 + 0 moreFound a very slow leak above my drop celing in the basement coming from a copper tube connecting water dispenser from basement to the fridge. Called Mr. Handyman to ask if they could help, and they confirmed they could fix it. Had a gentleman out to the house in about an hour, and upon brief inspection, he explained what he would do to address the problem. He finished the work within the hour, and walked me through what he did as we inspected it together. Very professioinal and responsive. Before he left, showed him a couple of other jobs that have been waiting to be done.... will definitely be calling on Mr. Handyman again, and asking for Pat. Great work!
Description of Work: handyman repaied a slow leak from a weak spot in a copper tube running above my dropped ceiling in the basement.

 + 1 moreTheir service was very good. He quoted me at a certain price to paint the deck for about 5 hours based off the measurements of the deck. When he came out he did the work in 3 hours. They only billed me for three hours. They showed up on time. They were reliable. The guy who did the scheduling on the phone was very efficient and he followed up. I used a coupon.

Description of Work: Mr. Handyman of Wheaton helped me to get the basement ready for another job. They had to put the washer in the dryer back up, put the toilet back in and they reattached a few things that they had to disconnect.

 + -1 moreI called early in the week and an appointment was set for Friday. Pete arrived within a few minutes of the scheduled time and did a great job. He also removed the resulting junk. A great experience. I think we'll keep a 3x5 card at the desk to write down all the things that I never get around to doing and call these guys every six months or so.
Description of Work: A recent storm pulled the PVC vent from our radon system away from the exterior wall. It was too high for me to get to easily. Pete reanchored the vent pipe and also took care of a few other little projects: removed an old TV antenna from our chimney, took an old DISH Network dish off the roof, and installed trim around some cabinets in our laundry room and kitchen.

After we had the crack sealed, he came back and replaced and repaired the drywall. He did a great job and was friendly, neat, and professional.

Description of Work: He trimmed two doors so that they wouldn't stick on the new carpet. Another was an exterior door that needed raising. He patched a wall in two places, and did some painting on a window. He also installed a ceiling fan.
