,David did an outstanding job in every way. The quality of the refacing and the new cabinet doors is absolutely beautiful - they look like new custom cabinets. He took great care and had wonderful expertise in addressing various existing issues in the kitchen and laundry room and found great solutions. His service was excellent in working with our specific needs and requirements for the project. He was excellent to work with in every way from start to finish. We especially appreciate that the quality of the workmanship had stood up extremely well since the work was done. It is a pleasure to use our new kitchen and we receive many compliments. David has completed several other repair items for our home in addition to doing the kitchen. I highly recommend him for any work needed. I plan to use his services in the future.

Dave, responded to all issues that came up, from granite counters discoloration, to wrong color caulking. He was respectful of our property inside and out. Cleaned up at the end of each day.

David provided several options for the replacement closet doors and adjusted them to fit our older home. This is the fifth or sixth large job that David has done for our family. He has done so many projects in our home including: designing/building/installing bookcases and entertainment walls, installing ceramic tile flooring, designing and installing marble counters, designing/installing stair banisters and installing a variety of wood trim. I trust David implicitly, recommend him to everyone and know that he will insist on a perfectly completed project.

. They were great. We were going to get other estimates, but, after seeing how Milton measured, we decided to go with them to do all the work. We did nothing other than empty some cabinet drawers. Their work is excellent and Dave follows up after the job is done to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

We reviewed bids from multiple finishing carpenters and decided to proceed with Winchell Woodworking. David Winchell is the owner and the individual/carpenter who was our point person. We found David to be the utmost professional. He was responsive, accurate, and creative. The quality of his work was impeccable -- both the final product and the way he approached the job (on-time, thoughtful, attention to detail and cleanup). I felt like David always focused on my needs-- patiently listening and clearly explaining his ideas I had provided a picture of the type of mantel that interested me .From there we did some brainstorming and scenario planning (e.g., what will it be like if you have a party-- will tall people hit their heads? ). From the planning, David created some prototypes. What was most extraordinary was that David built life-size models out of cardboard, then plywood that we staged in our house to get the "feel" of the final design. He revisited creating some of the modules with timber on-site. Next, David took all of the dimensions, models, color selections, etc. and created the final product -- in modules -- off site . He returned to re-assemble them in our home. The result was outstanding. David and his team were incredibly trustworthy, considerate, and respectful. The quality of the final piece was exceptional. I would highly recommend Winchell Woodworking.

Crown molding installed perfectly! Cabinet tune up erased years of use and made them look like new. All recessed can lights turned out great. Brought an excellent, professional painting contractor. Promised Christmas deadline was met. Overall great experience!

The project began with several visits to hammer out the design. A price was given and accepted and as I write this, the final install has yet to be done. Waiting on the paint room. David is wonderfully skilled. After each day, everything was cleaned and if something was moved, it was replaced. Its going to look awesome.

I contacted David on this website. He responded same day asking for additional details and pictures. I emailed him high resolution pictures of the wood posts. He indicated he could make the wood posts and would even stain them to match as closely as possible. He told me his price (which I thought was more than reasonable). He asked that I leave the posts outside my home for him to pick up (as he lived close by or indicated he was going to be in the area). David picked up the posts, created and stained new ones and left the new ones on my doorstep same day. They were perfect and the speed and turn-a-round was amazing! Thanks again!

Winchell Woodworking is the best contractor we have ever hired to do work in our homes over the years and we have had several. David was very courteous and patient as we planned our project and made changes along the way. He worked very well with our schedule and his work was of the best quality. As the old counters and shelving were removed, he always made sure to limit all dust, debris, and noise and quickly cleaned up afterwards. The patchwork and painting were seamless and he was flexible and open to the little changes and requests we asked for along the way. Our project finished on time and on budget. We highly recommend Winchell Woodworking.

We have had major home remodeling done in 2 homes over the past 20 years and we can honestly say that Winchell Woodworking is one of the best companies we have ever used. David is great to work with as he is meticulous in his design and his craftsmanship. David was always on time for appointments and was very patient with us duing the design process. All construction debris or dust (very little) was contained to the kitchen area. David left the area spotless at the end of every day. We are only 1 week into the project and they are completing all the prep work in order to start hanging the new cabinets and refacing the base cabinets. I would not hesitate one bit in recommending Winchell Woodworking. I will recommend them to everyone. I will update again in a couple weeks when the kitchen remodel will be in the final stages.

I am very pleased with the hanging of art and mirrors in seven mirrors. Not only is each piece securely in place, his working partnership with the decorator as well as myself, has resulted in efficiency and wonderful decorating results. I am excited to be starting the cabinet project. I have total confidence the end results will be just what I had in mind.

He did an excellent job and is very willing to make you happy. He suggested adding details that I never even thought of, such as a pillowed edge on all the cabinet doors. He matched the exact color of the cabinets to the existing woodwork and created a very smooth finish on all of the pieces. He matched the style of the cabinets to the contemporary look I was going for in the room. Our TV looks and works great above our fireplace and the new mantle really makes the fireplace a focal point. I was very pleased with the results and I am starting another project with him involving the cornices for my family room windows. He even helped us to rearrange furniture and hang pictures! I would recommend Winchell Woodworking to anyone.

David from Winchell Woodworking was a pleasure to do business with. He is very creative and helped us design a kitchen far better than we could have ever dreamed of on our own. He had great suggestions, provided quality materials and work and was reasonably priced. The countertops he and his crew installed are absolutely beautiful. We also had him design a new island for us which is no longer just an ordinary island, but a custom built piece of furniture and now the focal point of the kitchen. HIs attention to detail was amazing! We would definitely use David for any future countertop or woodworking needs that we have.

David is an absolutely outstanding craftsman. We hired David to reface our kitchen cabinets. My kitchen is now a custom kitchen down to the very last detail. David was recommended to us by my niece and I could not have picked a better contractor for this job. I am an extremely picky person and I have to say I am extremely pleased with David's work. I will definitely miss David when my project is done within the next few days. If your are considering any remodeling or cabinetry, Winchell Woodworking is a must. He came in as a contractor and left as a friend.

s They were great! Very hard workers, I couldn't even get them to stop for a snack. It was a difficult job (laminate) and not their favorite thing to do, but they did a perfect job. The molding turned out the best of anything I've ever had, and was lower than others' price. I know someone who had their entire basement turned into something that looked like another house, starting from bare cement to completing individual rooms, lighting, bathroom, etc. The owners were thrilled, and plan to have him back for building custom cabinetry, which puts him head and shoulders above most of the competition for quality, price, and reliability. I wish I could afford to hire him to redo most of my house! He also had an entire book showing his completed work; I told him his prices were too cheap but he just laughed and said he likes for people to be able to do what they really want to and be able to afford it. Dave and his crew are true craftsmen and I am happy to recommend them so highly.
