Their responsiveness was great, I have used them in the past and they are always top notch.

The provider was expedient plus professional in calling us back and in setting the service appointment. Larry (the service technician) was professional and efficient. He did have a few slip ups with some of the cuts necessitating a few re-cuts plus additional supplies, but honestly we don't fault him for that. It was worth it just to get the job done and he did do an excellent job in the end. As he joked "he saved us the adventure" and it was an adventure we wanted to avoid at all cost. We'd had it on our diy list for about the last year to help finish out a massive diy project to remodel our entire main floor. We felt the price was fair for what was done and we would use them again.

When he came for the first time to check out the job, he was already there. He was early and extremely prompt. His work was excellent. It was nice to know that I requested his work, and the job was done above satisfaction. He was very honest and fair with his pricing and even gave me a discount because he felt that the work didn't take as long as planned.

It went very well. The Technician, Larry provided quality work, which was completed in a timely manner. He asked questions, and provided advise and information. He carried himself in a friendly, courteous, and businesslike manner. He was neat and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend Handyman of Wheaton for this type of work.

Larry was very professional and very efficient. Work went very smoothly. Plan to have him back to install a new range hood.

Glenn responded to our call promptly, he arrived on time for our appointment, he understood our intent and our concerns related to working with older homes, and he provided a solution along the lines we were hoping for, with suggestions to improve on our original thoughts. I felt very comfortable with his expertise and approach to the work. His proposal was delivered promptly with a sense of humor as well. Estimated expense was quite reasonable and in line with our expectations. Utlimately we decided to go with another contractor, but we are keeping Mr Handyman of HInsdale on our rolodex as we have plenty of work to be done and we felt very comfortable with Glenn. We will be calling them again.

They trimmed the bushes, gutter cleaning, pressure washing. They did very well. I recommend.

Dave, the handyman, arrived early and completed all jobs in a timely manner. Very pleasant and very knowledgeable in the work completed.

Dave from Mr. Handyman was very good. He was able to fix the problem and did a really good job. He was very pleasant and very friendly.

The job went very poorly. The leak continued and I had to contact a plumber who had to replace the garbage disposal and said the gasket that was put in was the wrong size. This cost me an additional 250 to get it fixed. The reverse osmosis is still sitting and not working as it appears to have been installed incorrectly also. I will need to call an expert to get that up and running. My concern is that I was very specific about what I needed done and if they could not do it, they should have told me upfront and I could have used the time I bought through the Big Deal for other, less complicated handyman jobs. I guess plumbing jobs should be done by plumbers and not a handyman.

The work is excellent qaulity. They were quick to respond, and they were also quick to respond with the estimate. The price was within the qoute, which I think is important. I'm very happy. The company also followed up to check on the worker.

I was pleased with Scott's work. Also, even though Scott had to make separate visits for each new coat of mud, he was able to work around my schedule, even when I had to call the central office to reschedule for the following week.

The service was excellent and professional. They went to home depot for me to get parts and were back quickly. They cleaned everything up fine. They responded to my call and said they would have someone out in about 15 minutes.

Mr. Handyman rep did a great job. I had two ceiling fans with chains that needed to be replaced and a couple of other small repairs. The repair person did a great job, timely, cleaned up and fixed all of my repairs. I would definitely use this service again.

I called Mr. Handyman looking for someone to repair the broken ropes in some of the windows in my 85 year old home. They have the ropes and weights found in older homes. Wanted to get an estimate before going ahead with the service and Jill said she could have someone out the next day. Scott came the next morning right on time and took a look at the windows. He gave me a price and said he was available that day if I would like him to do the work. He had to go get sash rope because he doesn't carry it on the truck, returned and started the job. No problems until he took the trim off one window and discovered a bat hanging on the weight. He asked for a towel, covered the weight and bat with the towel and immediately took it outside. He may not be glad he was here but I certainly was! He was neat and cleaned up after finishing the job and probably had the story of the day to tell his fellow co-workers! He also gave me some helpful suggestions on stripping and staining the window trim.

I would strongly recommend not doing business with Mr. Handyman of Hinsdale. I hired them to move a sink, washer, dryer, and other large items in preparation for a basement waterproofing project and then to put back them back after waterproofing was done. Also hired them to build a short flight of basement steps, tile two small rooms, and replace the glass in two windows. The office and management staff were very personable and pleasant. Met with rep at my house and we reviewed the tasks to be done while going through the actual area to be worked in. It took them three tries to get the list of tasks accurately recorded in the estimate. By the time the estimate reflected the tasks I originally identified, the cost of the project had also increased significantly. The workmanship of the steps was extremely poor?the risers were uneven, the wood itself had cracks and rough, damaged edges, there were many gaps in the finished steps, etc. They were totally unacceptable and unsalvageable. At least they did refund my money for the steps. I hired someone else to remove the steps and start from scratch and returned the used wood to Mr. Handyman. The new steps done by the different firm at a comparable price were 100% better and I am very satisfied. When the sink was reinstalled, the cold water spigot no longer worked and the pipes under the sink had been poorly reassembled, which they did fix when the problems were pointed out. When the basement window with the new glass was reinstalled, it was put in upside down and screws were left out. Based on the sloppy work they?d done so far, I terminated our contract before any floor tiling work began. The final amount of the project that I listed may not be totally accurate. What with the refund on the stairs, not having the tiling work done and the three estimates I got, I'd have to go through all my records to reconstruct what I actually paid. I don't feel good about giving a poor review to this company because I felt the management staff tried to provide quality service, but the actual work done reflected a low level of skills and standards.

It went very well. I bought a special coupon for Mr. HandyMan of Wheaton through Angie's List. It was for three hours of work at a cost of $125. I communicated via email with Wayne Owczarzak of Mr. Handyman of Wheaton. We arranged a date and time to do the work. Wayne sent me an email confirming that Mike would come on Monday, December 17th at 8am. Mike arrived promptly. He was friendly and professional. I showed him what I wanted done. He started with the garage door first. I purchased a lock from the hardware store and gave it to him. In about an hour he installed it. Next, he reattached the thermostat securely on the wall. That took less than fifteen minutes. Lastly, he tackled the attic. He told me his suggestion. He could cut the piece of wood into a door and fasten in with hinges to the wall. I agreed. He made a trip to a local lumberyard to buy some hardware and returned shortly. He did a very good job of cutting and attaching the door to the wall with hinges. He put a small knob to help open and close it. I inspected everything and was happy with Mike's work and with Mike himself. He is very good at what he does and with dealing with people. Mike finished in the three hour time covered by the coupon. I paid for the lock before the worked started. Mike charge me $11 dollars for hardware he needed for the attic door. After Mike left, I thought of something else I wanted done with the attic door. Since it opens into an unheated area of the attic I was concerned that the door might accidently pop open and the warm air could escape. I called Mr. Handyman and asked if Mike could come back and put a latch on the door. He came back that evening around 6pm and installed two latches, one at the top and one at the bottom of the door which keep it securely closed. This second trip cost me $90 in labor for one hour and $5 for some hardware.

The tech was nice and professional. He was behind scheduled doing another job, but he called to let me know and came around the time he said he will be at my home. My mother said he came in greeted her then got to work. He performed every task that was asked to do.

Experience overall was excellent

Mr Handyman International LLC did a really good job from start to finish. The cleanup was good, the work was excellent. The customer service was really good, and so was the communication. The whole experience was positive which was why I used them twice.

They were thorough. They were pretty thorough in explaining how things should be done and why. They explained how the new law is since you now have to have returns at the top of the railings, and that sort of thing. Their price was a little high.

I used Angies List for the first time. i called three different vendors and decided to interview one and that is the one I choose. I found them reliable,fair,efficient and they did a excellent job. I would recommend this company.
