Extremely well. Herb checked various options for the best placement of the outlet, based on access to Stairlift for charging, best access to electricity et al. He worked steadily, doing a great job, clearly explaining what was being done as he went along. Despite using a tarp, he even vacuumed the area, using the new outlet., He also replaced a part in our coachlight. It had been changed from gas to electric, but there was a problem with a wire which caused the light to stop working.. He assessed Coachlights on the porch as well as two on the garage and made recommendations for future options. Excellent job. Based on this experience, I highly recommend and will definitely use Oakwood Electric for future electrical issues.

They were extremely professional and explained things to me every step of the way which was extremely helpful to me as I know my house is now up to code and was done the right way. It was reasonably priced too. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work!!

We had a 1925 dungeon-like basement with almost 100-year old wiring, and we knew that bringing it into this century would be a challenge. We didn't want a one-man operation--we wanted a company with a great reputation with electricians who could do the job efficiently and professionally. We're so happy we chose Oakwood Electric--their electricians spent almost 4 days at our house removing old wiring and replacing everything with new wiring that's up to code. They worked with us throughout the project to make sure we understood all aspects of what they were doing and why. They were all very personable and approachable as well as knowledgeable, which makes a difference when you have questions or concerns. Homeowners all have a list of "go-to" companies for home maintenance, and we've added Oakwood Electric to our list for future electrical projects!

Work was done methodically and professionally. They discovered the issue in a reasonable amount of time and fixed it. Very happy with this company. I would for sure use them again and recommend them.

Working with Oakwood was awesome. I'm a new homeowner and had a few electrical issues popping up in our first couple of weeks in the home, including tripping breakers from overloaded circuits. The guys who came out were super professional, and took time to answer all my questions/explain exactly what they were doing. All the work was done well, and they even called in a couple of extra guys at the end of the day to make sure all the work was done in 1 day - and still came in under their estimate.

Herb was very knowledgeable and professional, and got the work done quickly. I am very impressed.

The two man crew arrived on time and was finished with the installation and their review of the system operation with me around 6 1/2 hours later. The crew was polite and did a very clean installation. I made sure that they had a clear work area and on my own I did some minor prep. work which helped them a little with their installation. I felt comfortable enough with them that I even left them alone in my house while I ran some errands.

They do excellent work, and over the years I have been very satisfied.

Our experience with Oakwood Electric was excellent. They were able to schedule the work just three days after we received an estimate. We had several interior light fixtures replaced, all of the outlet covers updated and a new panel added to the fuse box to accommodate an electric dryer. Alex and Josh were always very prompt and completed the job ahead of schedule even though we asked them to do more than what was originally planned. They were also very clean and vacuumed up after finishing. I would definitely recommend Oakwood Electric.

Top notch electrical service provider. Outstanding service from the point of contact through completion of the work. The servicing electrician was not only focused on doing quality work, but also on insuring customer satisfaction. He explained everything thoroughly prior to starting and walked through work done at the end of the job. He also insured that I tested the outlet once the work was completed. I would not hesitate to utilize Oakwood for future electrical work.

Alex was on time. He was very thorough in finding the problem. He identified the problem, and promptly ordered the part. They called me immediately when the part cwas in and were out the next day to fix it. Alex made sure everything was working properly before he left.

They were very good and professional. They showed up on time. The gentleman that came out to do the work was very courteous of our entry way and the space he had to work. He was very clean, cleaned up after himself and worked pretty efficiently as well. I'd give them "A's" across the board and I'd use them again.

Both the sales transaction and the installation went very smoothly. Everyone was very professional and the installers were extremely clean and neat. No short cuts. Took the time to fully explain the generator to us. A blue ribbon company!

Installation was handled very well with all checks and balances performed. This is a major project and it was done very much to my satisfaction. Each year since installing, they perform maintenance and their review on the system, provided in writing, is very clear. Only issue in past was phone responsiveness. They now have an answering service which is fine.
