Service was very professional and effective. We had a deal for 3 rooms then added the stairs and hall for a very reasonable fee.

So far, they have been friendly, professional, and nice to work with.

I had bought the big deal, and scheduling was very easy. The technician arrived right on time, and called when they were close. They used the type of carpet cleaning where the machine was actually in the truck and tubing is run from the curb into the house and in my experience this works better then when a company uses smaller machines inside the house. The cleaning of all the carpets was done in about an hour and everything looked great! The technician was very honest about the few spots that he was unable to get out and also gave me suggestions about how to keep the carpets looking good between cleanings. Over a month later, we haven't had any of the spots "mysteriously" re-appear, which often happens when carpets are cleaned.

The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy to set up the appointment and use the Angie's List deal. The owner explained that I'd have to pay a modest additional charge since I was out of their service area. The technician came as scheduled and gave me a follow-up call to apologize for not being able to remove one stain despite repeated efforts. The one slight negative in my experience is that the technician was extraordinarily aggressive in asking me to pay the travel charge.

We had a very good experience. The technician arrived arrived on time, surveyed the home, explained what he would do, and got to work. He was both efficient and thorough, and the carpets look great. We used an Angie's list deal that covered most of the home and paid a little extra to have the basement carpet cleaned too. For the price and quality of service, we would definitely use A Day and Night again if the opportunity comes.

I first had an appointment scheduled and literally had to cancel at the last minute. They were very understanding about the situation. When I rescheduled they were very nice and got me in within a few days. Chris arrived right on time and did all of the measureing. He then gave me the cost of everything and explained all of the charges. He got to work right away and did a great job. He got out the majority of all of the stains. We had just moved into the house and the carpet was extremely dirty. I was thinking before he came that we were going to have to replace the carpeting. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well the carpet cleaned up. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

They explained to me about work that needed to be done. I did not have to move any furniture. They put in extra cleaner on my carpet, and were able to get stains out that I thought could not be removed. They listened to me about where work needed to be done. They were in and out in about half an hour. It took two to four hours for everything to dry. It dried up very well. They made sure I checked everything before they left.

Eric arrived on time at about 9 a.m. and went to work immediately. He was very courteous and thorough. There were a couple spots that required extra effort to get clean, and he explained what he was doing and why. The entire job did not take very long. He did not have a lot of furniture to move in the great room and living room, and in the master bedroom, it was really impossible to move most of the furniture. In that case, he went under the furniture with a long wand to do the cleaning. Wherever there was furniture that might be damaged by sitting on the damp carpeting, he place foam pieces under the furniture to protect it from the dampness. After cleaning the 5x7 synthetic rug, Eric placed it on the patio for it to dry. I only have two comments that are perhaps warnings to others. First, there is a $15 travel charge for service outside of their area. They are based in Westmont, and I believe Eric said the charge applied to travel beyond 15 miles. Second, the estimate Eric gave for the length of time it would take for the carpeting to be mostly dry was off by a lot of hours. My carpeting was not really dry until late the next day. I cannot attribute the length to the weather outside because, as it happens, the weather was beautiful. I was able to have the windows open without adding humidity to the house. The throw rug was completely dry by late afternoon. Neither of these points make any difference in regards to the quality of the work, of course. The bottom line is that I was satisfied with the cleaning, with the technician, and with the overall experience. It would have been nice if the drying time estimate had been better, but that does not change the fact that I had a good experience and the results were good, too. I would recommend A Day and Night Carpet & Upholstry Cleaning.

They did a great job. They are very professional and reliable.

The carpets were not cleaned well. The cleaner didn't clean in the corners, behind the chairs. After the carpets dried, they still looked dirty. There were dirt spots which the cleaner missed. It seemed like the cleaner just used water over the carpets. Will not use again.

I thought I would give this company a shot because they had great reviews and Angies list had a coupon $119 for 5 rooms of carpet cleaning. (I have a small house, it is only 5 rooms and an unfinished basement, approx. 1000 sq/ft) So I thought what a great deal. When I first called the company, I waited approximately 24 hours for a return phone call, this should have been my clue to their service. I scheduled an appointment with Sharon who told be someone would be at my house at noon, but she recommended we be there a little earlier so if they are running early someone would be there. I had to work so I asked my parents to sit in my empty house (just bought the house, dont even have TV up yet,) They arrived at 11am just to be safe, at noon Eric called and verified my address and stated he was approximately 50 minutes away from my house. I called and notified my parents. At 1 pm my mom called stating he had not arrived yet so I called Eric, he told me he had to stop at the shop to pickup extra supplies and he would be at my house in about 45 minutes. I advised I was upset because, that is was he told me an hour ago, he was very apologetic, I said fine. At 2 pm my parents called to advise me he is not there yet, so I call the company and leave a voicemail for Sharon and then I emailed her. Then I called Eric, he stated he was 20 minutes from my house, states his GPS was wrong and he called Sharon to get directions to my house and was now on his way, he was again very apologetic but by this time I was already highly annoyed and if he was having trouble locating me, he should have called me, I said fine and hung up. He arrived at my house at 2:30pm, he told my parents he would remove the $24 fee for the downstairs carpet and remove the $15 transportation fee as a coutesy. He called at 3:30 that he finished the job (less than an hour) He said he could not remove the paint stains on my carpet, I stated that was okay(cause I wasnt sure if those could be removed) He also stated he wasnt charging me for the extra square footage but he had to charge me the transportation fee (per Sharon, he said he spoke with her and she told him I left a voice mail but I was still to recieve that charge since he was giving me the other discount). I said fine and paid the fee but later wish I had not as my mom called me and stated she does not believe he tried to remove paint stain, she said after she left she got down and started scrubbing and removed some of those stains. I was not paying attention to time and cant compare to other companies but I think 1 hour does seem pretty fast for cleaning my whole house. (granted it is a small house and there was no furniture to move but it does seem kinda quick) Right now it is 4:30pm, I left Sharon that voicemail 2 1/2 hrs ago, she has not bothered to call me herself and apologize at all. I think this company is run by 2 people, Sharon and Eric, I dont think they have other employees, they lack in customer service greatly

It was great. The price was good. My carpets were never as clean as before. Good experience. They are also very honest. They overcharged me for the services and I did not catch it but they did. I received a check in the mail. I was very impressed with this.

I did not have to wait long for my appointment. They gave me an hour window for the appointment which was great as I did not have to set aside a whole day. They we here on time and did a good job. He got rid of all the stains and moved my tv stand to clean under it. He was friendly and professional. I discussed having my leather love seat cleaned at a latter date.

They arrived on-time and were very professional. They too great care in running the hoses and vacuum lines. Carpet looked great! Sharon also took the time to explain their services how the job should be done. I will be using them in the future.

the service person was very positive, organized, and professional. he arrived on-time and did everything that was required. my only complaint is that he smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. since i am not a smoker it was very noticable to me. in summary they were excellent.

I have used them several times for carpet cleaning. They have been responsive and have performed good services.

The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He cleaned all the carpets quickly and even got out stains that we thought would never come out. We will be hiring this company again very soon. A much better and more professional job was done than by those places that clean all the carpets in your house for $99. We were surprised by how good the carpets looked when he was done. Great job!

The first visit went very well. I did have a few questions/concerns regarding a few stains that were still visible. On the second visit I had two additional rooms cleaned. Obviously if I was not happy then I would not have had the technician out again. The technician, Eric, handled my concerns. Everything went great and I am a satisfied customer. I would definitely use their service again.

I contacted Walter E. Smithe to ask for advice about a ballpoint pen ink stain on a chair I purchased from them. They referred me to A Day & Night (this is the outside company Smithe uses). I called on a Friday and Sharon scheduled a technician to come on the following Monday. The tech (Eric) expertly removed the ink stain from the chair and then cleaned a different chair (there was a service charge minimum so we decided to have 1 chair cleaned). I was impressed by how they're able to remove many different types of stains from upholstery. This is definitely a company whose services I would use again.

We were very happy the first time and they were better the second time! They were knowledgeable about different cleaning methods. Did both carpet and furniture and it came out better then we expected. I recommend them to anybody!
