As stated above, we were extremely satisfied with this company and would give this company an "A" for the fabulous floor restoration done on our wooden floors. Description of Work: We discovered a water leak in our bathroom, and knew that we were going to need professional assistance. After the plumbers took care of the water leak, we discovered that the water created a lot of damage to our beautiful wooden floors. We decided to use ACR restoration services because of the high ratings it was given by other consumers on Angie's List. Tom Goodwin from ACR showed up at our house very promptly and began his work. Although, our insurance company required that we do everything under the earth to save our floors (the water damage had buckled the floors) before replacing them, Tom explained that the process would be slow. ACR used equipment to dry out the floors, and the machines were actually very noisy. Since this bathroom was located in our main rooms (kitchen & living room), the noise was quite unbearable. However, One and a Half weeks later, the floors did look as they did before the damage. Long story short.......ACR did a fabulous job! They even professionally cleaned the carpeted stairway that leads to the main room (at no cost & without asking for it) for us. If we need any professional service work done or carpet cleaning for that matter, we WILL be calling ACR.

I discovered a leak in a seldom-used bathroom. It has been going long enough to damage the vanity, door, jamb, floor tile grout, and laminate flooring in the hallway. I mopped up the water and closed the faulty valve, then called my insurance company. They called ACR, who came out that same afternoon. They looked at the situation and told me I already had some mold growing under the vanity. They set up a high-powered dehumidifier that got the temperature in the bathroom very high and then left. They returned a few days later, removed the dehumidifier and also removed the vanity and the damaged part of the laminate flooring. When they left, everything was ready for the contractor to come in and look at what work would need to be done. ACR was fast, efficient, and very friendly. They were also very reassuring, telling me that as leaks go, my damage wasn't all that bad. I don't know what the cost was, since it was covered by my insurance company.
Description of Work: Dried out a bathroom following a leak; removed damaged vanity and flooring.

+ -1 moreThey hand cleaned (on premises) my 8 x 4 oriental carpet. I was very pleased with their courtesy and the results of the cleaning. Their had been plenty of pet hair and other "deposits" on the carpet which they were able to address. Also, they were running a sale, so the price was very good.

Flood was cleaned up the following day. They put two giant dehumidifiers and about 10 giant fans to dry carpet up for 2-3 days. They also disinfected and threw out any damaged goods. Came back after a few days and cleaned all carpets to perfection. You would never have known that our basement was underwater.
Description of Work: We had a sump pump failure during a major storm this fall. Flooded our whole basement. ACR came by the nest day and cleaned it all up.
