Her results are always spectatular and draw constant praise. She does this while incorporating likes/dislikes and our personal "stuff" to make it really us. While our homes have often been called "showcases" everyone agrees that they are welcoming, comfortable and easy to live in. Marsha has always been very professional, and easy to work with. Her staff is exceptional which makes the whole experience of a decorating job very easy.

I've heard many horror stories about Interior Designers who charge hefty design fees, and checked her references and interviewed a few prior to hiring her. Once the design fee was paid, she became rude, showing up to appointments late, and then treating me and my home disdainfully. Although I was very specific about what furniture pieces we were keeping, to the point of putting it in writing prior to working with her, it was apparent that "everything needs to go" was her style. When I questioned a selection or indicated that I didn't love it, I was treated with a "take it or leave it" attitude. She actually threw up her hands and indicated she didn't know what to do -- and then returned with a $20000 option to wallpaper my dining room. When I indicated that it was out of the budget, I was threatened with more design fees, and attitude. Her design ideas were not the least bit innovative. Her "discount" on items was 20 to 40% higher than what the same items could be purchased for through a local furniture store and lighting company. The pieces she presented were used over and over -- from one project to the next -- I did not want a cookie cutter approach to my design. We will not be moving forward with this firm. I requested a partial refund of her design fee, and was turned down. I am not looking for any further restitution from this firm, just glad to have the most rude and awful experience ever behind me! Clearly, you can't just a personality by a portfolio.
