We love this company. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and his company is built on integrity and customer service. Every year, we have him check our furnace, a/c unit, and humidifier. He is punctual, professional and always does a terrific job!

Brian came out, explained the different furnace and a/c options and took some measurements. He emailed me 2 different proposals the same afternoon. I had to put the project on hold for a bit, I emailed him back when I was ready, he came out to double check the measurements and we set a date for installation. They showed up right on time, put down plastic over my carpet, had everything in by dinner time, cleaned up after themselves - left it cleaner than when they got there. Everything went very smoothly. Brian and his workers (Pete & Peter) were great, he takes the time to go over everything with you. Overall it was just great working with them.

Leith HVAC is the best provider in my area. Brian is extremely knowledgeable in his area and about older homes in general. He reviewed our systems and gave recommendations to make them more work more efficiently. I actually had to raise the temps on my a/c this year because it was cooling so well. He also didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need.

We were very please with Leith. From the beginning phone call to the end service, Leith was professional and pleasant to deal with.

When the temperatures rose into the 90's just before the 4th of July my air conditioner was not cooling properly. There was low pressure in the system and Brian diagnosed the issue as a faulty TXV. He did not have one in stock and ordered the part and got it and the install labor covered under warranty. We had to go old school and use fans for a couple of days but that just reminded us of how spoiled we have become and how much we value A/C. Brian was very through and committed to resolving the problem and expended extra effort with the manufacturer to ensure the TXV warranty and labor would be in effect thereby saving me a bunch of money. I strongly recommend Leith for your HVAC needs as they are honest and committed to the customer.

The furnace blower was working, but it was not blowing hot air. I called Brian at 1:52pm regarding our furnace. He began by diagnosing the problem over the phone and providing an initial estimate. I had confirmed his diagnosis by reading the code emitted from the furnace diagnostic light (busted limit switch) and checking it against the chart listed on the inside panel of the furnace. Brian indicated that he could be here later that day after another service call, probably around 3:30-3:45pm. Brian called at 3:39pm and stated that he was about 10-15 minutes away. He arrived around 3:50pm and had everything completed and tested by 5pm. The final bill matched his original estimate as well. Brian did an excellent job of explaining what the limit switch does and what may have caused it to fail; stress on the system/switch caused by restricted airflow due to clogged air filters and/or the use of highly restrictive air filters. This is the second time I've used Leith Heating & Air and each time I've found Brian to be knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and courteous. And as stated before, I especially appreciate him explaining everything very clearly in a way in which I can learn from the experience. Finally, Brian also accepted the Angie's List $10 coupon without issue.

Brian came on time to give me the estimates to install humidifiers. He explained me my options and gave me the reasonable estimates. Based on his reasonable estimates, I decided to have him insatlled the humidifiers. He scheduled to install very next day and did very nice professional job. I would definately recommend Leith Heating & Cooling.

I called Brian to service my furnace which been done for a number of years (my fault). When he started cleaning he realized that the heat exchanger was cracked and posed a risk for CO emissions. He didn't charge for the visit and wrote up a list of options for replacing or repairing the unit. We e-mailed back and forth a few times to make a final decision that was the best for my budget. Once I made my decision he was able to install it within one week despite the cold snap making this a very busy time. I would definitely recommend the Leiths as they were prompt professional and provided a good value. I felt like they really cared about finding the best solution for my situation.

Contacted several HVAC residential firms. Chose this one as they had high rating in AL, had a professional manner, and were the least expensive, considering I went with an American Standard whole house electronic air cleaner vs. Trane. It is same part but a different label, which they explained and I confirmed. They were professional, responsive, taking the time to answer all questions. I haven't had the unit long enough to make a long term assessment, but can say the installation and education part of it went very well. It is a small firm, that is thorough and very committed to customer satisfaction. If the product performs well over time, I will be very satisfied. Only time will tell for that.

They were able to get the work done on short notice. They were excellent and did a professional job. The cost came in 30% less then the previous bid from another company

Customer service was very helpful and was able to make an appointment within a week. Brian arrived 15 minutes early, provided me with information regarding types of filters I can use for my furnace to save money. In addition, when he told me the hot surface igniter needed to be replaced he provided me with 2 options; he told me the difference between the 2 parts which allowed me to make a decision that I felt was right. Brian never pressured me to replace the part or which part to choose. I will be using Leith again. Thank you!

Very well. Brian explained the different types of thermostats and told me I didn't need an expensive programmable due to my family's needs. He put in a digital that does exactly what I wanted it to...keeps the house at a constant temperature. He was on time, courteous, friendly, and I will definately call him when I need HVAC again.

Brian was a pleasure to work with from the first time I spoke with him on the phone. He came to our home on the Labor Day holiday to look at our installation and explain all of the options to us. Within a few days he provided an estimate via email. The price was very reasonable and we contracted for the work on 9/15. Brian and his associate did the installation in a half a day on October 1st and everything went perfectly. They were very professional, explained to me what they were going to do, they worked quietly and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed with Brian and signed up for his annual cleaning and checkup service for our furnace and air conditioner. I would work with him in the future for sure.

He had a bad flu bug and could not come out the first time scheduled. He was still under the weather the following Monday but nevertheless came out and charged a discounted price for the inconvenience. He did not try to sell me a service contract. Just set about, did the work, and said I was very lucky to have not had my plumbing leak damage any components. He was very prompt and professional and I will definitely use services of Leith in the future. Communication was excellent, they let me know that he could not make it when he got the flu bug that saturday.

They managed to squeeze us in and came out right away, quite literally. I didn?t expect them to be so responsive. They gave us a really good and honest estimate, and did a great job for us. They had to order a part, and they got it right away. They managed to come up with some server compromise so that we wouldn?t have to put in a new system. They worked on the system so that it would go on for another year at least. We got them off of Angie?s List. They were polite and very understanding of our economic situation. I was really glad that they were there. We were very pleased with them.

Brian was very responsive and professional. The quoted price was the lowest. In the end I decided to go with a more local vendor who I had prior experience with.

Brian was fabulous! We left a message on Sunday evening, thinking he would get it on Monday morning and we could be high on the call back list. We never expected his call back on Sunday evening! They scheduled us in for Monday, arrived on time and quickly fixed our problem. He even jovially put up with a basement full of kids watching and wanting to 'help'. We have used this company before and have always been so impressed.

Brian was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Sent the estimate the same day as he looked at the house. He was very punctual and completed the work in the time he said he would. We were so happy we invited him to give an estimate on a replacement furnace!

I called Leith based on their Angie's List rating. Got a voicemail and left a message. Heard back withing 30 minutes. Set up an appointment at 7:45am on a friday becaus I could not guarantee someone to be available in the afternoon, and they accomodated me. Brian Arrived promptly at my residence in Carpentersville, IL and I gave him a brief run down as to what was going on with the A/C. He asked a few questions about the age of the A/C unit and any history of problems. Got to work promptly. He took the time to rinse out the fins on the A/C unit and make other recommendations to best keep it in good running condition. After some trouble getting some reading on the refrigerant recharge, we needed to check if the condenser was frozen up in the house. It was, and we immediately started the thawing process. He completed the work and added refrigerant to the system, all for what I consider to be a very reasonable price.

I originally scheduled this for the day before, but due to potential severe weather, we rescheduled to the next day.(Brian did try to get the work in before the storm.) I appreciated the Brian's knowledge about HVAC, his flexibility in rescheduling the appointment and that he cleaned up as he worked.l

My air conditioner wasnn't cooling. Since it was the weekend I looked for someone in my area who would come out on a Sunday. I work during the week. Brian was prompt, professional, and did a great job. He even asked me how I heard of his company, and when I told him Angie's List he offered me a discount without my asking. I will definitely call him again even with the slightlly higher charge on the weekend. My comfort and schedule made it all worth it.
