They didn't even remove the faucet handle to look at it, but told me they needed to "rebuild" the faucet valve and the price would be $590. We declined, and just paid them the $90 house call charge. Called a second plumber (Stephens, in Downers Grove), and they came out promptly, replaced the faucet cartridge in 20 minutes, and charged us $128.55 in total. Won't be calling Ferrari in the future. We appreciate Ferrari refunding us our house call fee of $90.

Linda was very helpful explaining why they now carry Bradford White rather than Rheem I was replacing. Wes explained the details of the installation. He pointed out a few minor code violations which I asked him to repair. Unfortunately, he was working alone that day since they were very busy due to recent rains. But he worked quickly and left my laundry room cleaner than he found it.

Wes and his apprentice came to replace my primary and secondary sump pumps. Wes took the time to explain everything that he would be doing, also spending a lot of time answering all of my questions. He and his co-worker did a great job, tying down all of the cables, etc. I would highly recommend Ferrari Plumbing.

Wes came out that night (Sunday) after other jobs to replace the pump on an emergency basis. He and James, the young man assisted, were wonderful. Wes explained exactly what needed to be done, and offered suggestions and options including installing a second pump on a battery backup system. Once I gave the go ahead, he replaced the broken pump, installed a new primary, and the secondary with the battery backup. He explained what had been done, how the battery backup worked, and recommended things I should do test the system and ensure it it working properly going forward. It turns out the ejector pump in my mechanical room was broken, and he stayed to replace that as well. The work was done very professionally one can see the quality that he and James put into the installation. They worked until 10:30 pm to get everything working so the remediation company could come the next morning. I would recommend Ferrari without hesitation.

Wes and his helper (sorry I forgot his name) kept me informed as to what was happening. He throughly explained my problem and my options. Showed me the gross pipes he removed. He checked and re-checked before they left to make sure everything was working and dry. I felt comfortable with them in my house and I felt confident that it was getting done right! Oh and I learned where my water shut off valve is... How to turn it off. Very important!! Thanks Wes for a great job

They came when I called them back due to gas still leaking and replaced a second pipe for free on return visit.

Basic installation went pretty well quoted between 1000-1200 for a new water heater. Seemed a bit steep for the adjustment of the venting and piping adjustment to switch from a 40 gallon to a 50 turned out to be an additional 600 bucks. After a couple weeks the water on the hot side was coming out dingy but the cold tap was clear. I called Ferrari back to figure out what was going on as nothing had changed except for the water heater. After coming back out I was told it could have be the anode causing the discoloration as I have a well and the magnesium anode could be causing the discoloration so I had them change out the anode to aluminum for an additional 325 bucks. I was advised that this may not fix the issue which it did not. But the kicker is and I quote " Some people just live with the discolored water from their well.". My old water heater didn't deliver dingy water why would a new one do this? Turns out the water softener/iron filter was partially unplugged where the display lit up but did not regenerate. I had called another plumbing company to try and determine the issue as Ferrari didn't figure it out or even really attempt to diagnose the issue. And advised that I just "live with it"

It went well. Wes explained what he was going to do, showed me that he needed to repair the area and drill new bolt holes and why that was important. He was very efficient and professional. My only negative was that I was promised a 7 A - 9 A service window, and the office called me at exactly 9 A to tell me they were running behind. Wes showed up at 9:42 AM and he was done within 90 minutes. He took the time to demonstrate how solid the new toilet was connected, and he made sure I inspected his work.

Ferrari was very helpful and consultative from the beginning to end. Linda explained where we could go to look at fixtures, to pick out what we wanted, use the Ferrari discount etc. When one of the parts was going to take longer to get in, she went the extra mile to find it at another supplier for us, expediting the delivery, and installation was a day later. Terrific service. Kept me informed and communicated the entire time. Wes performed he work and was prompt, explained everything, and did a great job.

Workmanship was quality and efficient. Price quote with a few discounts was $600 to replace both outside faucet controls. Looks good.

Excellent service. I needed my laundry drain cleared, and couldn't wait through the weekend. My call was answered by a real person (not a recording) who said they could schedule me for mid day. Wes came by and did a great job - efficient, clean, and the drain works better than it ever did.

This is the 3rd time we've had Wes out. He always explains in detail the situation & our options. We also had him take a look at our basement shower unit. He suggested not replacing & just maintaining ( we reseal drain every couple of years). Also, he loosened the cold water handle on the lavatory faucet, no charge ( it was difficult to turn on). He recommended replacing vanity & faucet when the it no longer turns. The wall behind our laundry room tub was soft in a small spot, he said it was not a leak, but splashing from the hose, nothing needed to be fixed. Most laundry room tubs have a back splash, ours doesn't.

Wes was very helpful and educational. I appreciate that he was trying to make sure U understood everything he was trying to tell me. Would definitely use this place again.

The plumber from Ferrari arrived promptly and was friendly and professional. We had a clog in our utility sink, and he quickly cleared it using a drain rooter. If the price had been more reasonable, we would have considered using Ferrari again. The charge was $290 for approximately 30 minutes of work.

Wes was very responsive and also provided a contact for water damage restoration. Wes is great!

I noticed that our ejector pump was going on every minute or so on a rainy Saturday morning. This pump should not have been going on but it was because the he sump pump was not activating. I called Ferrari at 5 in the morning. By 8 their guy was there, he showed me what was happening that was causing the ejector pump to go on instead of the sump pump and then he replaced the old sump pump with a new one. The problem seems to have been solved. They were very responsive, informative, clean and did not charge overtime or weekend fees. I will definitely use them in the future for any climbing needs and I would recommend them to someone else.

Toilet does not flush properly since my hubby repaired inside tank. I called and they had someone at my home the same day. For $95.00 trouble shooting fee, Ferrari plumber and I discussed the problem. He determined it was not a problem in the tank. It might need the drain line augered (for an additional $195.00) or it might be time to replace the toilet ($600-$800 estimate if he installed). He wasn't confident the auger would work, but he kept bringing it up so I chose to try and repair with the 'auger'. I'm not sure what that involves, thankfully, but he closed the door and you could tell he put a lot of effort into the 'auger' because of the amount of noise. Well, that didn't make a difference, so he determined we need to replace the toilet. I'm not thrilled that I payed a "Trouble Shooting" fee of $95 and then had to guess for myself what the right move was. I chose to pay an additional $195.00 on the chance the auger would fix it. The same plumber was here several years ago when we had a plumbing issue, which is why I called Ferrari first.. I'm guessing plumbing isn't an exact science and there's a tremendous amount of guesswork involved in the diagnosis. I just flushed $290.00 on this repair attempt. Price and Quality grade reflects lack of a solid diagnosis that ended up costing quite a bit for a service that didn't make a difference. Otherwise, someone answered their phone right away and I had the serviceman at my door in record time. He was very clear about the pricing. I doubt that I'd use them again. Maybe just for clear problems that I can diagnose myself? They really are very quick to respond.
