Melissa, our designer, was excellent. She had wonderful ideas and gave us lots of options. The landscaping turned out beautifully. The crew supervisor was also very professional and helpful. However we had two significant issues with Coventry. First, we were told there was a 1 year guarantee on the perennials. I specifically asked if we should wait until the next spring to plant, but was told it was fine to plant in August/September as long as we watered properly. The next spring many of the perennials didn't make it, and I asked that they be replaced per the guarantee. I was told that they would only credit me for half the value of the lost plants despite the fact that it wasn't my fault those plants didn't make it through the winter. I was never given a satisfactory reason why. Second, the next spring Coventry planted several hundred dollars worth of annuals, a significant portion of which had some kind of visible disease. I asked that they be replaced but was told that the disease wouldn't kill the annuals and that they would eventually look fine. But the annuals looked terrible for months, and even when they started looking better they never grew to their full size. I asked for a partial refund since I didn't get the full value of the annuals but no one ever responded. Coventry was quite expensive, but I would have been willing to continue to pay for their services because I thought their employees were very talented. But their unwillingness to stand behind their products made me unwilling to ever do business with them again.

They know what the kind of landscaping I am looking for and they execute it well. My garden looks good. They are responsive and are on top of things. They tell you things that I need to do. They are very conscientious. They are very detail oriented. They care very much about their designs. They are very professional and do a great job.
