Yes, Best Tiling and Bath the one I used and they were good. My wife handled the price so I don't know about that. Overall the job was nice. They guy was very efficient, very professional and the job was great. The guy was really good. They were good, they were very good, excellent on price. We picked the tile, so everything was nice. Their work was great.

Best Tile responded the day that I called about replacing my kitchen backsplash. I sent them pictures of the area and they promptly sent me an estimate. Although they were very busy, they worked me into their schedule. Steve came out the following week and installed the travertine tile. He did a great job and I would certainly use their services again!

They did great. It's still looking good. I would definitely use them again when the need arose.

From start to finish this was an excellent experience. My first contact was with Andrea who coordinates everything from start to finish. Steve (the owner) came out & surveyed the job. I received a very detailed and prompt quote. It outline the work to be done, the material and labor that were included ... and what wasn't included so there were no surprises later. Andrea told me early on that they had a great "team" ... I figured that was a nice buzzword but soon found out the really have a great TEAM. As soon as I accepted the contract, they put me in touch with the designer they use, Rebecca. And yes her service IS included in the price ... she is part of their team. Rebecca met with us and asked many questions and sent email files with individual items as well as layouts that were extremely helpful. She even spent an afternoon shopping with us! One strong point with Rebecca and the owners is they highly respect your budget. I never felt pressured once to upgrade anything. As a matter of fact I was offered creative ideas to get the look I wanted and stay within budget on areas that could have easily put me over. Dave did a significant part of the job. He was the only person that multi-tasked, doing both the carpentry and plumbing. Dave was / is extremely competent in both areas and made it easy to feel confident the project was in good hands. Next came time for the tile. There were 2 tilers and a helper. One of the tilers was the owner himself who knew his calling; the tile work was impeccable. Instead of pretending to be a Jack-of-all trades, I came to find that they truly have a team of professionals, each with his / her own expertise. Lastly but definitely not least, came Sue the painter. Forget the word prompt .. Sue got up early to get to my house so my daughter could help pick out colors before school. I have no vision what-so-ever, so I asked Sue to pick something out for me. Fours hours later I stopped home on lunch, Sue & her helper had gotten the paint, primed the walls and were laying down color. They were so talented that they cut perfectly straights line and circled door knobs without tape. A short time later I returned home to find they had basically finished and there wasn't a speck of paint anywhere there shouldn't have been. Sue gave the finishing touch to take the perfect re-model and made it a Better Homes & Garden picture. This review sets the bar pretty high and I wanted to cut back a bit because I don't want to set unrealistic expectations setting anyone up for disappointment but the outcome of their combined talents exceeded my expectations.

My experience with them was excellent. They were fast and efficient. The work was excellent. I had no problems. It was a good value for the money.

The owner answered specific questions regarding my unique situation, referred me to other business solutions, told me of her own personal experience, listened carefully to my concerns in a friendly manner and thoughtful manner.

These guys were top shelf from start to finish. I would use them again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone needing these services. I only wish I had heard of them before my project started. They will be provider of choice for my future tiling needs without question. Every aspect of their operation is first rate. Professional, creative, technical, this company has it all!!!

I submitted an earlier review that no one at Best Tile & Bath responded to my request for a quote. Andrea phoned me to explain that there were server email problems and her message never reached me. Although we selected another contractor to complete our bath remodel, I appreciate Andrea's follow-up efforts and explanation. She even offered to compensate me in some way, which was unnecessary but very thoughtful and a show of great customer service.

Best Tile responded right away to my email inquiry, and gave me a quote based on a few photos and measurements I sent them. They wound up coming out the very next week to remove the old tile backsplash in my kitchen, and replaced it with carrara marble subway tile. They also were quick with details on who to contact at The Tile Shop, and even picked up the tile/supplies so we didn't have to. Backsplash looks great, and was so pleased with the quick turnaround and the friendly, quick responses from Andrea.

has completed two of three phases for this job, phase three will be scheduled when we purchase the remaining ceramic materials. To date we are very, very pleased to have worked with this provider. The owner and his nephew came out and they were very courteous and very professional. They were able to accommodate us based on the short time frame we had to get it finished. They did amazing work! We're going to have them come back and install our back splash. Their customer service is out of this world.

Best Tiling was a pleasure to work with. I sent photos of what I wanted to do, we scheduled a time for an estimate and they were very honest about the potential trouble that I could encounter with what I wanted to do. They gave me an estimate which addressed two scenarios, best case and worst case.Fortunately all went perfectly and we were able to do the best case, taking out only the accent and not affect the rest of the tile. It is so beautiful and I am having them back to do replace the floor - new ceramic tile with radiant heat! Can't wait!

Best tile was as good as advertised. Crew does a nice job and came back without any issue to make a few fixes I wanted done. Very professional. Fireplace looks great.

They worked efficiently and completed the job in two visits. Very meticulous about the details. An unexpected crisis caused a slight delay in completion, but no harm was done. The tile looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

I called for an estimate on repairing the cracks in the grout of 5 showers. Although they replied quickly, we were not able to schedule a time for the repairs. I was impressed with their tenacity and am keeping them in mind should I need service in the future.

Steve and his crew were extremely professional. They outlined everything they were going to do and when they would be doing it. They removed the old toilet and sink from the bathroom prior to the demo of the old tile. It took about 2 1/2 days for the demo, subfloor and than the laying of the slate tile in a Versailles pattern. This pattern is very detailed and Steve is very experienced in doing this type of work. An all around fantastic job was done and it was a great consumer experience for me. What can I say? Steve Best and Best Tiling....are the BEST!!!!!

We did a complete bathroom gut using a general contractor. We did not have a high degree of confidence in the general contractor's ability to do a good job on a somewhat complicated tile job for the shower (involving beveled tile, challenging trim to fit a glass enclosure, etc. So using AL, I contacted Best Tile. Andrea was very accommodating of our scheduling needs and they came to measure and give an estimate on a Saturday, into the City, all the way from Wheaton. Very prompt replies by email and phone, even when they were on vacation. Moreover, they helped with tile trim selection that had baffled us for a while and suggested options and patterns that we liked and provided the tile trim without us having to run all over looking for it and not knowing what we were doing. The resulting product is great. They even came back to try to fix the mess the general contractor had made of the floor tile. The solutions offered were very helpful and the finish details made the bath look so much better than it would have if we had let the ham-handed general contractor do the whole thing. I only wish we had had Best Tile do the floor, too. They are not the cheapest by far. However, tile is not something that you want just anyone to do; it's as much art as science, and the ability to provide finish details and straight grout lines and expert advice is essential for a nice look. I would not hesitate to spend the extra money and get a finished product that looks great. I have no doubt that if we had had our general contractor attempt this tile work, we would have been disappointed. Very glad we spent a few extra dollars and got it done right I would not hesitate to use Best again and would recommend to others.

Steve Best and his team did a great job and were very easy to work with. They showed up when they said they would, stayed with the price they quoted me, even though the job ended up being a bit more difficult than initially anticipated, and did a very nice job on the cutting and layout of the design we chose for the tile pattern. Steve was upbeat and optimistic, always communicating how the job was going, when they would be coming back, and in general keeping me posted on how it was coming along. They were great to work with and did a fantastic job. I would definitely hire Best Tiling again and can enthusiastically recommend them.

Salesperson is wife of installer and while very pleasant has little technical knowledge. We wanted epoxy grout; especially for the shower. Is it more expensive? Yes, the material costs increase. In our case it was about $250 because we choose a pebble shower floor and wall niche. Is it harder to work with? Not for a professional installer. Installers need to work faster because of the epoxy set up time which requires at least two helpers... This is why I wanted to hire a professional. I used it in a powder room without any issued but didn't feel comfortable with the master bath. Why epoxy? Because it's bullet proof, no staining and REALLY easy to keep clean. If you are considering a large glass door or steam shower you had better pick epoxy or you will be sorry. Downside for epoxy? None. Quite frankly, their bid of $8,692 for a 8'3" X 7'2" bath and a shower stall was extremely high. Remember, this was for the regular grout. Note, their price didn't include the tile. It did include the shower door and heated floor. The shower door allowance was for $850. We ended up selecting a different contractor that works for a flooring store. They are expert epoxy installers who by the way didn't charge any extra labor for the epoxy. The price ended up being lower but I don't shop merely on price. I want top pf the line materials and workmanship-- otherwise I could do it myself. The contractor offers a 5 year warranty while the store we selected provides a Lifetime Warranty. Of course, it makes a difference that the store we selected has been in business for almost 70 years. We choose a top of the line shower door with clear shield for $1,013 from a separate company.

Steve Best was very professional to work with. He called and showed up when promised. He was patient and worked with us during a death in our family when we needed to postpone construction for a short time. We reused some granite we had removed from a kitchen remodel for our vanity top, and Steve worked the schedule around our granite fabricator. He also worked with us around the tasks that we wanted to complete ourselves (other contractors we contacted would not do this). He assisted us in obtaining additional tile when we ran short. Steve's crew consisted of Alex who did the majority of the tile installation and David who handled the plumbing. Both were professional and clean. They did not smoke on my property or leave trash anywhere. They hung plastic in the doorway to keep the dust down and also laid drop cloths on the floor to protect it. They both showed up when promised. Steve was always in contact with me. The quality of the tile work is excellent. We are very happy with the result. Steve also recommended a painter and glass company for our shower door. We accepted both recommendations and were happy with the work those companies performed as well.

Wow! We've held off on this kitchen renovation for 5 years and finally put things in motion this year. Steve and his crew were amazing to work with. They were highly professional and courteous and truly listened to our vision of the kitchen. In addition to the backspash work, we combined a project of glass tile around the fire place. His guys left the work area spotless each day (a major pet peeve of mine with other contractors). Steve's attention to detail is on display everytime we walk into our kitchen. Now we're shopping for tile for our next project.....the master bathroom. Thanks again Steve!!!

I contacted them regarding a bathroom quote. Someone came out as scheduled to go over the project. A quote was never provided. I did follow up, but never received a response I will edit my review to saw that after my initial review was posted, Andrea contacted me to sincerely apologize for not responding with a quote. I am impressed by their professionalism and would contact Best Tiling for future projects.

After our basement flooded from a sump pump failure, we ripped out all of the carpet and decided we wanted to tile. I called Andrea back in April and Steve came out to give us a quote. We scheduled our installation dates and then a few weeks later we realized we were still getting water. Andrea was very kind and sympathetic with our need to post pone the job until we ensured all of our issues were figured out. About mid-July we contacted Andrea again to reschedule and she was able to get us in within a couple weeks. I actually had to push it out further to make it fit with my personal schedule. They held to their original price quote. Alex and Steve did the work and did a fabulous job. We ordered our own tile based on quantities they provided. They were right on with their estimates. Both Steve and Alex were very friendly and professional, and made an effort to keep my house clean. The job ran one day over from what they originally told me but they knew this midway through the job and gave me the forewarning. They worked around my schedule for the final day since i hadn't arranged to have the day off and because of our dog at home, we couldn't have them come without someone being present. They both were very friendly towards my dog but we were just worried about them going in and out of the house and the dog getting out. Our only comments after the fact are that we noticed the grout coloring isn't consistent throughout which I read is a common issue. I think it looks great anyways and blends well. And some of the buckets were dumped along our fence line and into our rock landscaping. The fence has the white coloring now but I'm sure it can get hosed off (haven't tried yet) and I had to pick out all of the dried up grout pieces from within our landscaping (stood out among the rocks). Overall Best Tiling was great and I would use them again and recommend them to others. Everyone we dealt with was very kind and professional.

We did a complete master bathroom remodel earlier this year. We had a very clear vision of how we wanted our bathroom to look and got a few proposals before deciding to work with Best Tiling. Our master bathroom was very chopped up and dated and we wanted to open it up and design a large walk-in, door-less shower as the focal point. Andrea and Steve really listened to our ideas and truly delivered our vision! Our master bathroom looks amazing! Throughout the process, we got unbelievable customer service. We always knew beforehand what the schedule for the upcoming week would be, workers always showed up on time and were professional and courteous. After waiting nearly eight years to undertake this project, we are so pleased with the finished project. Every day we walk into our bathroom, it feels like we are staying at a luxurious hotel. We intend to use Best Tiling to remodel our other bathroom, too.
