Everything went very well. Steve arrived bright and early ready to work. We're very pleased with the quality of his work. He happily completed some small stuff we thought of after the fact. He was very personable and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend him to others seeking a handyman.

I first spoke with Katie, in the office to quote and schedule. She was very responsive and followed up on my questions and work to be done. Tom K's work was above our expectations. He was on time, professional, his work looked great when he was done. He cleaned up after completing the job, showed us everything he repaired, and repaired a spot we didn't know about (but needed repair) all before he total the work up. It was below the quoted price. I will definitely request Tom K next time I call for a project we will have done by Mr. Handyman in the near future. We definitely recommend Mr. Handyman to friends.

Amazing! We needed to add a bifold door to a narrow entrance (no doorframe) and Scott put together a great custom solution! We could not be happier!!! Great work, and a thoroughly enjoyable person to work with.

Good work, very professional and courteous tech

We had an initial appointment scheduled and they didn’t show up. Instead they called me to confirm an appointment for another day. They said they had no record of the original appointment until I played the voicemail they left me the day before. Eventually they got there and told me they would email me an estimate. They never did. I called them and next day they said they emailed it. When I said I didn’t receive it they sent it to me and said they can’t get the job done for two weeks. I told them I would have to go with someone else. They told me no one would be able to do it soon because everyone is busy. I called Precision and they did it the same day for the same price.

It went well initially but they forgot to take the last piece. They then wanted to charge me to take the last piece away but ultimately they did take it. Overall I was over charged. When I first talked to them they told me it would cost $178 for the first hour then $116 every hour after. it was estimated to take 2-3 hours. They charged me $475 and it took them 50 min. I won't use them again.

Job was very poorly done and damage was done to a $750 vanity. Mr. Handyman refused to rectify any of the issues, even though their warranty specifically states a 1-year work guarantee and coverage for property damages incurred by their staff. Additionally, they tack on service fees that are out of spec with the stated fees in their documentation. Their first technician failed to properly install some shut off valves and didn't adequately prep walls before skim coating them, and so the tech that they had already scheduled to come out the next day had to redo all of the work, which ate up half of his allocated time, but I was charged for both days nonetheless. When asked to rectify the issues, the owner (Wayne) tried to get off the hook by referencing a conversation thread that we had concerning the company storing credit card information (which one of the techs had indicated he was doing when taking my credit card information at the end of the previous day) as if email assurances that the company doesn't store credit card information somehow washed away the damage and shoddy work that was done. Subsequently had to have a couple additional contractors come out to quote costs for finishing the job. Both contractors actually thought that I had done the work myself and had gotten in over my head, which was quite a revelation. Quite shocking that the work was done that poorly and that the owner, without even bothering to come out and inspect the work, said that the work had been done well enough. Now I have to dispute the charges on my credit card and contact an attorney to pursue Mr. Handyman for the damage that they did to my new vanity. This all took place after Mr. Handyman found out that my wife had died, and so I think that they just thought I was loaded with insurance money and that they would tap into it. Really, shame on them.

Everything went very well! First, the team members that answer the phone and book the appointments as well as call with a reminder are extremely friendly, helpful and service oriented. Erick was the young man that came to my home. He was early (I received a call to see if he could arrive early) and really pleasant. He quickly and efficiently did the work. Would definitely call Mr. Handyman again

He still has to grout the tile,but do far so good.. Everyone at Mr Handyman has been very nice..I feel bad for Brian working so much in my hot bathroom..when I first asked Angie's list for an estimate,the first company didn't contact me.(not Mr Handyman) there was no after hours person to talk to..I finally got ahold of the guy who said he was driving and would call back..he didn't..so I asked for 2 more companies.Mr Handyman contacted me right away.the other company said they were in Barrington and didn't do work in this area..but I'm glad I got Mr Handyman to do the work. Brian has been a big help

A section of fascia was torn off from high winds and the other half of the fascia was twisted but still attached to the house. Tom did a great job of salvaging the damaged fascia and the repair looks great! Job well done!

It went very well. They arrived on-time, finished early, and charged roughly half of the original estimate. They were helpful courteous, and professional.

Erik did a good job and worked quickly. He arrived promptly and cleaned everything up before he left.

Great. Gus. (Technician) arrived on time. Was very professional and very nice. I showed him the areas that needed touch up plus there were three walls in 3 separate rooms that needed to be completely painted.

John was excellent. His work was stellar and he completed many items on our list in record time.
