Description of Work: While running my air in my house, I noticed the temperature was not going down, so I bought a coupon for an inspection of my furnace and A/C to diagnosis the problem. Air Blue came out within a few days of me buying the coupon based on my availability. The technician was a running a little late due to having multiple inspections throughout the Chicago-land area that day. It took him approximately 30 minutes to go through his checkpoints and had a list of a few recommendations. He was professional. However, he wasn't able to address the source of my problem other than I had a refrigerant leak at somewhere in my system (this I already knew). He said that it would costs a few hundred dollars to properly diagnosis the source of the leak before the costs of repairs and recommended that based on the age of my equipment I was better served investing into a new system. He quoted me a few prices on systems (Carrier) that he recommended. The quote was a little higher than I anticipated. I was able to purchase a less known name brand product through another vendor at significant savings.

Description of Work: They scheduled the appointment about a week before the appt. and the very day when they were to come they canceled. My appointment was for 4:30, they called at 3:30 and said they did not service my area. I scheduled the appointment over a week in advance. Very un professional.

Description of Work: Called Air Blue to come to my home and inspect the AC and why it was not pushing out cold air. After placing a dye into the system , they were able to determine where the leak was and repair it. My home is nice and cold now!!

Description of Work: We used air blue because they had excellent reviews on Angies List; they lived up to their good reviews. The service person came the same day we called and fixed both air conditioners for a reasonable price. They corrected a problem that had previously been done incorrectly by another service company and they saved us the cost of replacing our air conditioners. The service person, I think his name was John, was courteous and he knew what he was talking about. I believe it is a family business and they did an excellent job. I definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Called in Konrad to inspect and report on a combo HVAC Unit in for a pending condo purchase. Emailed on Sun, called on Mon, he was out on Tues and emailed the report with pictures that afternoon. Needed this to negotiate seller contract terms, as they had not disclosed this needed replacement. Appreciate the quick response and fair estimate. Plan on using Air Blue for replacing the HVAC unit. Bid was fair as usual, and service exemplary.

Description of Work: Couple days ago my furnace went out and I called Air Blue to come and fix it. They were very affordable and arrived on time. They fixed my furnace in couple of hours and I had my heat back on the same day. They talked me through all the repair charges and recommended couple of other changes. They were very professional and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for great service at affordable prices.

Description of Work: I called for air duct cleaning as there was a coupon available on Angie's List. I was quoted $270 for 5 hours of service. I thought that was a bit steep compared to what I've paid before, but the reviews were good...Two guys came out and performed the air duct cleaning in two hours. That didn't surprise me as I have a small house. What irked me was when I went to pay the guy says, "we cleaned your dryer vent, too. That's an extra $30". I said "I didn't ask you to do that" and he said, "ok, no problem". It just bugged me that he put that extra service in without telling me and then wanted an extra 30 bucks.
