Company requires half of materiels ( cabinet ) monies up front, then other half upon delivery. Installation fee was to be paid upon completion and satisfaction of project. With half of kitchen installation completed, incorrect size cabinet was installed. Installer then was insisting on charging us again to re-order correct cabinet and factory damaged pieces and insisted on accruing storage fee until picked up. We refused. Luxe Showrooms then blocked us from ordering pieces from manufacturer through another distributor. We had a very cood cabinet maker duplicate cabinet and pieces and complete installation to our complete satisfaction. Small claims court with Luxe. They paid a settlement. We would NEVER reccomend them to anyone after being treated that way. The first two sentences of the response from Luxe are true, after that..not so much.
Description of Work: Created final design for kitchen remodel. Ordered kitchen cabinets. Installed some of them.

Luxe Showroom has been in the remodeling and construction business for over 17 years. Our payment policy follows practices standard across the industry. The cabinet ordered was not in fact an incorrect size, but the appropriate cabinet specified by the manufacturer to fit the client’s microwave. As with all our clients, we reviewed the cabinet order and requested signed approval. After receiving the cabinet, the client was unhappy with the size he originally approved and requested a new cabinet with different specifications. We advised against this as the cabinet would not be to code and could potentially be hazardous. The first cabinet ordered was the appropriate size by code for his microwave. Against our advice, the client requested a new cabinet be ordered. Unfortunately when the new cabinet arrived he did not want to pay for the replacement cabinet. He refused the cabinet and was unsuccessful when he attempted to order direct from the manufacturer. Despite the client’s belief that we blocked the order, that was not the case. The manufacturer simply does not sell direct to the customer. Luxe Showroom created a beautiful kitchen and we certainly hope that he enjoys the space for years to come.
