I have been looking for a reliable handyman for a long time and ran across a listing for Mr. Handyman. I called them because their ratings on the web were so high. After hiring them, I can see why. This company is a real pleasure to work with. The office staff is very capable, friendly and relaxed. After speaking with Linda, who was very helpful, I had a good feeling about hiring them. Eric, who did my repairs, was highly professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. In fact, he was able to repair something I was certain needed replacement, and saved me some money in the process. He completed my entire list of repairs to my satisfaction in a very short time, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely use this company again. Thank you Linda and Eric. The job was very poorly done and the damage was done to a $750 vanity. Mr. Handyman refused to rectify any of the issues, even though their warranty specifically states a 1-year work guarantee and coverage for property damages incurred by their staff. Additionally, they tack on service fees that are out of spec with the stated fees in their documentation. Their first technician failed to properly install some shut-off valves and did not adequately prep walls before skim coating them, and so the tech that they had already scheduled to come out the next day had to redo all of the work, which ate up half of his allocated time, but I was charged for both days nonetheless. When asked to rectify the issues, the owner (Wayne) tried to get off the hook by referencing a conversation thread that we had concerning the company storing credit card information (which one of the techs had indicated he was doing when taking my credit card information at the end of the previous day) as if email assurances that the company does not store credit card information somehow washed away the damage and bad work that was done. Subsequently had to have a couple of additional contractors come out to quote costs for finishing the job. Both contractors actually thought that I had done the work myself and had gotten in over my head, which was quite a revelation. Quite shocking that the work was done that poorly and that the owner, without even bothering to come out and inspect the work, said that the work had been done well enough. Now I have to dispute the charges on my credit card and contact an attorney to pursue Mr. Handyman for the damage that they did to my new vanity. This all took place after Mr. Handyman found out that my wife had died, and so I think that they just thought I was loaded with insurance money and that they would tap into it. Really, shame on them.

The work was completed efficiently and well by Dan Skowronski. He installed a dining room light fixture and two curtain rods. Everything looks fantastic and I couldn't ask for more! Many thanks to Dan and Mr. Handyman.

40 year old outside window trim and sills repaired/replaced on second level of home. Thomas Kissee was the technician. Very courteous, highly skilled. A very professional job performed. Exceeded expectations!!

I've had Mr Handyman to my home twice. Both times the craftsman doing the job was a professional. Experienced,conscience,hard workers. Katie at the home office was fantastic and had a pleasant and relaxing demeanor in my time of crisis. I can't say enough.

Very friendly and fast service!

The handyman who visited our house was very helpful. I explained what we’re doing and what we needed done, he gave some tips and quickly completed the job. He even left me soft extra pieces so that once our concrete was raised I could shin some wood back to tighten the post.

Scott was highly recommended by my next door neighbor. He just did a number of projects for us and there will be more to come. Agree with my neighbor - very satisfied.

These folks get the work done and get it done well and quickly. This is our second time working with Tom K. and he is great. He not only does the job neatly and professionally, he has great ideas and goes above and beyond to make sure the repair will last.

It was very bad my hot tub was up and running before the tech came and he saw it, NOW, he came back and has (2) jets working instead of all (4) but we have a professional coming out to fix it, If you can't fix something then don't act as you can and break it. I am NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
