The inspection was very thorough.

Michael was fantastic. Extremely thorough. Explained everything in advance: what he would be looking for, how the inspection process would proceed. When possible, he showed me how to work certain appliances and how to provide proper care an maintenance. Coming out of the inspection I felt completely confident in my purchase, that it had been carefully and completely inspected.

Michael is very professional, he arrived early and was very thorough in his explanation of what services he would be performing. During the inspection he pointed out issues that might need attention or to be on the look out in maintenance needs. He asked questions to be sure everyone understood. Amazingly he provided a report within minutes of finishing the inspection, complete with photos and recommendations. It was a feel good experience, Michael is engaging and generally a happy guy to be around.

We couldn't recommend MJG more highly, for professionalism, evident commitment to quality and to service, thoroughness, and willingness and ability to answer questions fully, clearly, and concisely. (And the written/illustrated report itself is very well done.)

As a realtor I have worked with several home inspectors, but Michael and his team are by far the best that I have seen. Michael and his team take the time to educate the homebuyer and answer any questions that come up. The fact that the entire team comes from a construction background truly shows. I've come across inspectors in the past that clearly did not have an understanding of building construction. This is not the case with MjG. Not only do I recommend MJG to my clients but I've personally used their services.

I am a real estate broker with a young couple as 1st time buyers. They were very nervous about the condition of the home. I called Mike Gennett on Tuesday and asked him to do an inspection that Saturday as the buyers were only able to be off work on the weekends. He was already booked for Saturday but made arrangements to accommodate the buyers on Sunday. He is very knowledgeable and did a thorough inspection of the home, both interior and exterior, taking the time to explain everything to the buyers and answering all their questions. By Sunday evening both the buyers and I hand a multi-page report with pictures emailed to us. I will definitely recommend Mike to future clients.

The inspector and his helper were very professional and knowledgeable. They showed me the areas of concern and explained why they should be repaired. The Inspector showed me how to operate all relevant home systems including several I was unfamiliar with including a fire place, a water softening system, a central vacuum system and a furnace humidifier. He also explained in great detail the useful life of various home appliances and systems and when I should expect to replace or service them. All in all, very happy and satisfied with the inspector, the value and the process. I would use MJG again and recommend them to friends and family who need a home inspection. Michael Gannett is a top notch inxpector but also a people person. So he is able to communicate what he finds in a way that the buyer can understand and also in a way that does not alarm the buyer when an issue can be resolved by proper home maintenance. Michael and his team are the very best. I recommend him to all of my clients.
