I don't believe they cleaned and flushed out my downspouts. I asked and they didn't really offer to come back and flush them out. Gutters were cleaned out very well and pictures taken. Before and after.

Received the email and we responded. Did not get a return call and as a long time member of Angie's List, that seemed unusual. Being eager to get this done, I phoned the number that was listed. The ad read for 5 hours, however upon contact the DEAL was for 2 people at 2 1/2 hours each! I was hesitant, however scheduled them. My experience taught me that unless these 2 people have been working together routinely, they lack the give and take to get a thorough job done. I would have been better off with just one of them and I know which one may have worked out. No I cannot recommend this company from my personal experience. The man who was doing the scheduling told me that they would "scrub" the floors. The floors were not as clean as should have been the case.

Had a list of items to be done. One job was to put up a storage tent. When I went out to help, the poles for this (similar to tent poles) had been broken (elastic pulled apart). I contacted the company regarding this and never got a response. The young man that did the work was very nice...but I felt very rushed. I was the last appt of the night and he wanted to go home.

I took off work to have this work done. They told me they would arrive between 2 and 4 p.m. At 2 p.m. I gave them a call to confirm if they were still on target with the arrival time. I was told yes, they would be arriving around 3:30 p.m. I got a phone call from them some time later saying that the technician was going to be held up and needed to reschedule because he ran into a problem putting up some Christmas lights at another clients home. I missed some very important engagements this day to have this work done, and they did not show up. This was very unprofessional.

Prompt, good service. We would use them again.

Though I booked through Isabel’s Skalens, I noticed e-mails were from Amruss. Not sure why. Work was done properly and professionally.

Very well as usual. I have used this company every year for gutter cleaning, and every year they do a very good job. Will use them again next year.

They were available shortly after my first contact, flexible for my schedule, showed up right on time, and efficiently completed the job doing all windows inside and out plus screens. Friendly, efficient and professional.

The gentleman that came was very professional. I needed my shower to be cauked and some of the grout to be fixed. He did a great job cauking but when I asked him about the areas that needed grout, he said it didn’t need it and just needed to be cleaned. We were told previously by another company that we did need it and you can tell that the grout is wearing away. Therefore, no grouting was done. When he finished he gave me a receipt and he wrote grouting for the service provided. I am wondering if there is a miscommunication and they think cauking is grouting. All in all the cauking was done fine, but I wanted the grout done also.

great. no problems. The only thing is they were surprised that I wanted the screens cleaned too because the office did not communicate that to them. Not the workers' fault, but the poor communication from the company.

The service was not performed. Scheduled twice and because there were so many issues with the people sent to clean out the garage, I decided it was not what I had purchased and felt as though it was a bait and switch situation. The bad attitude from the older guy did not help the situation. It seems that as soon as I let them into the garage, he was not willing to do anything. I am very unhappy that I wasted my time with this company and do not recommend it to anyone.

It went horrible, the guy has spaces left between tiles, gapes everywhere, uneven and crocked. It looks like I let a 10 year old to do the job. I am attaching pictures below. I had hired another contractor to fix it, they came and had a good laugh that I paid someone to do this to my kitchen. I called and complained, a week later they send a person from the company over to look at the work and told me that the boss will contact me in 24 hrs. 4 Days later I called the boss because no one called me and he said let me call you back in 15 minutes. It has been another 5 days and I have heard nothing. I waited and waited for them to fix it and nothing seems to get done. I had no option left but to leave this review now. I had to let the handyman know that the outlets need to be taken off in order to get a better shape and various other things.

The tech was very professional. Unexpected charges, though for travel and for grout color!

There were multiple issues but the main one was that they were repairing a hole in my drywall. The work was subpar. When asked if it would be obvious there was work done, the worker stated “yes”. I now have to pay someone to repair the work they did! When I sent an email to the boss he basically stated it was beyond their ability and I would have to take it up with Angie’s List.

Couldn’t finish 2 of the 3 tasks. Came back later for additional fee. Had to call them back to correct something.

Good luck getting them to show up. First time it was below freezing so they cancelled 30 minutes before the 10-2 time slot. They knew it would be cold. Second appointment they showed up at 3:45pm. There was no way to clean all the windows before dark, so many of them were not clean. He said he couldn't get them clean as it was the glass. It was a both that the windows had not been cleaned for about 2 years and you can't see if the window is clean in the dark. Rescheduled and he never showed. Tried to get earlier appointment but told as I live so far from them that it couldn't be earlier. Looking at what I can use to get my windows clean. They have chemical cleaning but this was never offered.

Purchased a 2 hour "deal" from this company. Scheduling an appointment via email was very easy. However, the handyman didn't make it within the 2hour window that was given and no one called to give an update. I had to call and find out where he was. The handyman was talking on his phone the whole time, didn't clean up after each task (just left everything all over the floor) and clearly didn't care about his work. We've had lots of skilled handymen over the years, and know that they would have made an attempt to cover up the previous hole in the wall while replacing a toilet paper holder, for example, to make the finished product look nice. He just drilled the new one about an inch below the old hole, instead of trying to make it look nice. Didn't offer to plaster over the old hole (we had all the supplies to do so). With the bookcase, he left out all the washers and I had to tell him to anchor the thing to the wall (this was clearly in a child's bedroom). He looked annoyed when I told him to anchor it. I finally just let him leave 20 minutes early even though I had other things for him to do. Will not hire again and would not recommend to anyone, especially with more complicate tasks. If you do hire them, you'll have to be very specific about what you want done and how you need it to look. They seem to lack some common sense.

The first guys who came were very nice. The primary problem was that they left mold in the area they grouted so it showed clearly through the silicone. Secondly, they weren't careful to apply silicone to all the areas I mentioned. I felt I needed to hover. The company sent another guy to remedy the problems. While very nice, he applied far too much grout. I now need to pay someone else to redo the work.

Gutters were cleaned well. But he used a leaf blower which blew leaves and debris up out of the gutters and onto the ground. He (for the most part) cleaned up the leaves on the sidewalk and driveway. But a good deal of leaves were left in the yard. I had just had my fall cleanup done by my landscaper. Now my side yards in particular are covered with leaves again, and will stay that way until spring unless I rake them myself. Next time I'll hire a service that cleans the gutters by hand and takes the leaves away in garbage bags, like I had used in the past.

Proactively called to schedule service that same day. I was not home but work was done well and no visible remnants of the job were left behind - e.g., leaves, twigs, etc. - they did a nice job cleaning up.

I requested to be contacted and the work be done before Thanksgiving. They called the night before Thanksgiving and came the day after. He came a little earlier than expected (which was nice) however, after he left (my mistake for not checking) I found that out of 12 blinds/shades upstairs 2 were on the floor; one was missing a bolt and the other, I don’t know why. I wasn’t told of any problem. Our kitchen screen was put back in wrong and a number of the windows are streaked.

The service was promoted as clean and organize your garage. But for the price that was advertised, all that was really included was power washing the garage. Organizing, disposing of materials were all extra - and the cost was something like $40/hour extra. No paint cans were removed, they could not move anything heavier than 60 pounds. And when they put back the items that were removed during the power washing, they were just piled on top of each other. He claimed he wiped down all the shelves, but I do not think this was true across the board, as everything was in the exact same place as before. The power washing resulted in things being clean yes - no more cobwebs, etc., but the organization was actually worse than before the service. In the future if I want to clean the garage, I will just rent a power washer. This was not worth $150+

Difficult to communicate. I was never called to schedule; only knew to call when an email was sent to verify that service was provided. I initiated contact was put on hold for 20 minutes the first time I called; then told they would have to check schedule and promised to call back within 5 minutes. I called them the following day after not receiving a phone call and it took another 15 minutes to schedule service. Multiple excuses that they were very busy; essentially called me a liar when I told them I had never received the phone call promised. Never apologized for long wait on hold or problems with scheduling. They were $20 cheaper than previous service; you get what you pay for. 1 person spent 20 minutes blowing out gutters; no clean up which I now have to do myself. Will never use them again and am concerned about continued use of Angies List; am considering canceling membership.
