Description of Work: I already filled out all this info a year ago. they put in 2 separate standalone A/C units = electrical wiring , plumbing, hardware, testing, etc. very pleased.

+ -1 moreThe instructions for the 2 AC units provided by vendor were not the best but Tom and his HVAC technician Ron figured out how to install all the components. Post installation, both units work beautifully and cool better than expected. Also, they are quieter than anticipated. Shinco is a new AC vendor for the midwest and so there are not other installers to contact for advice. Also, Shinco does not provide electrical harness for the units and it takes skill and experience to figure out the wiring. Tom and Ron and their helper Colin did an excellent job. They were polite, professional and a true pleasure to know. I heartily recommend them for any electrical and/or HVAC need. The Shinco units are probably the best value in ductless AC that i have found on researching them for the past 3 years - but as a relatively new Asian product in the US, technical support is scarce and measurements are mostly in metric. Neither were problems and Tom and Ron handled the install beautifully.
Description of Work: My home is a classic 1920s Craftsmen bungalow with radiant heating. I wanted to use ductless mini-split AC systems to cool two zones in the house: front LR & DR and back kitchen, den areas. I purchased two new 12,000 BTU Shinco Mini Split Ductless Air Conditioner systems on line from a Florida distributor. The inside cooler units needed to be mounted near ceiling but in such a way as to avoid crown molding, window trim, etc. I hired Tom Liebich, president of Enlighten Electrical, to provide both electrical and HVAC installation services for the 2 units that would satisfy warranty reqs for the 2 systems. Each consisted of an outside condensor plus an inside cooler/evaporator, and required both a certified HVAC technician to install dual insulated copper cooling lines, drain, condensor support mount plus an electrician to add 2 separate 220V electrical lines + control box + electrical wiring from condensor to cooling unit. Tom's company provided both services.
