My experience with them was okay.

I had a 4'x3' hole in my exterior brick due to the removal of an old air conditioning unit which had been wall mounted by the previous home owners.I received an immediate call back, the appointment for estimation was set quickly and the gentleman showed up on time. He gave me a quote on site and followed that up with a written quote. They completed the work within the time they said they would and did a very nice job with getting the grout to as close to the current color as possible...very difficult to do.I rate the $ as a B only because this is the first time I've had masonry work done...it seemed a little high since I supplied the brick, but I have heard that this is one of the more expensive services. They were so pleasant to deal with and I had multiple things going on that I didn't shop around. If they were slightly higher it seemed worth it to me.

Everything was excellent. They were responsive and did everything as promised. Someone was always touching base to make sure we were satisfied. They were clean in their work.

When I contacted AB Edwards for a quote I spoke to Ralph and he came right out to give me the estimate on the work. He provided colors samples for the siding and trim and asked a lot of questions about the work and our expectations. He emailed the inital estimate with the work broken down so we could see what the individual segments would cost. We worked with Ralph over the following weeks to hammer out the specifics such as the siding & trim colors, window brand & model, and other details. Ralph contacted us when the material was ready and he had a crew available to start. The work crew started either on time (8 am?) or ~ 15 min. early and stayed until ~ 6 pm. They cleaned up at the end of every day and the scrap disappeared almost daily. They worked efficiently and with care to detail. Ralph would come by to check on their progress and to answer any questions we had. I found this company on Angie's List along with ~ three others that I obtained bids from. The price from AB Edwards was not the highest but was above the average. I decided on AB Edwards because I felt that they (Ralph) understood exactly what I was looking for during the estimate process because he asked a lot more questions than the others and I believed the price he gave would be a lot closer to my actual cost than the others. I also went with AB Edwards because they could provide the type and brand of siding and windows that I wanted. All in all it was a very good experience and I would hire them again without hesitation. I have recommended AB Edwards to several people already.

Overall our roof looks great. This is a very expensive product not commonly used and AB Edwards helped guide us on color selection and we are thrilled with the result. We had great difficulty finding a roofer that uses this product but were insistent on using it due to the environment it is in(roof also has 50 yr warranty, 100 yr lifespan) They referred us to 2 other properties that have the product installed so we could drive by and check them out. Their price was a little bit higher than competitors but they were the craftsman recommended by DaVinci and they warranty their work on the product for 25 yrs.

Their quote was very competitive, did not cut any corners on their quote, and they were very knowlegeable about synthetic shake. They were punctual with their quote and were responsive and on time during the job. When extra things popped up, they were very fair, and the final product looked great.

I was very impressed by each contact with A.B. Edwards and highly recommend them for their prompt and professional approach, their willingness to listen to what I wanted and not to upsell me on a more extensive job, and the quality of the work itself. The owner of the company prepared a thorough estimate complete with photos of the damage and an electronic sketch of the suggested repairs. My questions on the proposal were addressed the same day in a followup email, complete with information and website links on the products they proposed to use. The repairman was friendly and prompt, and the information about how to use the electronic coil was complete. I appreciated small details in how the wire for the coil was routed in the least conspicuous manner to the closest outlet (and required the installer to literally crawl through a yucky area with lots of spiders!) - this was something I hadn't thought of, and was completed with a high regard to aesthetics. After I paid my bill and completed a brief customer satisfaction survey, I received a well-written thank you note, and I felt very appreciated as a customer. This is a company that really pays attention to the customer satisfaction! I highly recommend them based on my experience.

Called based on Angie's List reports and bcause the company is located in our community. Estimator arrived exactly on time, inspected the roof damage, and gave me a price which was lower than what I expected. Said he could do the repairs immediately and how long it would take. He completed the job quickly and efficiently. I will definite use this company again when the need arises.

It went VERY well, they were always on time and very professional. We had a day in which they were not able to work due to weather conditions and I recieved a phone call that morning explaining why they would not be there and they explained what they had left. They were back the very next day and finished up the project. I would definetely use their services again.

We probably chose them because they were at a good price. We also liked that they were quick and very efficient on the job. We will use this company again if necessary, in the future.

We have had a mysterious, intermittent but persistent leak in our kitchen/family room ceiling over the course of many years. We've had 2 levels of roofing replaced and sealed, new gutters,... yet still the rain managed to come in during rare high-wind downpours. The company that had replaced the gutters last year was out of business, and so our contractor recommended A B Edwards. Andy (the estimator) came out to give us an estimate on possibly sealing/reinforcing the gutters where they join the house (or something?!), but agreed, at my suggestion, to go up on the roof with the garden hose to try to re-create the leak in the house. After pouring water everywhere, we finally figured out that water could come in through the top of where the old wooden window frames joined the new stucco on our exterior walls. Andy suggested capping the window frames w/ aluminum and sealing it to the stucco. He could have easily talked us into new windows too, but said the old windows were not the problem. Since we have been wanting new windows in that area, we decided to replace the windows anyway. The kind I wanted were not readily available, but Andy researched the options, found the perfect windows for us and ordered them. The new windows are much nicer than what I expected. Not only was the work done quickly and cleanly, they worked around my schedule without once making me feel that I was having to fit THEIR schedule. Yolanda, the lady in their office, called to update us on the order, schedule the work, and remind us of the appointments. Also, the other Andy, the craftsman, did a great job and left all the areas, inside and out, cleaner than they were when he started! I was not home during the time he removed our old windows, but by the time I came home to see the new windows, I could hardly believe the old ones were gone with no mess left behind. We were totally happy with the workmanship and everyone's pleasant "can do" attitude and professionalism.

They worked quickly and they had one of the lowest prices. The owner came and explained what they were going to do. They assigned a coordinator that constantly kept in touch with me. They responded to my questions via e-mail. Even though the crew only spoke polish, there was always someone I could communicate with. They were friendly, courteous, and hardworking. I would recommend them.
