It was great. I contacted Andy on Sunday, heard back early on Monday morning and provided an estimate, and came out on Tuesday. He was on time, talked me through everything and gave plenty of options, and got everything done quickly. Everything looks great and is working properly, and he was at the low end of his estimate (actually technically lower). I highly recommend them.

Andy and his dad did an excellent job. Andy is a a skillful electrician and was able to install lighting in our vaulted ceiling when other contractors weren't sure how to do it. His installation technique didn't cause much patching and repainting. AGC was respectful of our home, was punctual and a high-quality contractor. AGCs pricing was very fair for the amount of work completed. I have already recommended them to two other people and look forward to working with Andy in the future.

I called a week a go and Andy came out a few days later to see what needed to be done. He returned a week later and completed all the work in about 30 minutes. He did call ahead of time to let me know he was on the way.

Andy was very professional with the workmanship of the job, very quick, and his pricing is reasonable. Communication was good, and I found texting to be more efficient. AGC will be my go-to electrical contractor for any new work needed at my home!

The whole project went very smooth starting with a quick fix of an outlet completed on the spot at no charge while preparing the estimate.

He completed the job in 1.5 hours.Very punctual. Called half an hour before arriving to inform that he was on his way and would be at the premises at this time. Knowledgeable. He was able to correct the electrical and installation Mistakes done by my contractor. Professional and courteous.

Andy arrived exactly when he said he would. He immediately replaced the switch and explained to me what was wrong with the old one. I also asked him to check my overhead fluorescent kitchen light as it would not always go on. He looked at that light and diagnosed that the connection to the bulb wasn't very good. He cleaned up the connection and now the light works perfectly. He did not even charge me for that extra on-the-fly light issue.

I attempted to split two wall switches that controlled two lights. When you flipped one or the other both lights came on. One in the front foyer and one in a hallway off the kitchen. There was no sense in both of them burning at the same time. I tried numerous times to correct the problem, but to no avail other than creating some new swear words! I spent hours on the project. I finally gave up and called the MAN. My second problem was my ceiling fan. It only had an on/off switch for the light. I figured another wire would have to be run through the ceiling for fan control. Adrian installed a module into the fan canopy that would allow the new switch control both the fan and light without having to run a separate wire through the ceiling. Both jobs were finished in 45 minutes! If you need electrical work done at a great price, this is the company to use. I know I will.

I usually do not write reviews but Andy was so good that I wanted to share this experience. Thumbs up on everything - right from initial phone conversation, to agreeing to come on a weekend as I was in a time crunch, arriving on time, covering up everything nicely and getting the job done professionally. Very nice Andy!!

AGC Electric replaced our electrical panel. From start to finish, they were great to work with -- friendly and efficient. The quality of their work appears to be excellent as well. I will hire them again without reservation.

I called at 5:26 PM (they close at 5 PM) expecting to leave a voice mail message. Andy answered the phone and was able to stop by in a half hour. It was less than 30 minutes when he arrived. (We do live in Wheaton, the same town as his company.) He was very nice, shook my hand and got on his way to the electrical panel in the basement after I went over a short summary of the issue. Turns out we just needed a bad breaker replaced. Easy peasy. He was quick and efficient. He also noticed, though, that there was a lot of cold air coming in to the panel and saw that the pipe with the electrical wires in it that runs to the outside was open. Since the condensation could damage the electrical wires, he puttied it up and was on his way. Showed me a picture of the pipe on his phone so I could get a good look. After a horrendous experience with A-Plus Electric a few years ago (that would be a scathing two page review of agony), I never thought I would trust an electrician again. I'll be giving out Andy and AGC's name to anyone who asks me about electricians from here on out.

Showed up for estimate exactly on time. Very fair estimate and completed all work on time and on schedule. Very high quality work and excellent communications on arrival time and work plan, and what he found while inspecting the electrical. Andy and Adrian both worked on the job and both were excellent. As a result of this job, I have used them at other family residences, and the whole family now views them as " our electricians". Great to have an important electrician you can count on.

Andy and Adrian made what I thought would be a complicated project go more smoothly than I could have imagined. They were prompt with their proposal, followed up via email and were always prompt when they came to my house. They coordinated the required inspections and service disconnects with the City and finished the project faster than I anticipated. They were very professional and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use them again.

Andy and his father are skilled, well-mannered professionals. They were always punctual and completed the work according to their time and cost estimates. Andy explained what was needed and any options that were available. He was very thorough, including getting whatever permits were necessary. I appreciate not only the quality of work that was provided, but also the manner in which it was done. I wish all contractors could do a great job and be so courteous!!!!

I called AGC this morning and was told they were in the area and could come out this afternoon. I didn't get his name, but I believe he was the father of the owner, a very pleasant man. He arrived when he said he would, took his shoes off at the door, and went to work. He was here about an hour and fixed and replaced what was needed.

This house is over 100 years old. Electricians used to hang up on me when they heard the age the house and the spaghetti wiring done over the decades. Andy came in found the short, fixed it, vacuumed up and was on his way. No drama just action. Thanks again.

Overall he did an excellent job! He was very nice, and he responded very quickly. He was unbelievably awesome!

Completely outstanding. On time with estimate and all work. Extremely professional. One of the best service providers I have used. Have referred him to family, and they have now had work done with Andy.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We have 17.7' vaulted ceilings in our living room, with two fans at the top of the vault. Some of the estimates we received for removing the old fans and installing new ones were astronomical. Andy actually came out to the house to get a look at our living room and to measure the ceiling height (the other estimates were given over the phone). On the date of service, the two-man team arrived on time. They were considerate of my floors, putting down drop cloths under the ladder. They worked quickly and safely, and cleaned up afterward. We will definitely be hiring them in the future to replace the lightning fixture in our dining area, as well as for any other electrical needs we may have.
