Everything was great with this company. They really went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. They were very responsive and even worked on the weekends. A very professional company. I would absolutely use this company again.

Overall, the service and explanation from quote stage to finished work was thorough. Radon levels have come back at under 1 and will be testing again soon. Crew came out early morning after a long night of rain and determined the sump was no longer working and replaced existing. Sealed the pump, all cracks in foundation, floor, crawl. Installed full radon mitigation system, thoroughly cleaned area, explained testing. Work took 1 full day to complete.

They arrived on time, were very professional, completed the work as discussed and cleaned up when they were finished. I would highly recommend.

We opted to use a different service based on price and timing. We would have used this company had they been more price competitive for us.

They were punctual, friendly, and professional. Their price was also good. The system is still new. The process takes upto three months to test its effectiveness, so I'm still undecided.

They were very knowledgeable about the product. There was nothing negative about them. I rate them high overall and I will use them in the future.

Rich came out and was very professional. When they came and did the work they were on time, efficienct and installed very clean looking systems. We purchased the house after it had tested for radon at 4.1 and our first test came back after the mitigation system at 0.6 which was great (almost the same level you get by just playing in your yard outside). The sump and ejector pits were sealed and looked very nice (well as much as a pit can look nice). They were complately sealed with window kits with nice looking covers. I know this may seem like a small point but we looked at 100s of houses before purchasing and seen many sloppy sump pits that make you wonder how they took care of the house. Anyway, Accurate radon went above and beyond their scope of work and did a fantastic job. I also liked the fact that they also did pump work as well as basement sealing. It saved me a lot of hassle dealing with 2 - 3 seperate contractors.

They were fine and everything was good.

Overall, went well. However, the manufacturer's pump was defective and they had to come back several times. they were very responsiive and weren't going to be finished until things were working properly, which they have been since they were able to get a different pump from the manufacturer.

Accurate Radon was wonderful. They did everything right. They were professional and on time. They explained thoroughly what radon is and how to mitigate it. They displayed a unit outside that looks nice and it matches well with the house. They did a good job. Since they had to go through concrete walls in order to finish the job, I think the price was reasonable for the work performed. I am going to make sure they can continue the radon monitoring and have an on-going relationship with Accurate Radon.

Excellent service from the beginning to the end. No pressure during sales home visit. Excellent workmanship, very clean, and all service workers were very informative and courteous. They had very difficult areas to work in and they never complained. Our radon levels went down from 12 to .6. Highly recommend. The end result was very professional looking (looks like a downspout) versus our neighbors who have a pipe sticking out of their home for their radon removal.

The owner/operator was very responsive, very informative and very detail oriented. He was very easy to deal with. I recommend him highly.

It went extremely well. Richard was terrific. My home is a 4,500 square foot ranch home with a full basement underneath the entire home. My radon level was above 4.0. Richard came to my home, designed a system and gave me the cost estimate. His crew came in and did the initial job. My levels were reduced to .9 to 3.3 in different portions of my basement. Richard came out and increased the size of my suction pumps. The levels dropped to .7 to 3.2. Richard came in and designed and installed some additions to the system. My levels dropped to .9 to 1.2. This was all done at NO additional cost to me - Richard guaranteed that he would get the levels down to less that 2.0 for the original cost estimate. I cannot say enought about the service that I received from Richard.

Rich is well informed, on time, organized and very accomodating, Unlike many of his competitors, He knows his business and I would not hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him.

From the start, we were impressed with Rich and his company. He came to our home to give a detailed explanation of his company and answered ALL questions we had re: radon and mitigation. And we had a lot of questions. In addition, my husband (who has an environmental background) wanted the system to be installed a very specific way, Rich was able to accomodate my husband's requests and went above and beyond what was asked of him. The electrical system in our home we recently purchased (built in the 70's) was a bit mixed up (to say the least) and it took more time than expected, yet Rich never complained to us, nor did he "charge" us more for the extra time he had to spend on the job. The entire team that worked with Rich were professional, polite and also answered any questions we had. I was at home all day with the entire team and felt as though they were very thorough and took their time to insure the job was done 100%! We were completely happy with the job and will recommend Accurate Radon to our friends and neighbors.

We are in the process of selling our house and the radon level came back high. This was one of the things we needed to fix before we could go forward with the sale of our home. I only wish I knew to check it sooner. The people at accurate made the process easier from the first phone call to the completion of the project. If you are in need of a Radon Reduction System you will be pleased with their service and professionalism.

The waterproofing solved my seepage problem and was very reasonably priced. The Radon mitigation system was complicated by the configuration of the basement/crawlspace but ultimately the radon level was lowered below 1.0 and air quality of the basement was much improved. I think the results, price, and breadth of services would be very difficult to find elsewhere.

Rich arrived on time and was extremely friendly and imformative. He was able to replace the motor with no problem. I would definitely recommend.

They arrived at 9:15 a.m. and finished at 4:15 p.m. They did a very professional installation and left the work areas inside and out all cleaned up and removed all the waste material. I am a science nut, and he answered all my questions in an informative manner. I highly recommend Accurate Safety Solutions (a.k.a. Accurate Radon) because of Rich's extensive experience, superior knowledge of radon problems including mitigation and installation expertise.

You wont go wrong with Accurate Safety Solutions (previously Accurate Radon). They do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it and at a reasonable price.

Rich initially installed our radon system back in June of 2009 and did a phenomenal job. He was incredibly responsive, gave me a very fair quote, took the time to explain to me what he was doing during the install, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and had great follow up afterwards. The system worked great and brought our radon reading down from over 10 pCi/L to less than 0.5 pCi/L. Then in January when we were experiencing long stretches of sub zero temperatures our system unexpectedly froze up. I emailed Rich and, true to form, he responded right away and scheduled one of his workers (Steve) to come out the very next day. Rich called me again the next morning before Steve arrived and went over my options, again patiently and thoroughly answering all of my questions. We ended up swapping our existing fan motor for a larger one, which Rich did not charge us for (he did not charge us for the service call either). Since the swap we have had no further issues and our system monitor is showing increased efficiency. We have recommend Rich to all of our friends and we plan on having him install our back up sump pump in the fall.

When buying our house the radon test showed elevated levels (4.7). We called Accurate Radon based on the positive reviews in Angie's list. Rich came by the next day and assessed our situation. He gave us a thorough explanation of our options, letting us know the pros and cons. He showed us data on how his other clients had improved their radon levels, and explained how he would keep coming back until we were satisfied with our test results. Rich and his team were able to install a system with a small motor (lower electric costs) that works very well to reduce our radon levels. Initial results showed that the radon is now less than 0.5. We are very happy with the results.

Rich installed the system for us in 2006 and has been punctual in yearly maintenance. He's caught a few items at no charge that needed replacing. His work is meticulous, not at all rushed, and his explanations are clear and detailed.

Our home tested high (>5.0) during a short-term Radon test when we purchased the home in 2005. We received funds from the seller to install a mitigation system, but never installed it. We installed a long-term test system immediately and our long-term results were less than 4.0 for the first three years we owned the house. But in 2009, our radon level was often in excess of 4.5 and with a new baby, we decided it was time to install the mitigation system. Rich was great to work with. He came to our house and spent an hour explaining the system and providing his estimate/recommendations. We was flexible in terms of where we wanted the vent installed and worked with our Condo rules. Rich and his staff member came to our home about two weeks later to install the system. They installed everything as promised and there were no surprises. I'm very pleased with how the system looks, works, and sounds (cannot hear it at all). I'm also very pleased with the results. Both the independent lab and our electronic test system show our Radon levels consistently in the .5 to .6 range which is only slighter higher than outdoor levels and half the average indoor level. Some little things that I prefered about the solution implemented by Rich vs. others we talked to: 1) Tries using the smallest motor possible to keep energy costs down. 2) Uses sealed gutter material (instead of PVC) outside of the home so it blends in better. 3) The GFI outlet is installed inside the home, making it easy to turn the system on/off as necessary. Rich appears to typically work with people keeping their homes (rather than selling) and I think the quality of his work shows as a result. Rich's price was slightly higher than other quotes received, but was work the extra dollars.
