Plain and Posh

We were delighted to find that Stephanie Frees listens her clients. She is very knowledgeable and worked very hard to provide us with an excellent design that met our needs for function and our wishes for appearance. We completely gutted both rooms which were nearly 30 years old and woefully dated and almost non-functional. She listened to what we wanted to have, and worked with us all the way to design a lovely kitchen that is also very functional. She has a wide choice of cabinet styles and price ranges available, and she worked with us to give us fine quality at a fair price. Stephanie gave us everything that we wanted, and made great suggestions that made our kitchen even better. Same thing in the Master Bath. We also stripped this room to the bare floors and walls, and now we have a very nice space with large functional cabinets that is wonderfully functional and pretty to be in. We chose to not replace the useless tub, and we didn't want to spend the money to rebuild walls and move plumbing fixtures. Working with these restrictions didn't seem to phase Stephanie at all, and the results were completely satisfactory. She also works with vendors and manufacturers to provide a wide variety of appliances, floor, and wall treatments and passes along her designed discounts which saved us a lot of money and allowed us to upgrade some things fora reasonable cost. We were completely satisfied with everything she accomplished for us, and we highly recommend Plain and Posh for Kitchen and Bath design and cabinets.

Stephanie Frees of Plain and Posh was recommended to us by a local business as being a very professional, yet reasonably priced kitchen remodeling designer and cabinet representative. We found this to be very accurate. She was up front about everything, and provided us with a detailed written quote covering all costs, charges, and fees for both design services and cabinetry. She was sensitive to our budget and didn't try to sell us things we didn't want or need. She proved to be an excellent designer, which is obviously a result of her years of experience in this area, along with a real sense for what makes a kitchen special in a home. She was able to take a very small space in a squarish 1950's sized kitchen with space wasted by soffits, and created tons more usable space, along with a properly sized island that is as beautiful as it is practical for daily activities. Stephanie worked very well with the contractor we hired to do the installation of the cabinets. She also timed the delivery of all the materials just right so that everything was here when needed for installation and was even present for the delivery from the cabinet factory to insure everything that came in was just as ordered. After the installation she was extremely prompt in obtaining a couple replacement doors that were slightly warped. This was 10 months ago and am please to report we enjoy the kitchen more each day and would highly recommend Plain and Posh.
