I was given a quick appointment for the following workday. That morning, I was notified that the handyman was enroute. He showed up in the middle of the time window promised and quickly sized up the situation. He quoted what I considered a fair price and got right to work. He climbed up the ladder, carefully re-positioned the gutter, and refastened it with screws until it was solidly back in correct position. I was relieved because high winds in the following days would have sheared the gutter completely off the building. All in all, the entire process was quick and smooth. No complaints.
Description of Work: A section of gutter had detached from the side of my house.

My smoke detector started to sound its end of life beeping at 1:30 am Christmas Eve - continued off and on all night! Of course it was at the highest point of the house - about 18 feet in the air. Searched on line for someone open on a holiday who could come ASAP. Needless to say, John & Josh at Mr Handyman saved my sanity!

Handyman was late, carried his ladder through the house for an outside job, didn’t grasp the problem and the work required, and performed a poor job that will require repair. We were charged $90 for materials that consisted of a six foot piece of plastic weatherstripping and a tube of caulk.
Description of Work: Cap weatherstripping above sliding patio door was replaced.

It didn’t you sent two different service technicians out the first was scared of heights and doesn’t do windows on second floor. The second came out and said there is no way that one technician can install the window. Snd he did not bring a ladder either insane this is after you cancelled two previous appointments and made me wait three weeks. I told them the dimensions of the window when I called and that it was a second story window.

Tom Kissee from Mr Handyman services of Wheaton was great! He secured some facia that came loose from the peak of my 2 story house. Tom was prompt, friendly, and did a great job! Also scheduling thru Mr Handyman of Wheaton was easy and prompt. I texted them my problem and they set up an appoint to fix it in 2 days. They also also updated me on arrival time and followed up to see if I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Mr Handyman of Wheaton and Tom for other handyman services!

Mark Golab did a phenomenal job finding the issue and fixing it. Our living room have a lot of fish tanks with one that was covering the outlet that ended up causing the problem. He understood how difficult it would be to move the tank, so he offered to work through the cabinet beneath it. It was a really uncomfortable spot to work in, so we greatly appreciated Mark for going above and beyond in helping to fix our electrical problem. We're also thankful that Mark took the time to explain to us how to troubleshoot our fuse box and manage out outlets better.
Description of Work: The outlets for a section of our living room went out. Had to find where the fix was needed within the circuit and replace the wiring in the problem outlet.

From start to finish the process was so easy! Scheduling the job with Katie was a breeze and when she had an earlier appointment she was able to confirm it quickly so our work was completed sooner than expected. Gus was early and did a great job identifying and correcting the issue with 5 different closet doors that would not close properly.
