Description of Work: Provider was used to install two paver patios,to regrade the backyard due to water pooling near the foundation and to install landscaping. The paver patio installations were done well. The grading was not satisfactory. The foreman raised the level of the soil at our foundation to the top of the foundation instead of taking more soil out of the yard. We were left with a deep moat in our yard instead of a subtle swale. They came back out twice to correct it but ultimately it probably needed to be completely redone to make it meet our original expectations. Water still pools in certain spots because the grading was not done correctly.

Description of Work: Grant & Power did a complete backyard renovation at my townhome, including installation of a brick paver patio with seating walls close to the house and a curving retaining wall along the back of the property. They installed plant materials throughout along with exterior lighting. The project took about 5 days. I cannot say enough positives about the whole experience. I have never met more hard-working professionals and would highly recommend this company. I continue to use them for follow-up services.

Description of Work: Sub-contracted removal of two dead ash trees (emerald ash borer) and complete replacement of an asphalt driveway, including curb-cutting. Designed and performed all work for a complete redesign of our front yard, including beautiful new entrance stoop and steps, front yard patio and walk in concrete pavers, and two large new planting beds. Excellent work; we've received many compliments on the design. Would definitely hire again.

Description of Work: cleaned gutters and cleaned roof debri. honest opinion on what gutters and roof shape is in. I would use again.

Description of Work: G and P are expensive but usually very good. Lately they have gotten too big and too busy so,in my view,the quality has suffered.They do try to make it right,but at times this requires more time on the phone than I want to spend. I just want my lawn service to do what I ask and not do what I don't want. I will probably move on,after 5 yrs, as they are expensive for what you get.

Description of Work: We had Grant & Power create a stone patio with gas fire pit. They came out to take pictures and get a feel for what we wanted with the patio/firepit. I was able to look at a catalogue and pick out which stone and colors we wanted to use. 3 weeks after the initial consultation, Shawn came back with colored plans detailing exactly what would be done and the cost. After a little tweaking, we came to an agreement and scheduled a start date. The guys were prompt and worked efficiently and had the patio and fire pit completed in 6 days. It turned out even better than we imagined it would! Very happy!

Description of Work: Didn't have any work performed as I was looking for estimates. The estimate I recieved was supposed to have 2 quotes. One for a wood retaining wall and one for a block wall. All info was taken down but my estimate did not have the wood retaining wall in a separate estimate. Just the higher priced block wall. Found a contractor 2/3rds less for the higher priced Uniloc wall and uses the exact same techniques in building walls.

Description of Work: They came out to do a follow up visit to make sure what they did in November worked and they made minor adjustments. They will not know if these adjustments worked until next spring and they will be out again to check this for us. It is an ongoing adjustment with all of the rain and they want to check and make sure everything is right.
