Accu-Dry Waterproofing & Concrete Pumping

This was a dirty, messy, 2-day project. Crew preparation and clean up could have been better planned and executed. Lot of clean up required on my part. Crawlspace surface looks great and I am pleased with the project.

The service call went very well and we were pleased with the service. The only issue we had was scheduling the repairs. In defense of Accu-Dry it had been raining a great deal so the demand was very high. They did their best to accommodate us.

Experienced, hard working and courteous crew showed up on time each day and left our basement free of debris and swept clean at end of job. Margaret was great to deal with for scheduling and Dave (owner) took the time to answer all my questions and explain scope of work in detail.

They were on time. Did the repair well and cleaned up after they were done. I had coupon so got discount on wall crack. I added repair to area where water line comes through wall so had to pay for that.

I contacted the company on the 9th using the coupon on Angie's list. They were to come out by the end of the week. They did not come and when contacted on Friday, the 11th said they would be out for sure the beginning of the following week. My house was closing at the end of the week and the work needed to be done. Over that weekend we had very bad rain and by Tuesday of that week I called them and they said they couldn't make it at all. Now trying to find someone else with such short notice has been awful! They really put me in a bad situation. I finally found someone today who said he would come tonight. I pray he does because I have run out of time.

The process went well. They guy came in and did his job. I would recommend these guys.

Realized issue was not resulting from crack. Margaret at the company was very understanding and friendly.

I didn't see the fine print, so I couldn't use the deal. Getting it refunded. They were nothing but professional and pleasant.

He looked over our situation and was honest about not seeing where the water was coming from. He gave us ideas regarding what we needed to watch to determine the cause. As he was exploring, he discovered that our water heater was leaking from the top and dripping down the side. It was on the back side and barely visible. He did not charge us for the visit and time and told us to contact a plumber to determine the exact cause. If that did not fix the problem, he was willing to look further into the our situation. it was well worth the wait to have our appointment as we had taken apart wall board per others who had looked at our problem. Margaret in the office was also extremely nice on the phone and worked us into the schedule as soon as possible. Our neighbors had recommended Accu-Dry prior to also checking in out on Angie's list. He came highly recommended by both and we would definitely agree.

Dave showed up at my house at 6:15 p.m. on May 27! He took a look at the window well and he did not quote me on some huge basement waterproofing project. He explained the problem, gave me a very cost-effective option that he could do for me (basically routing a pipe from the window well, through the foundation wall and directing it to my sump pump), but he said that would not be his ideal solution. He then explained that we really just needed to dig a trench and install a drainage pipe that routed to the back yard to stop the flow of water coming toward the house. We have done that type of project ourselves in the past, and Dave highly recommended that we just DIY it this time to save ourselves time and money. I also had him look at another, less urgent, area of seepage in the basement. He again explained what Accu-Dry could do for us and gave me a general idea of cost since we are not ready to tackle that issue at this moment. He agreed that it didn't seem to present an issue that needed immediate attention. Dave was knowledgeable, professional and understood the challenges of our very old house. I appreciated his honest approach in giving me solutions that we could do ourselves. Even though Accu-Dry couldn't do the drainage trench for us, I would certainly call them to do the other drainage tile project in our basement when it is time for that project. I am confident that Accu-Dry could handle any basement waterproofing issue.

Eddie, an employee of Accu-Dry came on time. Prior to his coming, I was informed via phone of Eddie's status and when he would arrive. I was pleased. Eddie worked on the foundation and did a meticulous job. The foundation wall looks great and he picked up after himself. He was on task and did the job in an hour and a half. Margaret, a staff person from the office, was always accessible and on occasion when I got the voice service, she returned the call within less than an hour. You can't ask for service better than that!

It was easy getting in touch to schedule, the technician was very professional and punctual, and he was thorough in his attempt to find the leak which included cutting through drywall and insulation. They also did a good job of cleaning up after this. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to locate the leak and could only speculate that it was behind the tiles in my bathroom. Ultimately, he will have to come back later to attempt to locate the leak.

Cement crawl space, seal leaks in foundation. They were on time and very quick. Would recommend.

This was an enormous project requiring extensive labor and overall it was successful. Cleanliness and clean up could have been better but by same token this was a very dirty project.

Costs were in line with estimate, prompt and effecient. Problem areas taken care of.

This is a hard review to do. Provider claims never to have received Angie's List messages. Angie's List says no problems in that area. I can only review what I know for sure. If I rated only the Angie's List messages I would grade as F for zero replies. If I rated only on the email I sent directly I would grade as A for less than 1 day response time. Usually combining grades would result in C but Provider claims never to have received messages from AL so offering benefit of doubt I gave a B. In any case I believe some conversation between AL and Provider is warranted to determine what needs fixing so Angie's List messages can receive same great response time as emails sent to address listed on Provider's web site.

Excellent experience -- from first contact, through estimate, repairs, and clean-up. These folks really know their stuff when it comes to basements and crawl spaces. They repaired foundation wall cracks with epoxy, and foundation cove leaks with fiber mesh and concrete. Another potential provider with which we checked didn't even offer the cove leak expertise. We are now very comfortable that all our foundation, basement, and crawl space issues are solved for now and the future. Lifetime guarantee. I recommend highly.

Job went very well, the crew showed up on time and was very courteous, they cleaned up and finished in a day as promised.

Work was done efficiently and professionally. Would use them again.

I feel once he heard that I was getting others estimate, he was not too thrilled and started to sounded a big uncertain about coming out althrough we set a date and time ( June 17, 2013 ) on phone. On day of appointment, he did just no show (and no call). When I called, was told he was too busy, I should just find another contractor to look into my situation. I would not have minded if he just flat out told me on the initial appointment phone call that he was too busy. To just did a not show is not acceptable. I am baffled at how he got so many A ratings. It certainly is no an 'A' in my book.

I was thoroughly impressed with this company and will certainly consider using them in the future. They are crazy busy right now b/c of all the local flooding, so while I would really like them to do some immediate stuff, they really can't fit that type of work in right now. He made suggestions for other types of contractors that would be able to get to our more immediate needs (sump lines blocked and not draining correctly) more quickly than he can right now. There was no hard sell - he was honest with us that you can all the waterproofing in the world but when you have water that deep around the house nothing's going to stop it coming in. He gave us a quote but was of the opinion that we may not truly need it, but if we ever decided we wanted to, then we knew what we were looking at. Just very impressed that he came out at 730 on a Friday night and didn't try to sell us on something we didn't necessarily need/want.

The inspection and application visit went smoothly, but shortly after, an unusually hard rain revealed that one of the 5 filled cracks leaked. I reported this, and it was promptly reworked. I have not noticed any further leakage, but there have been no more rains of the magnitude that had caused local flooding. I recommend their work.

We just purchased a home with a crawlspace that had a gravel floor. We knew we needed to have some concrete work done to eliminate some of the dampness. Called AccuDry and Dave quickly came by to give us an estimate. The price was reasonable so we gave the go ahead. They were able to complete the work the next week. They found a couple of cracks in the foundation which were repaired and the the concrete floor was completed in one day. We really appreciated that Dave stopped by while the work was being done to make sure everything was going well. Approximately one week after the work was done, we had all the heavy rain and huge flooding problems in our town. But we had absolutely NO water in our crawl. Not one single drop. I can't think of a better recommendation than that! And now I can happily store anything down in the crawlspace with no worries. Quality work from a great company!

The whole experiance was good and we hope that this work will lower what ever radon we have, eliminate odors and dampness, as well as improving the sump pump operation. All the work was done as scheduled without any problems. Dave was very helpful in going over the proposed work and making suggestions about the various solutions for other crawlspace problems. It is amazing the improvement the concrete made in our house. No more odors! Wish we had done this years ago.
