Description of Work: The cost was a Angie big deal so normally the cost would be more. The young man, Luke, did a very thorough check of my AC, told me what was wrong and what it would cost to fix it. Because our AC unit is very old (26---wish I was) I have decided to replace it with a new one rather than fix the old one.

Description of Work: They installed my furnace -- I had a lemon installed by someone else that they kept fixing and finally they found a great deal to replace it. They do my annual service in the spring and the fall, and they are reasonably priced, punctual and congenial. I had bad experiences with several North Shore companies -- these are by far the best I've encountered.

Description of Work: I got a new furnace installed. They were very competitively priced. Technicians arrived on time. However, I was not happy with the mess they left behind in one of the bathrooms. Also, they forgot a booklet or something inside the blower which caused the furnace to violently shake a week later. I called up their 24x7 support and they were at home within few hours to fix it. Overall good experience.

Description of Work: Came out and diagnosed issue with furnace and offered a repair price. The price quoted was extremely high even for the after hours call. Called another service who fit me in the next day and the final bill was 2/3 less than AIR BLUE HEATING AND COOLING quoted for them to come back the following day during regular business hours.

Description of Work: Bought the twice annual checkup for $109 -- tech came for heating on 11/9/14 -- did check up and as with all these folks, found work that should be done. So we agreed to replace the hot surface ignitor for $130. Who knows whether that was worthwhile. | |Since the checkup and replacement of the HSI, the unit seems to be louder and has a whining sound on startup. Don't know if this came from the replacement or was always there (it's our first heating season in this place). | |Tech also made a note for the office to have contact us about pricing for a humidifier -- have not heard a word about that. So overall it was OK not wonderful as we are left with questions and don't want to pay for a service call.
