+ -1 moreMeadow inspected my well in March 2019 and recommended repairs. I received an estimate/proposal in mid-June, discussed payment terms and arranged for them to do the work, which was for a more than $11,000 job. They told me the pipe and other parts were on order and work could possibly begin on Friday July 12 pending their receipt of the ordered pipe from their supplier. When I did not hear from them I called them on July 11 and was told that because they accepted a big contract they could no longer do my job for lack of resources.-----the day before they were going to do the job----And I had to call them to find this out.

+ -1 moreI was nervous the whole time, if the old pump could not have been removed we would have had to dig an entire new well; much more expensive. The had to bring in a new rig for the drilling, without guarrantee that it would work. Estimated the price and then billed me that price without any additions.
Description of Work: Well water pump failed, but stuck in the wall. The pump had to be destroyed with a large drill bit & flushed out of the well, up to the grass. A new water pump was installed and is in operation,

+ -1 moreKathy and Ryan are the dream team! We called them at 615AM and had a call back by by 645. They came out the same day. The job ended up being very difficult as the pump was stuck pretty good. We ended up telling them to get some sleep around 9pm the day we called, they were promptly back the next morning at 9AM and spent most of the day getting the pump out. Lucky for us they were able to get it out. The pump was 30 years old and completely corroded. constantly through the process Ryan answered my questions and explained the different techniques he was using and how he hoped they would respond. I am so grateful for them! It all worked out and given the time they were here the price was more than reasonable. My wife, daughter and I cant thank them enough.

+ -1 moreI woke up to no water and no ability to shower. I called Meadow and they had a tech show up to my house within 2 hours. They checked the system and found that my well pump died. The tech had the right equipment on his truck and had my water back up and running within 2 hours. They were very careful about not ripping up the grass as they drove up to the well head. Although the price tag was pretty high, I don't feel that they overcharged me.

+ -1 moreLong story short, we experienced a fire in our crawl space as a result of something faulty with our well. Thanks to smoke detectors in the crawl, and a fire extinguisher nearby, we were able to control the fire quickly. With the circuit breaker thrown, we were now without water, and the possibility of a very dangerous unit. We had used Meadow before, so we placed a phone call first thing in the morning. Although they had a very busy schedule they were able to squeeze us in. It wasn't long before Ryan showed up and saved the day for us. From start (Kelly on phones), to finish (Ryan to the rescue), we couldn't have been more pleased at their response. Don't hesitate to give them a call for any well or pump issue!
Description of Work: While I'm not sure exactly what needed to be done to get us our water back, I do know that Ryan had to replace something. Most importantly, what the provider did was act expediently upon our first phone call!

+ -1 moreSo, it's Christmas Eve, we wake up and have NO WATER!!! Called Meadow Well, and Randy was at our house within an hour. He was friendly, professional, and extremely courteous. Replaced the well pump and pipe in just a few hours, and our holiday is saved. What a great guy... Can't say enough positive things about him. Definitely highly recommend him and Meadow Well.

Description of Work: My electric meter had been running full out for a couple weeks before I isolated the problem to the well. I called Meadow Well & Pump since they had done the original install many years ago. After eliminating other possiblities, Randy from Meadow pulled the pump and found the check valve had quit working. He replaced the check valve and we decided to also replace the pump since the current one was almost twenty years old. He had everything he needed with him and completed the work in one visit. My electric useage is back to normal and Randy solved my problem. He is a great respresentative for Meadow Well & Pump. He took the time to explain how everything worked and give us all alternatives. We actually decided to go ahead and replace the pump that was still working because we were so confident in the quality of Randy's work. .

+ -1 moreI got home from very late from work and found that I had no water. I called them and was able to talk to a service person at 11 at night who talked me though the problem. They came early the next morning and checked over my whole well system. They found that my pressure tank had failed and that cause my pump to fail. (Everything was over 20 years old) They were able to do the repair at that time and had my water running again that morning. Randy was very knowledgable and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions and educate me on the well (I didn't even know where my well was). I would recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreThe pump got stuck and they completely destroyed the well trying to remove it. We used to have water, but for a month after they started working on it we had none. A job that should have cost $2,000 cost us $8,000 to fix after paying another company to fix it. First they asked for $600 dollars and we said no, a week later we received a bill in the mall for $1,750 for what they did do and a note saying that if we didn t pay them they were going to put a lean on us. I hope no one ever uses them, they are horrible!
