This is the second time we've used Jim for a smallish job. He was able to come out the day I called. (No guarantee of that of course!) As before, he was professional, efficient, neat, and friendly...and did great work. We'll definitely hire Jim again for work around the house. Highly recommended.

This is long overdue, I have been using Jim over the past 15 to 20 years now for work on my house. I would recommend Jim for just about any service that I mentioned above. He is very meticulous and takes care to make sure things are done correctly which is important to an anal retentive home owner like myself. I would be have to provide details on all the service he has done over the past decade or so on request.

We were so pleased with Jim's work that we literally kept finding more projects for him. Jim is a perfectionist and it shows in every project he does. He's neat as a pin- cleans up completely at the end of each day - which is something we very much appreciate. He has worked at our house on and off since January and it's now September! He has worked inside and out - done gutters, tuckpointing, garage organization (installed hooks/fixturing ) repaired windows, dryer vents, attic vents and insulation and foundation leaks . He's repaired doors - wooden, metal/glass and garage door. He has given us nothing but the best workmanship and service with each and every project. Jim is honest and trustworthy and his prices are both fair and completely in line with today's going rate for home repairs and remodeling. We would highly recommend Dragonfly Services for literally any project, large or small.

Originally contracted Dragonfly Services to renovate master bath. The work was impeccable - owner Jim Schneider, is a perfectionist like I've never seen before! Another huge plus is that the work areas were left clean and neat at the end of each day. The bathroom turned out so perfectly , we expanded the contract to include another bathroom and laundry room and various tasks from cabinet repairs to closet doors and installing light fixtures. Jim's work is masterful. He is a true artist. He is able to do any job - literally. My husband and I highly recommend Jim Schneider - Dragonfly Services.

Call Dragonfly because since my vinyl siding was installed in 2009, the molding around the outside fell off and it was allowing the weather to get into the cracks of the doors. Also I needed my pipes in the crawlspace insulated. Mr Schneider came out the next day and put on those slippers for the house, I have cream colored carpeting, told me what was needed for the door, then entered my crawlspace, which is not very accessible. He looked at the piping and came out and gave me the $300.00 cost. I said ok and then he needed to go to a hardware store to get the insulation and the molding. He was back within an hour, did the molding and insulation for the front door first, then got back down in the crawlspace and insulated all the piping. He never said anything about the difficulty of maneuvering in the 3 foot high space. Was very professional and since I am disabled, he offered to do other things in the kitchen at a later time. (Like lowering my cupboards)

Jim showed up a little earlier than promised and consulted with me once again about how I wanted the bars mounted. Once doing the work he took no time off but rather had all his tools and materials with him and ready to go. He had estimated about two hours for the job and, in fact, he was cleaned up and ready to leave exactly two hours later. Jim was very professional and cordial through all aspects of this job. I would have no qualms about recommending him to any of my friends.

Jim came out and gave an estimate of the projects and scheduled a time to come out the following week to get the jobs done. He was punctual and worked through our punch list of little jobs. The cost was less than I had imagined. I just wish I would have had these little jobs taken care of years ago!

I reached out to Dragonfly Services last month to do some electrical work on a ceiling fan install. The fan was mis installed from a friend but the technicians at Dragonfly Services were able to fix issue. The services provided by Dragonfly Services are very reasonably priced and the reps are very knowledgable. I would use Dragonfly again in the future.

I had a girlfreind's brother install a ceiling mounting fan/light. As soon as he turned the fan on there where sparks everywhere and the switch for the light and 2 additional outlets didn't work. I kicked myself and hired Dragonfly again. He was out the next day and then had to troubleshoot what happened. The previous guy had hit the hot wire with the mounting screw. Jim found another hot wire he could use and ran another wire to the new dimer switch and rewired the outlets using pigtails that should have been used before. Installed the ceiling fan/light and it worked beautifully. I will call him for my future needs. (He had put in a new floor in the bathroom and remounted the toilet in 2009 before this. My toilet was sinking down and leaking. Called Mr Schneider upon recommendation from a friend. He came out the same week,assessed the damage, explained what needed to be done. He went out to get the supplies needed and came back and tore out all rotted wood. Worked in my crawlspace to make sure the plumbing for toilet was corrected. Put new flooring and mounted toilet higher, with new structure all around so toilet wouldn't sink again. Also installed linoleum floor that was easy to walk on with my crutches. My exhaust fan made a lot of noise but didn't work. The electrical switch needed to be replaced due to overheating and he fixed that and the exhaust fan was replaced. Job well done. He left no mess. Very professional. Will call him again!
