Description of Work: We were first greeted with professionalism and creativity. We needed a new furnace but had a unique situation in that our old house had duct work that protruded into the middle of the room and forced us to have soffits that our tall family would run into simply walking into the room. Additionally, since a remodel 10 years ago, we had noticed that different parts of our house were no longer heating or cooling well. We asked AIRBLUE for help with both if these problems and they came through with flying colors. They were able to reconfigure our furnace room to save space (another objective of ours), as well as push the ductwork and low-hanging gas lines to the edges of the room. We were most impressed that they listened to our needs and gave us viable options to get things done without taking the easy way out. Everyone was kind and considerate and unfortunately we rarely find these qualities when working with contractors. We will highly recommend and spread the word. Thank you so much AIRBLUE!!!

Description of Work: they we're hired to do a clean and check of my furnace. The blower wheel was also dirty. I was told it would cost another $100. to clean it. He took it outside, came back and said he couldn't get the water on? Rinsed it with water in my kitchen sink? He put the furnace back together and, surprise, no heat? He gave me a surprised look and said it must be the circuit board. I had already agreed to give him my emergency$100. I had no more money. He couldn't tell how much more it would cost. |Would have to make another appt. He left and came back a few minutes later and said his boss told him to try something else. I turned around and he was melting an dripping solder material on the board. I knew he was making sure that circuit board would not work again.That is why I wouldn't call them back. I have had 1 electrician and 4 furnace people trying to fix whatever he did.I had people every weekend from Sept. working with the stove on. They even had the com. that made the furnace on the phone several times trying to figure out why it kept saying crossed polarity or it wasn't grounded. Everything has been changed including rewire from the electrical box. Finally they looked at a part of the furnace that should not have been bothered,with a clean and check and found where he had crossed the wires. I could not use or get heat in my Chicago condo until the week after Christmas. My guys drove 35 miles each way, some Fridays,Sats. and Mondays. I owe them big time. I have now been told some co.s tell they're workers they can't stay in business if they only charge that $40.-$50.00 for a cleaning. Buyer beware.

Description of Work: Had to replace the impeller in the heat pump for baseboard heating in a 4-flat, plus replace one motor and drain / refill all the lines. They sent someone out the day I called and he finished the work that day, even though he had to drive all over tarnation for the parts and ended up at my place until about 10pm.
