+ -1 moreAviv is also a professional appraiser, so I was happy to have him do a sort of all around appraisal of the house in order to find problems we were not aware of. I did not know that the window grates were locked. I was relieved to get a clean bill of health for my house after he fixed whatever needed fixing. He also recommended a few things we should do, that we will have to do anyway when we want to sell the house. I never had a handyman who was qualified to help us in this way, and felt really reassured that he knew what he was doing.
Description of Work: Repaired the inside crack in foundation that caused flooding, insulated, put up new dry-wall and painted. Checked all around basement, in crawl space and outside for signs of water, epoxy small cracks and installed fan and lighting in two rooms. Repaired broken gutter. Repaired torn screen in 8ft sliding door. Checked attic for mold and added more insulation. Broke open rusted locks on window grates that were (unknown to us) not supposed to be locked because no one could get out in an emergency. Removed rust and sprayed on several layers of rust proof something and paint. Cleaned 12 years of debris from those 4 window wells including the windows. Made sure all windows are easily opened.
