks. The team (led by Miguel) was prompt and went straight to work, finishing both windows and clean up in an hour. The handle was loose on the sliding door, so Miguel took care of that, too. All in all it was a great experience and I'm ready for winter with snug windows. If you need window or screen repair call BOOM!

Outstanding. Technician got the work done well, and quickly. New patio screen door works very well, with pet screen on it as well, great to have on in place again. New screens on front windows also done extremely well, and additionally, fixed a couple window crankshafts - work better than ever. Punctual, professional - will definitely use Boom again.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Because we live in a town house development, BOOM had to provide the management with proof of insurance, etc. This was done without a problem. Miguel came to measure the windows for replacement. They scheduled a date for the work to be done and arrived as scheduled. They removed all the old windows and screens, installed the new ones, cleaned up and were done in about two hours. We will probably have several other windows and screens replaced next year.

Since I live in a Condo where we must have the Board Association's approval for structural changes, there was an extensive amount of "red-tape" of paperwork, measurements, glass samples, and "back and forth communications." John, the owner of Boom Windows, was extremely patient and so helpful in meeting all the requirements and requests of needed information to the Board. The installation was very involved and the individual who did the installation was very good.

THIS is the way to go! I had screen repair work done a few years ago and it was expensive and took a week to get my screens back because repairs were done off-site. I had a completely different experience with Boom. My initial contact was with Michelle. I had called and left a message when they weren't open and she got back to me promptly the next day. She was very sweet, even offering to give me a more accurate quote if I was able to give her the measurements of the windows, which I didn't need since their prices are so reasonable. The appointment I made was less than a week out, which I appreciated. Miguel arrived a few minutes early, and in less than an hour and 15 minutes, all the screens were back in their place. It couldn't have been more convenient. Miguel removed the screens, took them out to his truck where he replaced the screen part, and then brought them back in and installed them. He even noticed one of the windows was hard to open, pointed out the part and said he would replace it, and didn't even charge me for that. I think he also put a new handle on the patio sliding screen, too. Both Michelle and Miguel were very polite and professional, as well as patient. I called Michelle a second time with a question and she was very thorough in answering it, and when I asked Miguel if he could show me how the windows worked, since I just moved in and these are new to me, he was more than happy to assist. In addition, when I told Miguel I was considering getting the patio screen replaced, which I had forgotten about when setting it up with Michelle, he explained that they would waive the service call fee I was told they would charge if I decided to have the patio door screen replaced, so I had it replaced and it was only $10 more than the service call charge would have been. (I think they charge those on really small jobs) I thanked Miguel for letting me know because we are all aware there are people and companies out there who would never have mentioned it and would have charged for both the service call and the sliding door repair since I didn't know better. This is a small local business and I love supporting those. In fact, I think it's important to support those. I HIGHLY recommend them. I can think of no good reason to opt to go with more expensive places that take a week to return your screens when you can get them taken care of for a more reasonable price the same day. I'll be using them in the future, as needed. Call them if you need screen / window repair work done - you'll be glad you did! Call soon though, because I'm sure as the weather warms up, the wait time will be longer.

Wonderful experience from the initial call to make an appointment. I found Boom Window & Screen Company on the list after having tried another provider with no success. My call to Boom was answered promptly, I was given a quote for the work I needed done, and given their available appointment times. I had to wait 2 weeks for the service, but it was worth the wait. Miguel arrived at the specified time, confirmed the work to be done, and was finished in less than 30"! He even lubricated the patio door track and fixed the handle - it works better than it has in years. Miguel and Joe were wonderful. They were prompt, clean and courteous and did a wonderful job. They replaced the foggy glass in 8 windows and installed 3 sashes that I had.

The installers arrived on-site at the time specified. It took about 4 hours for them to complete their job. The site was kept clean through the whole replacement process. The installers explained the warranty that comes with the windows and that if I have any problems to give them a call. It is now turning colder since the windows were installed, and we can tell the difference in our living room. No more drafty windows, which will lead to a lower heating bill this winter. I am very please with the work that was done, and the attention to detail that was taken while the windows were replaced. I will defiantly recommend John to friends and family, as well as bring him back to replace the rest of my windows when I am ready. A job well done by Boom Window and & Screen Company.

Everyone I had contact with in the company was very professional and responsive (sales, customer service and installation). We received a quote in the winter and the work was done in the spring when the outside temperature warmed up. There was no change in the prices and no deposit required until we were ready move forward on the project.

Great experience. My old screen repair guy retired and recommended Boom. I called, left a voicemail, they promptly called back and we scheduled a visit, within a week. The man who came was on time, pleasant and efficient. I wanted them to replace a screen on a screen door and it was done very well. Thanks, Boom!
