Our roof was purchased in 2014. Ever since they removed the ventilation system that was in place when they house was built and put in their ridge vent system. Our attic has been creating so much condensation that mold has formed and water has leaked in every room on our second floor. Style Exteriors has came to my house every winter since 2014 and infact, admitted that its a ventilation issue and will not replace the ventilation system that they installed. When then updated the roof and ridge vent they nailed closed the ridge vent so the air flow cannot properly get out. Causing it to just remain in the attic. We had several different contractors out for their professional opinions, stating it is in fact the ridge vent that they installed. Style Exteriors will not replace it even though it came with a 10 year warranty, which is on their website. Would not recommend this company at al!!l Stay far, far away. They have cost us thousands of dollars in mold removal, painting, drywall replacement, along with purchasing a new ventilation system with another company, due to their poor quality Ridge vent and lack of workman ship when installed.

Work was done in 2015, so this review is based on how well the project has held up. Overall I'm dissatisfied and would not recommend using Carden for the following reasons: (1) They were supposed to install diverters on the gutters, but didn't, so I'm now seeing additional wood rot where water is not supposed to go. (2) Gutters have leaked since day one, and the water is getting behind the gutters causing wood rot. (3) Gutters were not installed flush to the soffit, so bees got behind, burrowed into the wood and caused other problems. (4) The alignment of the shingles is not straight. I see this and cringe every day. (5) They left gaps between the shingles and the roof line, so squirrels have gotten into the attic. (6) During the install, they left a mess each day. For months after the job was completed, I found trash from the job that I cleaned up. (7) The granules on the shingles are shedding, so I need to continually clean the gutters to keep water flowing. Note: these are supposed to be 50-year shingles. I doubt they'll last that long. (8) It appears like the shingles are starting to warp and lift.

Carden Exteriors replaced the roof on my house and did an excellent job. Tom Carden was a pleasure to work with and responded quickly to all of my questions. His crew tore off my old roof and replaced it in about six hours and left the jobsite extremely clean. Their pricing is very competitive and my roof looks wonderful! I highly recommend Carden Exteriors and would definitely use them again for other projects.

Jay and his crews did an outstanding job repairing the critter damage and re shingling our garage roof! They went above and beyond on the soffit/fascia repairs and re cladding. Will definitely use Carden Exteriors, Inc for two other projects in 2021-22.

Outstanding knowledge and service!

Extremely pleased with the end result. Our roof looks amazing and the crew was able to complete it within a day. The after the job cleanup was great too and was comforting that the crew wanted to leave the site as if they were never even here. Thanks for the great work!

very happy with the job

We had several bids on the job and decided on Style by Carden Exteriors. Had done a little research myself and with recommendation from some of the other companies though there should be more venting than there was. I let the project manager know that is what I thought so they ordered more vents. Installation day came and all went really well from delivery of materials to tear off and completion of the job. Only thing that had me wondering is while they did install one more vent I thought they were going to do two. Don't know why they didn't but roof looks great.

Style Exteriors removed our old cedar shingle roof and installed a synthetic cedar roof, including underpayment. They did an outstanding job. Highly recommend them.

hired them in September, 2018 and my roof started leaking approximately November 28th , Two months later. they came out and said it was too cold to fix it and to call back in the spring and they would re roof the leaking area. I called in the spring and they refused to come out and said it was my skylight. i have reported them to the better business area and they threatened to sue me up to $5000.

Great to work with and very knowledgeable

I found my dealings with Jim Turk to be most helpful throughout the process of having my roof replaced. Jim was always accessible and would phone if he were to be delayed a little. After getting a very reasonable proposal for the job, I had to conclude matters with my insurance company. When I called Jim to proceed he came over that evening , and said it was possible that, as this was a one day job, they might be able to fit it in shortly. Today the crew arrived early and proceeded expeditiousl y but thoroughly to do the whole job,including a superior clean up. It was very impressive, and I am vry pleased with my new roof.

Jay was very good at his job and the installation of my new roof went without a hitch. Good company and very good shingles. They didn't use cheap stuff they went with Owens Corning. Very good job and pleased with the work. Hired them again to do some work on my gutters too.

I watched as the teams worked. Everything as spec d. Large house, dormers. Did 1/2 completely on day 1, did other half next day. Buttoned up and gone by 2:00 pm. Invoice paid by cc with NO processing fee. Office efficient and documentation complete.

My wife and I hired Style Exteriors to replace our roof. We met with Drew Klass to review the project and prepare a proposal. Drew was very helpful and professional. He worked with us and our schedule to get the job done. The installation crew was prompt, professional and did an excellent job. We couldn't be happier with the results. We definitely would recommend Style Exteriors.
