Went well! The gentleman showed up on time and completed the work thoroughly and promptly.

I was the last job of the day for the AMRUSS handyman. He came to my house a few minutes before 7pm and left a little around 7:50pm. He had indicated that he was working from 8am that morning. Obviously that was a 12 hour day, full of strenuous work. So, I was appreciative of the long hours that he put in that day. Here are the 2 topics of my concern (1) Toilet Not Flushing Properly. - I had purchased a Toilet Repair kit (Fill Valve + Flap) for the handyman to install in case that was the most effective solution, from a cost & time perspective. Instead of installing that toilet repair kit, he chose to adjust all kinds of things in the toilet. Sure enough, the next day the toilet flushing still didn't work. So, I hired another handyman (not from Angie's List), and he came over & installed the toilet repair kit in 20 minutes. And the toilet works perfectly. (2) The Light bulb on the Garage Door mechanism does not work when the garage opens & closes. - it's not a bulb issue, since I inserted several brand new bulbs. The AMRUSS handyman installed another new bulb and the light still didn't work. So, I asked him if he would analyze why it didn't work. He told me to call a GARAGE DOOR repairman. Not sure why the AMRUSS handyman didn't spend 5 minutes doing what the 2nd handyman I hired. The 2nd Handyman was mentioned above --- regarding the installation of the Toilet Repair kit (Fill Valve & Flap). I asked this 2nd guy to look at why the bulb on the garage door mechanism didn't work. He opened up the unit, saw that the bulb didn't work. He tested the power going to the bulb. There was no power going to the bulb. Then he opened up the garage door mechanism a little more, and saw that the circuit was burnt out in one section. He suggested TWO choices. (1) Purchase a new circuit board, and he would install it, or (2) I could try a more economical solution. There are 2 bulbs in the ceiling of the garage that is controlled by a switch. He suggested I could go to Home Depot or Menards and purchase an item that would change the lights in the ceiling in the garage to "MOTION CONTROLLED". This way the garage lights would come on whenever there is motion. Which meant I would not have to BUY a new circuit board to replace the burnt out circuit board in the garage door mechanism. If the AMRUSS handyman did the same thing listed above as the 2nd Handyman I had to hire, I could have given the AMRUSS guy an A across the board on every category mentioned in the Angie's List survey. 3. Closing Comments So, I felt that I didn't get my money's worth. Had the handyman finished everything on my list and still left in 50 minutes, I would not have complained that I didn't get my 2 hours of work. I would have been thrilled that all the work on my list was completed successfully. In this particular case, one was unsuccessfully done, and another was not even attempted, and he left in 50 minutes. I'm still appreciative that it was a 12 hour day for the AMRUSS Handyman, full of physical work. Unfortunately I was the last one on his list that day.

I bought the coupon through Angie's List and they came out later that day to clean out my gutters. Fantastic!

They did a very nice job. He was fast, clean and very polite and professional.

Great! Guys showed up on time. Despite a frost, they did a terrific job.

They did the job, which is about all I can say. They came towards the back end of the time slot previously discussed and were in and out in about 20 minutes. While they did the work, they didn't seem to concern themselves with anything but getting in and getting out. Two young-ish guys showed up with a ladder and a gas blower and went to work. There wasn't much regard to clean up or to my neighbor's house once the work was complete. After pointing out some of the muck on my home, the crew leader simply stated "The rain will take care of that" and walked off. While they technically did the job, the lack of interest in cleaning up after themselves would rule them out to me for future jobs. So in short, hired crew to clean gutters, they did so, but then i had to clean off my house from all of the mud & wet foliage they blasted all over the place.

Went ok but not as good as in the past

Gutter cleaning is somewhat weather dependent. Amruss communicated ahead of time what days they were planning the service call, and notified me 24 hours prior to arrival. They were prompt, did an excellent job, and were very tidy. Excellent. Would hire again.

Did a great job. Professional and punctual. Keep me updated by phone and email and came early. Very pleased with this company and will defiantly use them again.

We were able to coordinate a time for them to come out within two days of purchasing the Angie's list deal. The tech showed up on time and was done and gone in under a half hour. They followed up with pictures showing the work that they completed and everything looked fantastic and they left no mess behind. I would highly recommend working with them if you need any of their services.

They were intensely studying Google help and calling back to the shop and they were awesome, they tried so hard. They also installed a doorlock perfectly well.

The workers left leaves and wet muck that was removed from the gutters on the lawn in my back yard and it was not cleaned up. Cigarette butts were left all over my driveway by the workers and the workers left my gate open which led to my dog getting away because I did not realize they had left it open. When I called the company about these issues I was never even offered an apology. Would definitely not deal with this company again even though the price was good.

Had to have floor cleaned over three times and I’m still not satisfied. Floor was NEVER clean-and I have pictures to prove it. Technician told me spots could not come out. I was able to get them off with a scrub brush. A power washer is much more powerful than me yet he kept insisting they were impossible to remove. I understand that not all spots come out, but I was able to do a much better job than he did with a pressure washer. DO NOT use them! While the people that answer the phone were accommodating, the people they sent were terrible at their jobs. I requested they send someone else to do the job but they kept sending the same one. Use them only if you like throwing money away.

I purchased the Angie List special and they arrived that afternoon!

After the 2 days of storms, and some clear blockages, I purchased the service, and they got back to me within 24 hours to schedule. They got the gutters completely cleaned and showed me that a couple of plastic bags had stopped up a downspout. They were great and plan on hiring them again to clean out the gutters.

They were able to recaulking a shower stall and bathtub.

The Provider contacted me within 24 hours of my purchasing the service with appointments available the next day. The technicians arrived right on time and were very friendly and professional. My concern is that the work itself doesn't look very professional -- in fact, my husband commented that it looks like we did it ourselves! The technician initially planned to replace the old, yellowed caulk with grout -- which I would then have to seal. When he was finished, he said he'd been unable to do so, as too many chips in the tub finish were "uncovered" when he removed it...so he replaced it with fresh caulk. It's much whiter and brighter looking, but not perfectly even; of greater concern is that I see new "chips" in the finish that weren't there before he started and most certainly were not covered by the old caulk.
