+ -1 moreI was surprised by the price since it was lower than everyone elses. His price included labor and materials. The next lowest bid was $2,800. I was worried that I was misquoted since his price was so low. He confirmed everything we agreed to was included in the price. I was stunned by the savings. He came out on time with one other worker and got 90% done in one day. I have never seen anyone work so hard. I plan on using them next year for more paver stone work. The work he did is gorgeous. He has great craftsmanship and great attention to detail.
Description of Work: I had them put in a "T" shaped 8 feet wide by 20 feet long pavers.

+ -1 moreThe work took a total of four days and was excellent. They came in and worked very hard and they were very professional. They protected our yard, constructing a path with plywood panels where their wheel barrels travelled and did minimal damage or diruption in their work area. Miguel's design was perfect for the location and reflects his years of experience in designing and instaling patios. The paver product used was very high quality. We are very pleased with the outcome and the way it was done.
Description of Work: Miguel and his crew constructed a 14x16 paver patio with two benches and an offset 10x10 patio extension which included a fire pit with cooking grate. Miguel also constructed a small retaining wall elswhere on our property and repaired/improved two drainage situations.

+ -1 moreFrom the day that Miguel gave us the estimate to the day that the job was completed (it took about 7 days), the experience was absolutely the best. His crew was polite, neat, punctual, and left the job site every day in impeccable condition, cleaning everything up and putting things away. Every time we asked Miguel if he could do something else like reinforcing the pool patio wall or redirecting a drain spout under the walkway or extending the original patio out another foot , he'd say and quot;no problemand quot; AND he never deviated from his original estimate! You just don't get that kind of service and quality workmanship anymore these days!
Description of Work: Miguel Ortiz and his crew of three did an absolutely masterful job, tearing out our old patio pavers and pea gravel pathways and installing Unilock pavers for an area about 600 sq feet. We recently added onto our deck and needed to extend pavers out around some 12 foot long stairs that we had put in and decided to get some quotes to see how pricey it would be. We were planning on keeping our old pavers on our existing patio and just add similar pavers around the base of our deck but Miguel gave us such a reasonable estimate to just tear all the pavers out and install new ones that we couldn't pass it up. He also tore out a concrete stoop and replaced it with pavers, reinforced an existing wall in our pool area (that matched our original wall perfectly) that we weren't even planning on doing and wrapped some ugly concrete stairs with pavers to really dress up the look. He even moved some plants and replanted them for us because they were too close to the walkway that we were having repaved.
