Very well. They really focused on doing the work right. When there was a problem that the technician couldn't diagnose they came back the next day with another experienced tech, and they figured it out -- and didn't charge me for the additional visit. Really pleased.

All were done great and efficiently.

Robert came out today to fix a minor issue associated with a previous job done in June. There was no charge since the job is still under warranty. The office always return calls very quickly, but it took a few calls more with the mechanics to get someone come out, I understand, for small jobs like this it really depends on how busy the mechanics are and their location during the day. They came out pretty quickly for the first job they did in June. The team spent a couple of hours putting in new wiring in the family room, fixed a couple of fixtures and outlets. The only thing I wasn't satisfied was they were holding onto the walls with newer paint, so they left dirty palm prints on some areas. They should have been more careful.

It was a great experience. Dan and his staff knew exactly what to do and went about everything in a professional, and personable manor. They moved the electric box into our cabinet (which is now over the microwave), and did a beautiful job with the installation. The two new motors for the bathroom exhaust fans, are working fine! I now have my vacuum at my fingertips rather than having to go up and down the basement steps each time I need it. We are looking forward to no more static electricity arcs when we touch something, or someone with our new humidfier. The tub looks great with our new fixtures, and no drips or leaks. And, last but not least...the disposal wasn't really broke. It needed to be reset So, Dan reset it, then gave it a little " start up" push (inside) and it is now working better than before...and he did it at no charge. Thanks so much, Dan! We are happy with all the work you guys did for us. Also, everything was clean and neat when they were through. It sure was great to have electrical and plumbing expertise all in one provider! We will definitely call upon you again!!!!!

Let me preface this by saying I bought this membership for my mom (who is in her 70's) for Christmas to help her get some of the odds and ends done without having the hassle of dealing with a "typical contractor" She has had her fair share of scumbag contractors that have totally taken advantage of her, which prevented her from wanting to have things fixed. I order some electrical service from DFC to install a doorbell and a few day later I receive an email stating to call Robert to set up a date and time. I couldn't call him back right a way because my father was sent to the ER but a week later I called Robert and was told that they do not go to my city. I found this bazar because when I received the e-mail, it did not tell me that. So Robert said call me back tomorrow at 10 am, which I did and got a voice mail and left a message. The next day, Robert called me and said he would come out next week (the 14th) at of 10 am. I thought that was going to be then end of it until I received another e-mail stating that they do not come to my area and it was a mistake for the ad to say they did, for which they pulled the ad. Lastly, I should call Angie's list and ask them for my money back. Now I am upset over this whole issue of back and forth. I call Angie's list and they refund my money. Then on the 14th, Robert shows up at my mom's house wanting to put the doorbell in. My mom said they were very nice but charged her for 3 hours of labor. She said they didn't get there until 9:50 and left an 12:15 or 12:20 so that would be 2 1/2 hours, and at least 10-15 minutes should have been talking to my mom and understanding what was to be done. The topping on the cake was that these "Professional Electricians" ran the wire outside parallel to the door to the top and then brought the wire inside, instead of running the wire inside from the doorbell...... so now we have a wire running from the top of the door frame down to the doorbell. I am very unhappy of having this wire outside because it looks tacky like someone didn't care how it was done, just that it was done.

They did a great job at no cost for us. They were very thorough & efficient. Highly recommended.

They were on time. Their work was professional and they were done installing the new water hearter and removed the old one in about an hour.

fThere was miscommunication between electrician and me. So the job was done properly. So he had to come over again. That cost me $50 for failing to home inspection. Also the electrician failed to give reasonable estimation of arrival time in traffic peak time. However, at the end, job was done properly. I also appreciate the effort they made to correct mistakes. I will use them in future.

The crew did a great job. They were very meticulous and the roof looks great. The project took a longer than everyone expected but it was handled very professionally. The crew did a GREAT job cleaning up. Mike is great to work with and I will hire DFC if we have any other roofing needs.

A woman answered the phone and was very chatty. She took down all the information and said that someone would be getting back to me within the next business day. I'm still waiting.

it was hard to get together for an an appt. once made the contractor arrived with 2 electrician students and asked if it was OK if they watched. I said OK. They were here for 2 hours and charged me $450 in addition to what I paid for this special, which I think was $89 for 2 hours electrician services. I didn't see what the special was. He charged me extra for parts, however, I do not think the parts that were used were $360 or so. I thought that the special was $89 for 2 hours and I thought the actual charge was not any kind of a special since they charged me so much extra. When the electrician gave me his bill I told him this was a 2 hour coupon special. I don't know how it got to being $450 extra, but I didn't want to argue.

Very difficult to get ahold of them to schedule. Work was complete and the conduit now works. Very difficult to schedule. Attempted to contact and took over a week to get in touch with.

I called DFC to install 2 lights and garbage disposal. Robert came on Monday as scheduled and he looked at the project and quoted me as about $1000. Then they started on the same day after i agreed with the price. During the project, I asked him if he could install the range hood as well. He agreed without mention any additional charge. And after that, he also asked me if i needed him connect the stove to the gas line and if i needed him install the sprayer on the sink. He never mentioned any additional charge. I was very happy he was so helpful. The works they did were professional and nice. However, it didn't go very well. On the first day, they cut the concrete to install the lights. They didn't use a vacuum to minimized the dusts, which triggered the fire alarm of the entire building! It was 12 floors residents building. All the residents were evacuated and the firemen came. Moreover, the second day their truck was towed because of parking at a reserved spot while there were many other available guest parking spots. I had to take them to get their truck back. I was nicely paid the tickets for them since I thought the work was tough to do so this could be tip. What's more, their work was very destructive! They scratched my brand new quartz countertop badly. They scratched my dishwasher as well as my sink. All of them are brand new and scratched terribly by them! Now, this was the most crazy part. After the project done, he wrote me an invoice which is 3300 dollars! More than 3 times than he quoted! Let's look at how crazy it is. He charged me 900 for install a range hood! He charged me 250 to connect stove to the gas line, which took one of their guys 10 mins to finish. He charged me 250 to install the sprayer, another 10-mins job. (My plumber charged me 300 for all the plumbing works in the kitchen). He charge me $200 to connect the garbage disposal, which just requited to connect 2 wires to outlet (10 min job). I am a foreigner and i am not quite familiar with the price but these price are definitely not right! However, when he did the work, he never mentioned any additional charge. We can see Robert planned the scheme very well. I refused to pay firstly. He threatened me if he would call the police and something like that. And he did not leave until i paid 2300. However, think about the damage they did! Think about the 520 towing ticket I paid for them! Think about the fire alarm! How much do you guys think I should pay? I feel sorry for them. They are running the business without integrity, which is the key to successful! Please note: this review will NEVER be removed no matter refund or not. You have my words! I have to tell all other potential customers the truth! And I will continue to update if they decide to make apologies! They did good job with destruction but Please Never trust them on the price! Sign the contract first then start the job; otherwise, you will have the same results as mine! I trusted them so I got this lesson! No need to mention other parts. $250 for connecting stove to the gas line , which took them 10 minutes. Moreover, the worst part is that they scratched my brand new 2000 dollar countertop, which will never be fixed! Think about it!

Robert was professional and prompt, he was able to address all of our electrical issues efficiently and effectively.

I am very happy with the service provided by Robert from DFC Mechanical. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had called him in for a service for repairing my AC unit. He not only fixed the issue; he cleaned up both my units and and tuned them for the summer at no extra cost. He also helped me with the GFCI unit problem in my house. I had replaced 5 GFCI units myself in last 3 years. Robert found the issue with it and fixed it. I hope, I don't have to replace again in next few weeks... I would recommend DFC Mechanical to all my friends for their future Electrical and HVAC service needs.

They came down on the price for me due to being an Angie’s List member. He explained how the generator should work and I appreciated that.

I found Dan, the owner to be very professional and a great pleasure to work with. He was responsive prior to the job and during the job. He was very flexible with the start date of the job as we kept rescheduling because of the weather not warming up. The day we finally scheduled the job his crew showed up an hour late with no call. I texted Dan to see were they where and he was very responsive. As the job went on a larger crew showed up. The crew started up with 2 men and ended with 5. It was very important to me that they finished the same day they started as I did not want to be without heat. To accomplish this they went above and beyond Dan called in more guys to help and they stayed until 9:00 pm that evening to finish. It was amazing. They cam back the next day, again later then the time we agreed upon to finish bleeding the radiators and install the finishes around the kickspace heater. They have been mostly responsive in coming back. It will sometime take 2 calls to get hold of Dan. Once I get in touch with him they are out the next day or two. The one thing I was not happy with was their detail when finishing. In the room they extended the baseboard heat they did not reinstall the trim molding to the wall with any nail or glue. When I reach down and touch it, it falls of the wall. Also in the kitchen where they had to remove molding to install the heater they again did not reinstall the molding with anything. Every time I was dishes and my foot brushes against the molding it comes off. I would recommend them to a friend. I found them knowledgeable, professional and efficient.

The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently to complete the projects, and cleaned up after the work was completed. They were professional and very responsive to our needs.

Robert was on time, and was very good at quickly assessing what needed to be done. He completed the job efficiently and I thought the fee was fair. I will use them again.

I liked the fact that there were two workers, and one was a very experienced technician. They installed a ceiling fan where there was no existing outlet which was a difficult job, but they knew exactly what they were doing. They answered all my questions and let me know what they were doing step by step. They cleaned up everything and even brought their own shop-vac which really impressed me. The four hours was just enough time. I was concerned they might tell me it would be more time than the BD covered but they didn’t. They worked hard to do in the allotted time.
